게임 교과목 교육을 위한 4PBL모델 제안 연구 (4PBL model proposal for education of Game Design)

  • 본 논문은 이론과 실기 교육, 학계와 산업계의 융합 교육을 지향하는 게임 교과목 교육의 효과적이고 체계적인 학습 방법론을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 특히 교수자 중심 교육에서 학습자 중심 학습 환경으로 변화하고 있는 시대적 흐름을 반영하여 4PBL 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 4PBL 모델은 학습 접근 방식을 기반으로 하는 3P 모델과 문제기반학습(Problem based Learning) 방법론을 보강, 발전시킨 모델로 개인지(Personal based Learning), 문제기반학습(Problem based Learning), 프로젝트기반학습(Project based Learning), 실행기반학습(Performance based Learning)으로 구성된다. 본고에서는 구체적인 게임 교과목 교육 사례를 들어 각 단계별 PBL의 개념과 특징을 설명하였다. 이와 같은 시도는 변화하는 교육 패러다임 속에서 게임 기획과 개발에 대한 지식을 주체적으로 구조화할 수 있는 학습 환경을 제시할 수 있다는 점에서 유의미한 가치가 있다고 할 수 있다.

Suggestions for E-Learning Based on Four Years of Cyber University Experience

  • E-Learning is widely introduced with cyber universities in Korea from 2001 whencyber universities were first authorized by the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development. E-learning amplified by cyber university gave a big impact in the campus based university which became the cause for the educational paradigm shift. The changes of status of cyber university shows important trend in college education which was analyzed by enrollment rate, types of cyber university, demography, and study areas. The enrollment rate of cyber universities is ever since 2001 and variety of study areas gives popularity to students. The demography of students is as expected older than traditional students. Female students at the cyber university outnumbered that at campus based university in Korea. For analyzing the trend of e-learning in Korea, there were studies twice in 2001 May-June from 213 faculty members and staff, 630 students and in 2004 May-June with 401 students. Most of e-learning students tent to spend less time yet, students feel more burden with e-learning. Professors tend to load more materials for the e-learning in 2001but in 2004 study, the difference no longer exists. Professors and students feel the academic achievement through e-learning is not as good as from the traditional classes. Difficulties for e-learning in 2001 were the lack of administrative information but in 2004, boring contents and lack of instructional strategies for e-learning. Technical problems still do exist but less serious. Suggestions for e-learning are blended learning, online students prefer video streaming with their own lecturer, new definition of instructor is needed, professional development for content development and online instruction is needed, success story of online learning should be encouraged, guidance for online students needed. The cyber university experiencegave a positive impact on the traditional universities such as rethinking the roles of universities, the quality control of classes, professional development, student oriented educational service of e-learning pedagogy.

탐구 지향 미분방정식의 개발 실제: 교수실험을 통한 접근 (An Inquiry-Oriented Approach to Differential Equations: Contributions to Teaching University Mathematics through Teaching Experiment Methodology)

  • During the past decades, there has been a fundamental change in the objectives and nature of mathematics education, as well as a shift in research paradigms. The changes in mathematics education emphasize learning mathematics from realistic situations, students' invention or construction solution procedures, and interaction with other students of the teacher. This shifted perspective has many similarities with the theoretical . perspective of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) developed by Freudental. The RME theory focused the guide reinvention through mathematizing and takes into account students' informal solution strategies and interpretation through experientially real context problems. The heart of this reinvention process involves mathematizing activities in problem situations that are experientially real to students. It is important to note that reinvention in a collective, as well as individual activity, in which whole-class discussions centering on conjecture, explanation, and justification play a crucial role. The overall purpose of this study is to examine the developmental research efforts to adpat the instructional design perspective of RME to the teaching and learning of differential equation is collegiate mathematics education. Informed by the instructional design theory of RME and capitalizes on the potential technology to incorporate qualitative and numerical approaches, this study offers as approach for conceptualizing the learning and teaching of differential equation that is different from the traditional approach. Data were collected through participatory observation in a differential equations course at a university through a fall semester in 2003. All class sessions were video recorded and transcribed for later detailed analysis. Interviews were conducted systematically to probe the students' conceptual understanding and problem solving of differential equations. All the interviews were video recorded. In addition, students' works such as exams, journals and worksheets were collected for supplement the analysis of data from class observation and interview. Informed by the instructional design theory of RME, theoretical perspectives on emerging analyses of student thinking, this paper outlines an approach for conceptualizing inquiry-oriented differential equations that is different from traditional approaches and current reform efforts. One way of the wars in which thus approach complements current reform-oriented approaches 10 differential equations centers on a particular principled approach to mathematization. The findings of this research will provide insights into the role of the mathematics teacher, instructional materials, and technology, which will provide mathematics educators and instructional designers with new ways of thinking about their educational practice and new ways to foster students' mathematical justifications and ultimately improvement of educational practice in mathematics classes.

