헝거포드 접근법의 행동주의를 넘어서 (Beyond the Behaviorism Embedded in the Hungerford Approach)

  • My responses to Kim Kyung-Ok's Critique on my critique on the Hungerford approach can be summarized as follows; First, it was argued that possible confusions and misunderstandings around the concept of behavior in REB were mainly caused by Hungerford himself who has used the word in several different ways, from a bunch of overt actions to almost all kinds of responses including cognitive skills, without any clear operational definition of it for more than 20 years. It seems to be needed for future users of the word, 'Behavior' to Prevent unnecessary confusions by providing their operational definition of it. Second, REB is too ambiguous to be a legitimate goal of environmental education and too outcome-oriented to be a meaningful measure for environmental education research. Anyone who accept REB as a goal of EE or a measure for research should clearly suggest procedures and criteria for judging the environmental responsibility of actions under consideration. Third, the Hungerford approach has begun by realizing the limit of a linear traditional behavior change system and has been evolving toward a complex model with dynamic interactions among/between cognitive variables and affective variables. However, it still has one-way structural orientation toward 'Behavior' with no feedbacks. Addition of some feedback processes would make the model more flexible and realistic. Finally, both the Hines model and the Hungeford model were established based on a series of behavioristic studies including three doctoral dissertations equiped with a list of actions which were prejudged to be environmentally responsible by the researchers, not by the learners. What they were primarily interested in was not how mind functions during the learning processes but how learners' behavior can be effectively changed. Considering uncertainty and complexity associated with environmental problems, a great deal of efforts ought to be made toward more context-based and less normative studies applying cognitive psychology and quantitative approaches.

  • 최근의 직업훈련에서는 강의, 실습 위주의 방식에서 벗어나 훈련생들이 스스로 결과물을 만들어 내어 기업 현장 전문가의 피드백을 받아볼 수 있는 프로젝트 기반 수업에 대한 요구가 커지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 최근 직업훈련기관에서 중요시 하고 있는 기업맞춤형 훈련 내 프로젝트 수업 수요자인 훈련생의 인식과 요구가 무엇인지를 파악하여 프로젝트 수업의 설계 및 운영방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 기업 맞춤형 훈련에 대한 훈련생의 인식을 서면조사하고 개방형 문항에 대한 질적분석을 실시하였다. 구체적으로 프로젝트 수업 만족도, 프로젝트 수업의 취업기여도, 프로젝트 수업에 대한 기대의 충족 여부, 개선점 등을 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 시사점을 도출하였다.

구조 인식 심층 합성곱 신경망 기반의 영상 잡음 제거 (Image Denoising Via Structure-Aware Deep Convolutional Neural Networks)

  • 스마트폰의 보급이 확산되고 대중화됨에 따라 대부분의 사람들은 사진을 촬영하기 위해 모바일 카메라를 애용하고 있다. 하지만 저조도 환경에서 사진을 촬영할 때 광량이 부족한 이유로 원치 않는 잡음이 발생할 수 있다. 이런 잡음을 제거하기 위해, 최근 심층 합성곱 신경망에 기반한 잡음 제거 기법이 제안되었다. 이 기법은 성능 측면에서 큰 진전을 보였을지라도 여전히 텍스처 및 에지 표현 능력이 부족하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 영상의 구조를 향상시키기 위해 에지의 방향 정보를 나타내는 호그 영상을 활용하고자 한다. 그리고 잡음 영상과 호그 영상을 스택으로 쌓은 후, 입력 텐서를 형성하여 심층 합성곱 신경망을 학습시키는 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 실험 결과를 통해, 제안한 기법은 기존의 기법보다 정량적인 화질 평가에서 더 우수한 결과를 얻을 수 있었으며 시각적인 측면에서도 텍스처 및 에지의 향상을 달성할 수 있었다.

외국의 교육제도와 교육시설의 특징 - 독일, 싱가포르, 미국의 사례를 중심으로 - (The Study on the foreign education system and educational facilities - Cases of the Germany, Singapore and the United States -)

  • Nowadays, the knowledge of modern society through education has become more and more complicated. The education system and the educational philosophy have created various education systems and methods for each country due to the difference of history and culture. In Korea, there are various teaching methods in recent years. However, if the traditional teaching method in Korea is based on educating teachers with a good understanding of the contents taught, some foreign countries such as USA and Germany can express their thoughts of the total population. In this situation, this study researches cases of other countries that have different educational systems from ours. It compares the differences of social background, educational program, and educational space in Germany, Singapore and the United States. As a result of this study, the following contents can be derived. The educational program is based on the social background of each country and plans an educational space suitable for the education program. In Germany, the emphasis is on the students' experience and community consciousness rather than on the amount of knowledge, so a home base space is planned between the classrooms to solve the problem of lack of solidarity and belonging among the students who are lacking in the curriculum. Some practical courses are run in the community. In Singapore, educational programs are elite-oriented compared to the other country, and because of the typical tropical climate, educational facilities are characterized by a lot of common space in semi-exterior space. Many schools in the United States have IMC in the central part of their schools that adopt self-directed learning and discussion.

