Impact of Fiber Projection from GMT-Sheet Moldings on Surface Unevenness (GMT-Sheet 성형품의 표면요철에 미치는 섬유돌출의 영향)

  • According to the evaluation on GMT-sheet by molding conditions, fiber projection on the moldings surface was investigated. Fiber projection is one of the major defects on moldings surface due to matrix shrinkage. That is, fiber projection happens from different shrinkage of matrix and glass fiber. Height of fiber projection from moldings surface becomes smaller when molding pressure is higher during holding pressure and cooling process. Height of fiber projection is dominantly affected by molding pressure. With consideration of molding pressure, the formation of surface unevenness and change in fiber projection height was elucidated. In addition, coating layer is effective to suppress surface defects, and there is no fiber projection or crack in case that coating is applied. Coating layer improves surface roughness up to the level of the polypropylene which is a single material.

  • In this paper, isolation enhanced antenna using isolating resonator was proposed. Two loop type antennas were designed to operate at Wi-Fi band(2.4~2.5 GHz), in symmetry to the center, and are closely located to each other. In order to enhance isolation characteristics at Wi-Fi bands, isolating resonator was designed between the two loop type antennas. The proposed isolating resonator is a slot type antenna that enhances isolation with the control of the size, and by adjusting the value of capacitor($C_D$) the resonant frequency of the isolating resonator can easily be adjusted to enhance isolation characteristic at the target frequency.

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to develop the radiographic technique for detecting the demineralization which is known as indication of dental caries. Materials and Methods: This technique was based on the comparing of multiple radiographs which was irradiated by multiple X-ray spectra. For the meaningful comparing, the multiple radiographs were reconstructed to the dosimetrically consistent images using a standard material. The difference of resulting images of same target with multiple spectra represents the difference of response of material as regards the spectra. Results : We have found about 10% of demineralization of dental hard tissues particularly in the proximal region through the analyzing of differences. Conclusion: Most intriguing thing in this investigation was that the method to analyze difference shows us to an anatomic structure of dental hard tissues even if absolute values of optical density were excluded during the procedures. Survey of Satisfaction with Oriental Medical Care for Traffic Accident Patients ; 35 Cases Report (교통사고 환자 35예에 대한 한방의료 서비스 만족도 조사)

  • Objectives : This study aimed to understand the satisfaction degree of patients due to traffic accident(TA) in order to provide basic data which would give help not only to improve the quality of services, but also to strengthen the competitiveness of oriental medical hospitals on sequela of TA patients. Methods : The data were collected from inpatients and outpatients who answered a self-report questionnaire. Independent t-test, analysis of variance(ANOVA), $X^2$-test, correlation analysis were used for data analysis. Results : According to the research on medical satisfaction degree, the overall satisfaction degree was 4.141. On each field, satisfaction degree related to the doctor service recorded the highest degree among others(4.474). Satisfaction degree related to the appropriateness of service was the second(4.091). On the other hand, satisfaction degree of using procedure was the lowest degree(3.857). On the difference of degrees of satisfaction by general characteristics, patients who were unemployed houseworker group showed lower doctor service satisfaction degree than that of other groups. However, on the difference of degrees of satisfaction related to other general characteristics, there were no significant differences(p<0.05). Conclusions : The service distribution of oriental medical hospital was almost equal without concentrating on specified social classes.

Preparation and Properties of Sulfonated Poly(ether Sulfone)s Containing BFBN for PEMFC (PEMFC용 고분자 전해질 막을 위한 BFBN을 포함한 sulfonated poly(ether sulfone)s의 합성 및 특성)

  • Sulfonated poly (ether sulfone)s containing BFBN were prepared from 2,3-bis(4-fluorophenyl)-2-butenedinitrile , 4,4-sulfonyldiphenol and sulfonated 4,4'-difluorodiphenylsulfone sodium salt using potassium carbonate, and followed acidification reaction with 1M $H_2SO_4$. BFBN was prepared from 4-fluorobenzylcyanide, $CCl_4$, NaOH using trimethylbenzylammoniumchloride . Sulfonated poly(ether sulfone)s containing BFBN were studied by FT-IR, $^1H$-NMR spectroscopy, and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA). The water uptake of synthesized S-PBFBN membranes exhibit 31~62% compared with 28% of Nafion 211. The S-PBFBN membranes exhibit proton conductivities ($80^{\circ}C$, RH 100) of 53.8~117.4 mS/cm compared with 137.4 mS/cm of Nafion 211.

  • For navigation safety, navigators have to be familiar with maneuverabilities. When a vessel encounters a danger of collisions and stranding, maneuverability is essential for the safety of ship. It is composed of turning, course change, speed change, etc. In the latter part, maneuverabilities and motion of Training Ship HANBADA are provided by full-scale measurement in the $10^{\circ}/10^{\circ}$ Zig-Zag Test, $20^{\circ}/20^{\circ}$ Zig-Zag Test and Turning Circle Test(Port and Starboard). It aims to provide information on maneuverabilities and motion of Training Ship HANBADA so that the navigators can take proper action to avoid.

  • The situation requires a global alternative energy resources due to the lack of rapid consumption of fossil fuel and nuclear fuel that occurs in nature. There are a number of alternative energy research and development in the world today. Of which there is an existing wind power generation system has been developed into a large-scale systematic trend of small wind power systems have created a wind power generation system using a simple principle. Existing small wind turbine system is a situation that is in many places a deterioration odor problems and maintenance of power generation efficiency because it came to be developed systematically. In this paper, we developed a hybrid power system that can develop the solar energy at the same time as the increase in the small wind power generation efficiency and the system to develop that can efficiently maintain the hybrid power generation system through the network.

  • Korean power consumption of the electrical supply problems due to excess demand is repeated every year, the interest in energy increasing social and personal cost has been subject to the number of ways to reduce this cost increases. Automatic doors and automatic door installation market is increasing every year and frequently, when used in general commercial and communal porch consumption based on average 300 times a day power is 70[W] degree is a monthly average usage is about 50.4[KW]. The level can not ignore the power consumption due to switching frequency is large. In this paper, by converting the energy to be discarded in the automatic doors to the inverter and the regenerative energy and to develop control systems for power regeneration to reduce the power consumption by utilizing automatic contact auxiliary power.

  • The sprinkler system is regarded as the most effective fire extinguishing system. In this study, we proposed a sprinkler layout optimization framework based on fire simulation and mathematical programming. As a case study, the target space in the form of ordinary residence was set up with the size of $5.2m(L){\times}5.4m(W){\times}2.4m(H)$, and we constructed the fire scenario that polyurethane couch was ignited through carelessness. And we simulated and analyzed fire speed, temperature change and heat release rate according to the type and number of sprinklers installed. Through the formulation of installation and damage costs depending on sprinklers, the sprinkler layout showing optimal performance was resulted from mathematical programming.