평면도형의 넓이 지도에 대한 교사의 PCK 분석 (A Study of Teachers' Pedagogical Content Knowledge about Area of Plane Figure)

  • 본 연구에서는 평면도형의 넓이에 대한 교사의 교수학적 내용 지식(PCK)을 설문지와 수업 관찰을 통해서 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 다음과 같은 4가지 결론을 얻을 수 있다. (1) PCK의 '수학 내용 지식' 영역에서 교사는 넓이의 개념, 넓이와 길이의 속성 구분을 정확히 이해하고 배열구조를 지도의 대상으로 인식하여야 한다. (2) PCK의 '수학과 교수 방법 및 평가에 대한 지식' 영역에서 교사는 교과 목표를 넓이의 개념 이해와 공식의 이해를 균형적으로 설정하고 평가해야 한다. (3) PCK의 '수학 학습에 대한 학생 이해 지식' 영역에서 교사는 설명 위주의 오류수정 보다 넓이의 개념의 이해에 대한 활동을 제시해야 한다. (4) PCK의 '수학과 수업 상황에 대한 지식' 영역에서 교사는 교과서에 대한 주체적 의식을 가지고 교과서의 활동을 보완하여야 한다.

기계학습과 품질 메트릭을 활용한 객체간 링크결합강도 분류에 관한 연구 (Classifying a Strength of Dependency between classes by using Software Metrics and Machine Learning in Object-Oriented System)

  • 객체지향 설계는 상속 및 은닉과 같은 개념이 도입되어 소프트웨어 개발 생산성 및 품질 향상을 가져다 주었다. 하지만 소프트웨어의 크기가 커지게 되면 이를 구성하는 객체의 수가 증가하고 이에 비례하여 상속 또는 호출과 같은 객체간 결합관계가 증가한다. 또한 이러한 객체간 결합관계는 객체지향 소프트웨어의 복잡도와 밀접한 관계를 갖고 있는데 다수의 결합관계는 소프트웨어의 복잡도를 높이어 결국에는 소프트웨어 품질저하로 이어지게 된다. 그래서 소프트웨어 개발 분야에서는 컴포넌트 기반의 설계와 같은 방법을 통하여 객체간 결합관계를 명확히 함으로써 소프트웨어의 품질을 높이려는 노력이 진행되고 있다. 또한 객체 품질 메트릭을 정의, 산출하여 소프트웨어의 품질을 측정하고 이를 활용하여 높은 품질의 소프트웨어가 될 수 있는 방법들을 찾는 연구가 함께 진행되고 있다. 이러한 연구의 일환으로 본 연구는 컴포넌트와 같은 시스템 분해 관점에서 객체 상호간 결합링크 속성의 분석을 통하여 서브시스템 분해를 위한 기초자료를 구축하고자 한다. 이전까지의 연구들이 개별객체를 평가하고 수치화하여 이를 누적하는 방식이었다면 이번 연구는 소프트웨어 복잡도와 밀접한 관계가 있는 객체간 상호간의 링크결합관계를 분석 대상으로 선정하고 객체간 링크의 속성분석 및 결합강도 예측에 기계학습을 활용한 새로운 관점에서의 소프트웨어 분석 방법을 제안한다.

지식경영과 e러닝 통합의 성공요인에 대한 연구 - LG전자 사례를 중심으로 - (Critical Success Factors for Integration of Knowledge Management and e-Learning from LG Electronics Company's Experiences)

  • The LG Electronics case shows the process whereby an organization evolves as a learning organization through the integration of e-learning and knowledge management. In other words, it shows the process whereby e-learning is recognized as an important means of solving a problem concerning actual worksite operations, as it became one of the daily activities in the organization. In terms of organizational learning, this process points to the fact that e-learning is emerging as the fastest and most effective means of transferring the internally shared value of a company. Recently, advanced corporations and organizations have been endeavoring to boost their internal and external customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, paving the way for changes in their organizational cultures, and establishing learning organizations through e-learning. Therefore, from an advanced viewpoint, e-learning within a company is not a simple system of transferring educational contents, but is a knowledge portal concept connected with knowledge management. To achieve this end, the organization is required to undergo changes that is, it should make the acquisition of learning possible through e-learning and a knowledge management system (KMS) in order to improve corporate performance. Since LG Electronics is utilizing e-learning as a strategic means to change the paradigm of corporate education, and, in particular, is attempting to integrate this with knowledge management, insights that will facilitate the understanding of the core success factors in and challenges to the integration of knowledge management and e-learning can be obtained through this case.

