In this study, design methodology to determine optimal shape of the anvil in sizing press process has been proposed to minimize crop length of the AISI 1010 slab in horizontal rolling after width reduction. Shape of anvil were selected to 12 cases by design of experiment, and the dog-bone shapes and the crop length were determined by FE-analysis. Also, the anvil shape, which has minimum crop length, were determined by artificial neural network(ANN). As a result of FE-analysis, it can be seen that the crop length was increased with increasing center thickness in the dog-bone shape after width reduction. The anvil shape which has minimum crop length, was estimated to ${\theta}_{1}=21^{\circ}{\theta}_{2}=14^{\circ}$ by FE-analysis and ANN.

This study is to investigate the Function of sleeve for the construction of cuffs. Three measuremental items of sleeve cap high, length of sleeve and puff quantity of upper sleeve cap are compared between when the experimental man raises righthand static pose. The wearing test is done in sewing cuffs of either fixing up cuffs or not-fixing up cuffs, and in no cuffs. Three measuremental items are pulled length from sleeve end, pulled length from side waist line, and pulled dimensions from waist line. 1. The result according to the length and dimensions variation caused by a change of sleeve cap high. 2. The results according to the length and dimensions variation caused by a sort of sleeve length. 3. The results according to the length and dimension variation caused by the puff quantity of sleeve cap.

The analysis of the absolute growth in seven body parts of crayfish (Cumbaroides similis Koelbel), such as carapace length, carapace width, abdominal length, abdominal width, sheliped length, second pereiopod length and third pereiopod length (the grolwth formula, y : a + bt ~ci applied) was performed. The results obtained are as follows: 1. The analyses of changing growth quantity for the seven body parts in both sexes showed concave shaped increase. 2. The largest ratios of the grourth quantity in both sexes were revealed in abdominal width (18.3677 times in male and 18.9253 times in female). 3. The srolwth rates of the seven body parts in both sexes showed a smooth increasing pattern. 4. 각B the sperifn'cgrouch rates revealed a decreasing pattern, moreover steep descendent patterns of it appeared in abdominal length of both sexes and abdominal width in male.

The purpose of this study was to develop the pattern-making for Korean glove. To develop the pattern-making for glove this study comprehensive list of candidate hand data was reviewed and the manufacturers(career over th 15 years) were interviewed on the method of glove. The results of regression analysis(hand data) were as follows (unit: cm): wrist thumb tip length = middle finger length + 3.22, hand bread = 1.25 $\times$ middle finger length + 2.18, middle finger breadth at dist = 0.23 $\times$ index finger circumference + 0.4, maximum hand circumference = 3.15 $\times$ index finger circumference + 4.13, middle finger circumference = 0.91 $\times$ index finger circumference + 0.47, maximum hand thickness = 0.69 $\times$ index finger circumference -0.02. Hand measurements for glove pattern-making were developed: There were palmar hand length, hand circumference, index finger circumference and middle finger length.

In this paper, The relationship between device performance and channel length(1.5-50$\mu$m) in polysilicon thin-film transistors fabricated by SPC technology was Investigated by measuring electric Properties such as 1-V characteristics, field effect mobility, threshold voltage, subthreshold swing, and trap density in grain boundary with channel length. The drain current at ON-state increases with decreasing channel length due to increase of the drain field, while OFF-state current (leakage current) is independent of channel length. The field effect mobility decrease with channel length due to decreasing carrier life time by the avalanche injection of the carrier at high drain field. The threshold voltage and subthreshold swing decrease with channel length, and then increase in 1.5 $\mu$m increase of increase of trap density in grain boundary by impact ionization.

Continuation power flow has been developed to remove the ill-condition problem caused by singularity of power flow Jacobian at and near at steady-state voltage instability point in conventional power flow. Continuation power flow consists of predictor and corrector. In prddictor, the direction vector at the resent solution is caluculated and the initial guess of next solution is determined at the distance of step length. The selection of step length is a very important part, since computational speed and convergence performance are both greatly affected by the choice of the step length. This paper presents the practical step length selection algorithm using the reactive power generation sensitivith. In numulation, the proposed algorithm is compared with step length selection algorithm using TVI(tangent vector index).

강원도 삼척시 호산리 호산천에서 채집된 꾹저구, 검정꾹저구, 무늬꾹저구 3종의 성적이형에 관하여 조사하였다. 3종은 산란기때 뚜렷한 혼인색을 나타낸다. 3종 모두 암컷에서는 두부복면, 배지느러미, 제 1 등지느러미 외연이 진한 흑색을 나타냈다. 그러나 검정꾹저구의 제 1 등지느러미 외연으로부터 1/3은 진한 흑색을 나타낸 반면 다른 2종은 짙은 황색을 나타내는 차이를 보였다. 3종의 암컷모두 복부가 짙은 황색이 되는 공통점을 나타내었다. 수컷인 경우, 꾹저구와 무늬꾹저구는 거의 같은 혼인색을 나타냈으나 뒷지느러미에 있어서 무늬꾹저구는 짙은 흑색을 나타내었고, 꾹저구는 옅은 흑색을 나타내었다. 검정꾹저구는 두부복면, 배지느러미 및 뒷지느러미가 황색을 나타낸 반면, 나머지 2종은 옅은 흑색을 나타내었다. 이들 3종의 수컷 생식공돌기는 좁고 긴 삼각형 모양이었고, 암컷은 굵고 짧은 하트모양이었다. 꾹저구는 7개의 형질 즉, 체고, 두장, 문장, 상악장, 두고, 가슴지느러미 길이, 안경 등에서 암수간에 유의한 차이가 인정되었다. 검정꾹저구는 11개의 형질 즉, 체고, 미병장, 미병고, 두고, 두장, 문장, 상악장, 두폭, 뒷지느러미 길이, 가슴지느러미 길이 및 꼬리지느러미 길이 등에서 유의한 차이가 인정되었다. 무늬꾹저구는 10개의 형질 즉, 체고, 두장, 미병고, 문장, 상악장, 두폭, 뒷지느러미 길이, 가슴지느러미 길이, 꼬리지느러미 길이 및 안경 등에서 유의한 차이가 인정되었다. 이들 형질중, 체고, 두장, 문장, 상악장 및 가슴지느러미 길이 등은 3종 모두 암수간에 유의한 차이가 인정된 형질이었는데 암컷은 체고에서만 수컷보다 높은 수치를 나타냈고, 나머지 형질에서는 수컷이 암컷보다 높은 수치를 나타냈다. 또한 암수간에 가장 큰 차이로 쉽게 구분이 가능했던 형질은 상악장으로써 수컷의 상악장은 암컷의 후연을 훨씬 넘었다 (p<0.001).

In this note, we introduce the concept of the extremal length of a curve family in the complex plane and apply the extremal length to the boundary behavior of analytic functions. We consider some geometric applications of extremal length and establish applications connected with the logarithmic capacity.

We introduce the extremal length and examine its properties. And we consider the geometric applications of extremal length to the boundary behavior of analytic functions, conformal mappings. We derive the theorem in connection with the capacity. This theorem applies the extremal length to the analytic function defined on the domain with a number of holes. And we obtain the theorems in connection with the pure geometric problems.

In this paper, we propose a new construction algorithm for the reversible variable-length code (RVLC) using a simplified average length function of the optimal Huffman code. RVLC is introduced as one of the error resilience tools in H.263+ and MPEG-4 owing to its error-correcting capability. The proposed algorithm demonstrates an improved performance in terms of the average codeword length over the existing HVLC algorithms.
