안성교육을 위한 창의성 계발 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Creativity Improving System to Support Humanity Education)

  • 교육의 본질적인 측면에서 볼 때, 인성교육은 아주 중요한 부분이므로 보다 체계적인 인성교육올 하기 위하여 컴퓨터 시스템의 장점을 활용하는 것은 가치 있는 일이라고 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 인성교육시스템에 통합될 학습내용으로서 학습자의 창의성 계발을 목적으로 하는 창의성 계발 시스템(CIS; Creativity Improving System)을 설계 구현하였다. 창의성 계발 시스템은 객체지향개발기법을 이용하여 유지보수 및 확장이 쉽도록 제작되었으며, 학습효과와 관심을 높이기 위하여 미로게임의 경우 3D 기술을 활용하여 사실적으로 표현되었다.

Post-Processing for JPEG-Coded Image Deblocking via Sparse Representation and Adaptive Residual Threshold

  • The problem of blocking artifacts is very common in block-based image and video compression, especially at very low bit rates. In this paper, we propose a post-processing method for JPEG-coded image deblocking via sparse representation and adaptive residual threshold. This method includes three steps. First, we obtain the dictionary by online dictionary learning and the compressed images. The dictionary is then modified by the histogram of oriented gradient (HOG) feature descriptor and K-means cluster. Second, an adaptive residual threshold for orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) is proposed and used for sparse coding by combining blind image blocking assessment. At last, to take advantage of human visual system (HVS), the edge regions of the obtained deblocked image can be further modified by the edge regions of the compressed image. The experimental results show that our proposed method can keep the image more texture and edge information while reducing the image blocking artifacts.

  • The objective of this study, which applies the multiple-disciplinary approach to the developmental characteristics of children, is to study and develop a class model that can be applied to actual kindergarten classes in rural area. For this purpose, this study proposes teaching and learning methodologies for children based on English children's tales to help make the English education of children more effective and efficient. Based on the findings, the following suggestions should be considered for improving the English-education class model for kindergartners for rural areas: First, various activities based on the multiple-intelligence approach are important methods of children-oriented education advanced by the Sixth Children's Curriculum, helping children grow their independence and creativity. Second, various activities developed by this study on the basis of the multiple-intelligence approach to promote children's reading, listening, speaking, and writing abilities helped children improve their linguistic capacities, improve creativity, and remain motivated, which was reinforced by the differences found between the test group and the control group.

사용자 참여형 학교공간혁신의 교육적 효과 분석 - 인천광역시를 중심으로 - (Analysis of Educational Effect of User Participation School Space Innovation - Focused on Incheon Metropolitan City -)

  • The purpose of this study is to think about the educational effect of school space innovation project through user participation, to investigate and analyze the actual situation of user participation school space innovation project of elementary, middle and high schools of Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education, The educational effect was analyzed. After the students and teachers participated in the improvement of the school space, the students' skills were improved. Overall, emotional abilities were most cultivated, and elementary school students were most physically cultivated. The intimacy created by participation and activities and play-oriented projects may have helped to develop students' abilities. In addition, the school became fun after user participation, and there was a positive effect of increasing a sense of apathy and belonging. The expansion of user participation has resulted in not only the satisfaction of space but also the friendship and emotional part of students. As a result of this study, the school space constructed through the user participation process brought about significant educational changes in school life and individual quality of life in the learning activities and school life of teachers and students, the main users of the school space.

쿼드 어휘 트리를 이용한 장소 인식 방법 (Place Recognition Method Using Quad Vocabulary Tree)

  • 위치 기반 서비스(LBS; Location Based Service)를 위한 장소 인식 기술은 사용자 중심의 서비스를 위한 중요 기술 중 하나이다. 이미지 특징을 이용한 장소 인식 방법 중에서 FLANN(Fast Library for performing Approximate Nearest Neighbor)의 이미지 어휘 트리를 이용하면 처리 속도가 빠르지만 가려짐 등으로 인해 인식의 정확도가 높지 않다. 본 논문에서는 SURF(Speeded Up Robust Features)를 사용한 쿼드(quad) 어휘 트리 기반의 장소 인식 방법을 제안한다. 학습 단계에서 데이터베이스 이미지를 세 단계의 공간 피라미드로 표현하고 각 영역에 대한 어휘 트리를 구성한다. 질의 이미지도 세 단계의 공간 피라미드로 표현하고 각 단계별로 어휘 트리 기반 인식을 수행한다. 또한 매칭된 특징 간의 호모그래피(homography) 관계를 측정하고 이를 만족하는 영역의 개수를 고려함으로써 최종 인식의 성능을 향상시켰다.

