Marketing Strategy to lead Leisure sporting goods consumption to improve the leisure life of sports participants

  • Purpose - The sports business industry and contemporary sports marketing is an exemplary wide field that primarily comprises specific activities, numerous individuals, organizations, and business ventures. This research aims to provide a marketing strategy to lead Leisure sporting goods consumption to improve the leisure life of sports participants. Research design, Data, and methodology - The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) was conducted to obtain the appropriate literature resources and total 15 previous resources selected by the present author after excluding papers based on screening process. Result - The literature analysis revealed that marketing practitioners in the sports and leisure industry should remember three significant solutions which are suggested. These solutions the following: (1) Brand Visibility, (2) Suitable Business Designs, and (3) Customers Support. They will enhance the perspective of consumption goods that foster leisure life to sporting participants following a well-advanced market strategy Conclusion - The sporting activities are generally inspiring, emotion provoking, immersive, rapidly growing profits and revenues, and engaging; hence, it is a great adventure of advancing customer orientation and a platform for growing the market. Therefore professionals have the responsibility to design sporting events in synergy with different stakeholders in ensuring improved and enjoyable experiences based on the marketing solutions of the current research.

1인 가구의 소비성향 분석을 통한 홈퍼니싱 제품전략 연구 (A Study of Home-furnishing Products Strategy through the Consumption Tendency Analysis of Single Household)

  • Single households currently account for 26.5% of all households and their number is expected to continue to rise, reaching 34.5% by 2035. An analysis of the consumption trends and needs of single households shows that they are rising as a new consumer group with a focus on investment on the individual and favouring: small but high-tech products: efficient use of limited resources: safety and peace of mind: self-improvement and leisure. Products which meet such demands are having an impact on the growth of home-furnishing market. An analysis of companies in Korea's home-furnishing market, with examples like the lifestyle company IKEA, shows a variety of brands such as SPA brand, furniture specialist, distributor and character products. And yet most are OEM products which lack differentiated product lines and compete with similar display and distribution structure. We needs the Single household consumption tendency of home-furnishing market and differentiation strategy through product analysis. In order to increase the value of companies in the home-furnishing market, in addition to differentiated design, product competitiveness must aspire to higher customer satisfaction with easy assembly, innovation in logistics, innovative sales methods such as virtual-reality simulation for products and space, individually-tailored furniture for the needs of single household and products which combine smart technology. For home-grown home-furnishing brands to have competitiveness, they must leverage on the strengths of the industry, offering differentiated and competitive products in a wider range of areas with convergence functions as well as differentiation in consumer interface and application of advancing technology; in-depth product research is called for.

베이비부머소비자 라이프스타일 유형과 동기, 그리고 여행상품 선택간의 영향관계 (The Relationship among Types of Lifestyle, Motivation, and Travel Product Selection of Baby Boomer Consumer)

  • 한국 전쟁 이후 태어난 베이비부머 세대는 우리나라 전체 인구의 약 15% 가량을 차지하면서 매우 빠른 속도의 고령화를 주도하는 세대이다. 2012년부터 본격적으로 은퇴기에 접어드는 베이비부머 세대들은 2020년에는 전체 은퇴자 중 약 80%가 넘을 것으로 예상된다. 그들은 소득수준과 교육수준이 높고 경제적으로 여유가 있기 때문에 여가 활동 중의 하나인 여행을 즐기는 것이 은퇴기의 핵심이 될 것으로 보여 진다. 따라서 본 연구는 베이비부머소비자의 라이프스타일과 여행상품의 속성유형을 연구하였다. 그 결과, 베이비부머 세대는 현 세대의 노인들에 비해 구매력을 바탕으로 적극적인 소비 활동을 하고 있었으며, 건강 및 여가지향과 가족지향적인 라이프스타일을 가지고 있었다. 향후 그들이 여행 상품을 선택할 때에는 여행사, 교통수단, 여행거리, 여행동반자를 가장 많이 고려하는 것으로 나타났다.

몽골 여성 소비자의 명품 소비가치 세분화와 브랜드 개성 및 구매행동에 관한 연구 (Luxury value-based segmentation, brand personality, and purchase behavior of Mongolian female consumers)

  • The current study aimed to segment Mongolian female consumers based on luxury consumption values and to compare lifestyle, demographic characteristics, purchase behavior, and perceived brand personality among the segments. The survey was administered to consumers who had purchased luxury products in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. A total of 184 surveys were used for data analysis. Exploratory factor analysis revealed five luxury values: quality value, hedonic value, conspicuous value, social value, and unique value. Using the five luxury values, clustering analysis was conducted, showing that there were four distinct segments: passive shoppers, showoffs, rational value groups, and hedonists. ANOVAs and chi-square analyses revealed that these four segments differed in consumption values, demographic characteristics, lifestyle dimensions (including appearance consciousness, leisure orientation, life enjoyment, and achievement orientation), and purchase behavior (including purchase frequency, price of products purchased, and product selection criteria). Moreover, value segments showed differences in five dimensions of luxury brand personality: sincerity, professionalism/attractiveness, excitement, materialism, and sophistication. The results suggest that consumption values serve as a significant basis for segmentation. Furthermore, the current study indicates that value segments can be described as consumers' perceived brand personality. The study concludes with a discussion of the results, theoretical and practical implications, and limitations.