  • In its seventh revision to start in 2001, mathematics will have a new emphasis in the middle school curriculum. Mathematics subject is now composed of practical things in the use of mathematics. Also, the future of new generation, which has been known as the information age, places much focus on problem-solving in order to collect, analyze, synthesize, and judge various kinds informations. This demand of problem-solving ability is not only related with mathematical education but, along the entire educational process, its related to actual life. With this change of social structure, the importance of school education is increasing rapidly. Therefore, in order to grow abilities and create new knowledge, adapted this new method of self-oriented learning in groups to middle school 2nd graders for one year, the results were as follows : 1. Students developed their ability of the use of mathematical terms and signs correctly. 2. Students' mathematical knowledge and problem-solving ability improved as they had increased interest in mathematics. 3. Students' peership was enhanced through their communication and cooperative activities in groups during the class. 4. Students themselves were more willing to volunteer and participate during the class.

중학생의 자기효능감이 의복행동과 '의복 마련과 관리' 단원의 내용 활용에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Middle School Students' Self-Efficacy on Clothing Behavior and Contents Application of the Unit 'Preparing and Managing Clothes')

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the factor structure of self-efficacy, clothing behaviors, contents application of the unit 'preparing and managing clothes' and the effects of self-efficacy on clothing behavior and contents application of the unit 'preparing and managing clothes'. Questionnaires were administered to 201 girl students in middle school, living in the Daegu area. Frequency, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression were used for data analysis. The findings are as follows. Self-efficacy was composed of five factors, namely interpersonal skills, task performance skills, anxiety, planned performance, and challenging action. Clothing behavior was composed of five factors, namely pleasure, coordinated clothes, uniform preference, learning behavior, and fashion oriented. Contents application of the unit 'preparing and managing clothes' was composed of two factors, namely usefulness of lectures in general, and usefulness of Hanbok lecture. The effects of clothing behavior and contents application of the unit 'preparing and managing clothes' on each of the self-efficacy variables, like interpersonal skills, task performance skills, anxiety, planned performance, and challenging action were explained by factors such as pleasure, coordinated clothes, uniform preference, learning behavior and fashion oriented, and usefulness of lectures in general and usefulness of Hanbok lecture.

  • 급증하는 멀티미디어 전문가 수요를 충족시키기 위하여 대부분 대학에서 멀티미디어 강좌가 개설되고 있고, 수강자들의 사전학습이 증가하고 있으며, 컴퓨터를 활용한 이미지 편집 등의 분야에서 사전학습은 일반화되었다. 하지만, 대부분의 강좌에서는 전통적인 학습모형을 유지하고 있기에, 사전학습자들을 위한 특화된 학습설계가 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 논문은 멀티미디어 분야에서의 사전학습자들의 특성을 규명하고, 이들의 학습욕구를 지원하는 강좌의 설계와 교재의 특징을 제안한다. 이를 위하여, 교육공학에서 새로운 패러다임으로 논의되는 구성주의와 문제 중심 학습 개념을 컴퓨터그래픽 분야에 적용하였고, 이를 통한 멀티미디어 전문가 양성을 효율적으로 지원하는 대학 강의의 특징을 밝힌다.

제 7차 중학교 환경 교과서 내의 환경 기능 분석 (Analysis of Skills in Korean Middle School-Level Environmental Education Textbooks)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare Korean middle school-level environmental education(EE) textbooks. More specifically, these analyses and comparisons were designed to explore the extent to which environmental investigation skills were addressed in these EE textbooks (i.e., curriculum inclusion), as well as the manner in which these skills were to be taught and learned (i.e., instructional approaches). To analyze EE textbooks, the researchers developed a 'Curriculum Analysis Chart' that include six skill clusters and four instructional strategies. This analytic chart permitted the researchers to determine which skills were featured in selected textbooks, as well as which skill-oriented instructional strategies accompanied each of those skills. The chart was revised several times through pilot analyses. Using the final version of this chart, the researchers analyzed and then compared the three textbooks. This analysis indicated that the Korean middle school-level EE textbooks were designed to support conceptual learning and understanding of environment and environmental problems/issues (i.e., content-oriented), and were designed to support skill learning to a moderate degree. On the basis of textbooks analysis, the researchers offered several recommendations for future research, and for educational practices in EE.