  • According to the characteristics of elementary school students in favor of playing games, and to their high energy levels and physical growth states, it is fair to say that students can learn mathematics through 'game playing activities.' These activities are considered to intrigue their interest in class and make them feel less stress from the burden of studying mathematics. Mr. Skemp, who had conducted research on 'game activity' with experimental studies relating to elementary mathematics, recommends that math teachers try to give as many activity-oriented classes as possible to students. The method of 'game activity' by Skemp's operation deals with the whole range of mathematical themes. It is believed by other math teachers that this is not a way to substitute free time or just to have fun in class, but an intentionally well-organized way of learning an entire mathematical course during elementary school. In this research, 5th and 6th grade students needing extra classes after school had been exposed to 'ame activity' by Skemp's operation. As a result, we can figure out its influence on their understanding of arithmetic ability, and on the cognitive definition territory in their minds.

카메라-레이저스캐너 상호보완 추적기를 이용한 이동 로봇의 사람 추종 (Person-following of a Mobile Robot using a Complementary Tracker with a Camera-laser Scanner)

  • This paper proposes a method of tracking an object for a person-following mobile robot by combining a monocular camera and a laser scanner, where each sensor can supplement the weaknesses of the other sensor. For human-robot interaction, a mobile robot needs to maintain a distance between a moving person and itself. Maintaining distance consists of two parts: object tracking and person-following. Object tracking consists of particle filtering and online learning using shape features which are extracted from an image. A monocular camera easily fails to track a person due to a narrow field-of-view and influence of illumination changes, and has therefore been used together with a laser scanner. After constructing the geometric relation between the differently oriented sensors, the proposed method demonstrates its robustness in tracking and following a person with a success rate of 94.7% in indoor environments with varying lighting conditions and even when a moving object is located between the robot and the person.

영시 번역의 문제점에 관한 소고 (Some opinions on the problems of english poetry translation)

  • With the trend of globalization more people are absorbing in the English learning programs. Not a few attend even the English-Korean translation training course to be semi-professional translators, but we English teachers have already experienced that it is not so easy to translate any language into another, and that it is far more difficult to translate poetry. Much time has been devoted to investigating the problems of translating poetry than any other mode. Poetry translation theory is concerned with the problem of faithfulness to the original poetry. To be a good translator we must fully understand the sound and sense of the original work. But when in translating English poetry into Korean we feel keenly our limits of understanding the sound and style of English poetry, and of expressing them into Korean. Even our sense-oriented translation is far from satisfactory. We often make quite a few mistranslation. Another immediate problem is that of alternation between word-for-word translation and free translation method, but first of all, we should have a perfect knowledge and understanding in English, and a good command of our mother tongue. We should also have a sound interpretation ability because poetry translation is based on the interpretation of the original, and on the shaping of that interpretation. Some doubts have been raised over the feasibility of poetry translation. They say it is not possible to combine in another language the emotion, the form, the style, the musical devices of English poetry. Yet the art of translation has been practiced everywhere in the world. Through this art we can share our experience and culture with foreigners and theirs with us.

경호원의 기본기량 향상에 관한 연구 (A Thesis on the Improvement of Basic Skills of Body Guards)

  • The thesis suggests the proper ftaining methods and their future direction in order for bodyguards to have a general idea of basic skills of escort and develop them. What is meant by basic skills are the basic abilities of bodyguards for escort indluding physical strength, martial arts, and manipulation of equipment. The equipment in the thesis is confined to guns. The following are the requircments for the training of basic skills; 1, A bodyguard should be careful not to expose any equipment he uses his basic skills so that he does not make others feel uncomfortable. 2. He should be trained to give the safety of the person(s) escorted the first priority. 3. He should have the ability to take care of at least one attacker. 4. He should be trained to be able to evaluate the trend of attacks and keep up with it. Training fo basic skills are divided into three parts-physical training, martial arts and use of equipment. Each part is divided into basic training, applied training, and professional training, which again are integrated in one master training program. Especially, development of equipment which helps to take care of attacker(s) quickly without casualties and learning to use the equipment efficiently will accelerate the improvement of basic skills. The author of the thesis worked for Presidential Security Service for fourteen years and suggests the most efficient, protection-oriented way of training based on his experience.

  • 대한민국의 정보화 기술의 발전속도는 빠르게 성장하고 있고 IT기술은 세계최고의 수준으로 발전하였다. 특히, IT기술을 군사분야의 전쟁지휘체계에 접목하여 네트워크 중심의 작전환경을 구축하였다. 그러나 병무행정과 병영정보화는 많은 부분이 미흡한바 병영의무자와 부모에게 편익을 제공하고 군 복무간에 장병들이 온라인 체계를 이용한 학습여건 보장 등 IT시대에 부합된 병무행정과 병영정보화 기반체계를 발전시키고자 개선방안을 제시하였다.