탄력밴드를 이용한 팔과 다리 협응 훈련이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 균형 및 기능에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Upper and Lower Extremity Coordination Training with Elastic Band on Balance and Functional Ability for Chronic Stroke Patients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to show the effect of elastic band on balance and functional ability in chronic stroke patients living in community. Methods: The subjects who participated in the study were 9 patients with chronic stroke. One of them gave up during the study, finally 8 patients performed. The intervention was conducted once a week for 10 weeks. In this study functional reach test (FRT), timed up and go test (TUG), Tinetti performance oriented mobility assessment (Tinetti-POMA) were measured for balance. The coordination training of arms and legs using the elastic band was performed in three positions as supine, side lying, sitting. One arm performed flexion-adduction- external rotation with elbow flexion pattern and the opposite side(diagonal) leg was performed flexion-adduction-external rotation with knee flexion pattern, the other arm's pattern was extension-abduction-internal rotation with elbow extension and the opposite side (diagonal) leg was in extension-abduction-internal rotation with knee extension pattern. The training was performed in each position for 15 minutes in per position. The participants had a five minute break after each training. Results: The results are as follows. FRT and Tinetti-POMA showed significant increase statistically in each position. The TUG showed significant decrease statistically in each position. Conclusion: Even though the coordination training with elastic band had performed once a week, it showed positive effects on balance in chronic stroke patients. Therefore, if we can suggest the appropriate frequencies of coordination training of arms and legs using the elastic band, it can be a method to improve daily life and life quality to patients with chronic stroke.

언어와 감정-셸리의 『프랑켄슈타인』과 루소의『언어의 기원론』 (Shelley's Frankenstein and Rousseau's Essay on the Origin of Languages)

  • For the last decades, criticism on Frankenstein has tried to make a link between Victor's Creature and Rousseaurean "man in a state of nature." Like the Rousseaurean savage in a state of animal, the monster has only basic instincts least needed for his survival, i.e. self-preservation, but turns into a civilized man after learning language. Most critics argue that, despite the monster's acquisition of language, his failure in entry into a cultural and linguistic community is the outcome of a lack of sympathy for him by others, which displays the stark existence of epistemological barriers between them. That is to say, the monster imagines his being the same as others in the pre-linguistic stage but, in the linguistic stage, he realizes that he is different from others. Interpreting the Rousseaurean idea of language, which appears in his writings, as much more focused on emotion than many critics think, I read the dispute between Victor and his Creature as a variation of parent-offspring conflict. Shelley criticizes Rousseau's parental negligence in putting his children into a foundling hospital and leaving them dying there. The monster's revenge on uncaring Victor parallels the likely retaliation Rousseau's displaced children would perform against Rousseau, which Shelley imaginatively reproduces in her novel. The conflict between the monster and Victor is due to a disrupted attachment between parent and child in terms of Darwinian developmental psychology. Affective asynchrony between parent and child, which refers to a state of lack of mutual favorable feelings, accounts for numerous dysfunctional families. This paper shifts a focus from a semiotics-oriented perspective on the monster's social isolation to a Darwinian perspective, drawing attention to emotional problems transpiring in familial interactions. In doing so, it finds that language is a means of communicating one's internal emotions to others along with other means such as facial expressions and body movements. It also demonstrates that how to promote emotional well-being in either familial or social relationships entirely depends on the way in which one employs language that can entail either pleasure or anger on hearers' part.

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution driven by the convergence of ICT(information and communication technology) and manufacturing, research on smart factories is being actively conducted. In particular, the manufacturing industry prefers smart factories that autonomously connect and analyze data. For the efficient implementation of smart factories, it is essential to have an integrated production system that vertically integrates separately operated production equipment and heterogeneous S/W systems such as ERP, MES. In addition, it is necessary to double-verify production data by using automatic data collection technology so that the production process can be traced transparently. In this study, we want to show a case of data-centered integration of a large aircraft parts processing factory that requires high precision, takes a long time, and has the characteristics of processing large raw materials. For this, the components of the data-oriented integrated production system were identified and the connection structure between them was explained. And we would like to share the experience gained through the design and implementation case. The integrated production system proposed in this study integrates internal components based on data, which is expected to serve as a basis for SMEs to develop into an advanced stage, and traces materials with RFID technology.