TV 드라마 PPL 광고의 효과와 대학생들의 라이프스타일과의 관계 분석 (The Analysis of Relationship Between the Effect of PPL Ads in TV Dramas and University Students' Lifestyle)

  • This is an empirical research on the effect of the product placement advertisement on the consumption behavior of college students. A structured survey to 342 students in and near Seoul shows that life style of the students significantly matters to the effect. That is, beauty-oriented students are more sensitive to the PPL than other student groups (i.e., career-oriented, saving-oriented, leisure-oriented, or freedom-oriented students). On the other hand, the freedom-oriented students are not sensitive to the PPL at all. Some statistical methods including factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were employed in order to get those results.

소비자 연령대에 따른 니트웨어 착용 및 소비행동의 차이 (Consumer Age Group Differences in Knitwear Consumption Behavior)

  • Due to consumers' preferences for seeking a quality life and having more leisure time, comfortableness became a major criteria for selecting clothes for all age groups. This is why consumers' interests in knitwear increased recently. The purpose of this study is to analyze the knitwear consumption patterns such as style preferences, and consumer satisfaction with knitwear. Particularly, differences in age groups of consumers were analyzed. Data from 463 men and women participated in the study. Results indicated that consumers wear knits once or twice a week in average. After two to three years of consumption, they discard the knitwear. Among various apparel product categories, Consumers selected Cardigan to be the preferable knitwear product category. They preferred 100% cotton and achromatic or gray/brown color with solid fabrics. In general, consumers were most satisfied with colors and least satisfied with laundering of knitwear. Older consumers preferred knitwear to woven products, preferred pull-over style and valued feelings of softness and comfortableness when wearing knitwear. There were more differences in dissatisfaction factors than satisfaction factors according to the consumer age groups.

주거용부동산의 거주유형에 따른 베블런효과에 관한 연구: 과시소비성향을 중심으로 (A Study on Veblen Effect according to Residence Estate: Focused on Conspicuous Consumption)

  • 최근 부유층 주거지에 특정 목적에 의한 중 저소득층이 진입, 준거집단에 합류하며 과시효과를 누리고 싶어 한다. 이 현상으로 주거용부동산에 대해 유한계급층이 아닌 일반 소비자들의 과시효과에 대한 욕구를 유추할 수 있다. 과시소비를 함으로써 고가의 상품을 구매할 수 있는 준거집단에 속한다는 우월함과 고가를 지불할 수 있는 능력을 통해 부를 전시하는 효과를 얻는다고 볼 때 자신의 사회경제적 능력을 보이기 위한 과시적 소비성향은 주거용부동산에도 영향을 미치리라고 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 주거부동산의 거주유형에 따른 베블런효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 다양한 심리적 특성, 주거특성, 인구사회학적 특성이 베블런효과에 미치는 영향을 PLS 경로모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 차가거주자가 자가거주자에 비해 과시소비성향이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 체면민감성은 자아존중감과 주거유형에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며 이는 과시소비성향으로 이어진다. 또한 거주면적이 크고 소득수준이 높을수록 과시소비성향이 큰 것으로 확인되었다.

스포츠 휴먼브랜드의 굿즈상품(Goods) 가치가 감정반응(PAD) 및 소비 행동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Sports Human Brand's Goods Product Value on Emotional Response(PAD) and Consumption Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 스포츠 휴먼브랜드의 굿즈상품(Goods) 가치, 감정반응(PAD), 소비 행동 간 일어나는 현상을 분석하기 위해 2021년 10월 18일~2022년 1월 12일까지 온라인 서베이(URL), DM, E-mail 등을 활용하여 371명을 편의 표준추출법으로 표집하였으며, 불성실한 응답자 51명을 제외한 유효 표본 320명을 인과 관계(SEM)를 적용하여 분석하였다. 첫째, 휴먼 브랜드의 굿즈 가치는 감정반응에 정(+)의 영향으로 가설이 채택되었다. 둘째, 감정반응은 소비 행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 가설이 채택되었다. 셋째, 휴먼 브랜드의 굿즈 가치는 소비 행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며 부분적으로 가설이 채택되었다. 마지막으로 굿즈상품(goods) 가치와 소비 행동의 관계에서 감정반응의 간접효과는 통계적으로 유의 의미한 것으로 나타났다.