클래스 다이어그램 이미지의 자동 분류에 관한 연구 (A Study on Automatic Classification of Class Diagram Images)

  • UML(Unified Modeling Language) 클래스 다이어그램은 시스템의 정적인 측면을 표현하며 분석 및 설계부터 문서화, 테스팅까지 사용된다. 클래스 다이어그램을 이용한 모델링이 소프트웨어 개발에 있어 필수적이지만, 경험이 많지 않은 모델러에게 쉽지 않은 작업이다. 도메인 카테고리별로 분류된 클래스 다이어그램 데이터 세트가 제공된다면, 모델링 작업의 생산성을 높일 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문은 클래스 다이어그램 이미지 데이터를 구축하기 위한 자동 분류 기술을 제공한다. 추가 정보 없이 단지 UML 클래스 다이어그램 이미지를 식별하고 도메인 카테고리에 따라 자동 분류한다. 먼저, 웹상에서 수집된 이미지들이 UML 클래스 다이어그램 이미지인지 여부를 판단한다. 그리고, 식별된 클래스 다이어그램 이미지에서 클래스 이름을 추출하여 도메인 카테고리에 따라 분류한다. 제안된 분류 모델은 정밀도, 재현율, F1점수, 정확도에서 각각 100.00%, 95.59%, 97.74%, 97.77%를 달성했으며, 카테고리별 분류에 대한 정확도는 81.1%와 95.2% 사이에 분포한다. 해당 실험에 사용된 클래스 다이어그램 이미지 개수가 충분히 크지 않지만, 도출된 실험 결과는 제안된 자동 분류 방식이 고려할 만한 가치가 있음을 나타낸다.

Message Security Level Integration with IoTES: A Design Dependent Encryption Selection Model for IoT Devices

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology that offers lucrative services in various industries to facilitate human communities. Important information on people and their surroundings has been gathered to ensure the availability of these services. This data is vulnerable to cybersecurity since it is sent over the internet and kept in third-party databases. Implementation of data encryption is an integral approach for IoT device designers to protect IoT data. For a variety of reasons, IoT device designers have been unable to discover appropriate encryption to use. The static support provided by research and concerned organizations to assist designers in picking appropriate encryption costs a significant amount of time and effort. IoTES is a web app that uses machine language to address a lack of support from researchers and organizations, as ML has been shown to improve data-driven human decision-making. IoTES still has some weaknesses, which are highlighted in this research. To improve the support, these shortcomings must be addressed. This study proposes the "IoTES with Security" model by adding support for the security level provided by the encryption algorithm to the traditional IoTES model. We evaluated our technique for encryption algorithms with available security levels and compared the accuracy of our model with traditional IoTES. Our model improves IoTES by helping users make security-oriented decisions while choosing the appropriate algorithm for their IoT data.

초등학교 지적장애 학생의 수업 참여도 중재 연구에 관한 체계적 고찰 : 국내 단일대상연구 설계 중심으로 (A Systematic Study on the Intervention Study of Intellectual Disability Students in Elementary Schools : Focusing on the Design of Single-Subject Research in Korea)

  • 목적 : 이 연구는 초등 지적장애 학생의 수업 참여도 중재에 대한 단일대상연구의 특성을 확인하는 것이다. 연구방법 : 총 5편의 논문을 선정하여 일반적 특성과 단일대상연구의 질적 수준을 알아보았다. 결과 : 연구 대상자는 12명이었으며, 중재는 모두 교실에서 진행되었다. 연구 설계는 모두 중다 간헐 기초선 설계를 사용하였다. 독립변인은 긍정적 행동지원, 장점강화활동, 자기결정교수학습모델, 자기점검법 등이었고, 종속변인은 수업참여 행동만을 측정(4편)하거나 수업참여 행동과 수업방해 행동을 함께 측정(1편)하였다. 분석 논문의 질적 수준은 모두 높은 수준으로 확인되었다. 결론 : 초등 지적장애 학생의 수업 참여도 중재 연구들은 효과적인 중재를 제공하고 질적 수준이 높아 근거 기반중재로 유용함을 확인할 수 있었다.
