This study examined elementary mathematics teacher's guidebook to determine the inclusion level of 11 critical features of evidence based instruction. And the inclusion level of the features in teacher's guidebook were interpreted as 'Low', 'Middle' and 'High'. The results are as followings. First, The overall inclusion level of the features in teacher's guidebook is 'Middle' The inclusion level of the features in teacher's guidebook for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th were 'Middle' but for 5th and 6th were 'Low'. Second, the inclusion level of the features 'Clarity of Objective', 'Single Concepts and Skill Taught', 'Use of Manipulatives and Representation', 'Explicit Instruction', 'Provision of Examples for new concepts and skill', 'Adequate Independent Practice Opportunities' and 'Progress Monitoring' were 'Middle' The inclusion level of the features 'Review of Prerequisite Mathematical Skills', 'Error correction and Corrective Feedback' and 'Instruction of Strategies' were 'Low'. And discussed the results.
The purpose of this study is to explore and propose policy alternatives by examining students' educational experiences at Chungbuk National University (CBNU). Some of the outstanding research findings of the study as follows. Students at CBNU think that they are capable of team-working and utilizing internet while less so with foreign language skill. With regard to academic achievement, students responded that they have seen a relatively low outcome in foreign language competency. In terms of their job placement, CBNU students highly recognize their logical thinking skill, creativity, and activity, whereas lower satisfaction with social service, study abroad, and internship experience. For further development of the survey analysis, this study suggests additional items included to make a sophisticated analysis possible such as scholarship, part-time job, educational outcome. This is expected to allow researchers to tab into the effect of finance of CBNU students. More detailed information on students' characteristics also need to be added; collaborative learning, student faculty interaction, co-work with students from diverse background, etc., which would allow the analysis of the impact of extra-curricula activities.

The purpose of this study is to develop practical problem based lesson plans on youth's self management and to analyze it's effect self-leadership skill of middle school students. The contents of the middle school Home Economics Technology textbooks and new curriculum revised in 2007 were analyzed. Based on these analyses 6 practical problem based lesson plans on youth's self management were developed. The topics in the lesson plan were as follows: 'Improving Self Identity', 'Expressing Self', 'getting the Life Goals', 'Importance of Time Management', and 'Time Management Skills'. The second grade middle school students in Goyang City as an experimental group were taught by practical problem based lesson plans. After the experiment, the changes in self-leadership skills of students were analyzed using paired t-test. The significant improvements of self leadership skills such as communication skills, learning skills and group management skills were found in the experimental groups of students. Thus, the following conclusion is made that the practical problem based lesson could be one of the useful methods for students to develop self-leadership skill.

These days Taekkeon of Shin Han-Seong is newly rased as traditional martial which made up in the academic world. The reason why is that create new shaped Traditional Taekkeon which stipulate good points of systematize Martial Arts to register Song Duck-Ki Taekkyeon eleven figures's a piece of skills to cultural assets. This research show how Shin Han-Seong make up Taekkyeon to register to intangible cultural assets, and found next conclusion and meaning. First, skill organization of Song Duk-Ki Taekkeon that is only one modern Taekkeon's initiator have been transmitted for a piece of skills of playing figure which don't have regular system. But Taekkyeon which have regular system have been developed by Shin Han-Seong, finally Taekkyeon is approved to intangible cultural assets. Second, Shin Han-Seong modernized Taekkyeon by borrowing training system of Judo, Fencing, Hapgido, Taekwondo, Karate. But people criticize that Song Duk-Ki Taekkeon is not initiate with original thing. Third, Shin Han-Seong made the grade classification and practical technique screening, Bon-Dae Buigi Twelve part like Pomse of Taekwondo (there is no for traditional Taekkyeon). And he contributed to popularization and modernized learning system by pursuiting sportization. Through this research geared up Taekkyeon's original shape and generational outline about skill transition or composition. And it gave important data for understand about Taekkyeon controversy which scattered.

Basic nursing core skills are the essential skills required of nurses to effectively care for their patients. This study introduces an on-campus practicum using a mobile-based reflective journal, and attempts identify the challenges faced by students when performing core clinical nursing skills. The on-campus practicum was operated based on Kolb's experiential learning cycle. For each class, students used mobile devices to write an online reflective journal. Analyzing contents of the reflective log helped in identifying difficulties experienced in executing core skills, and classifying them in terms of knowledge, skill, and attitude. The level of difficulty, importance, and confidence in the core clinical nursing skills were also assessed. Students were found to be struggling with various aspects of performing core nursing skills, especially in the skill category. Students also showed a lack of confidence in items they perceived as "high" difficulty, such as IV injection and indwelling catheterization. Moreover, over 50% students considered IV injection and vital sign checking as the most important core clinical nursing skills. Our data suggests the necessity to develop various contents and apply instructional strategies to solve the core skills difficulties faced by nursing students, and to continuously generate evidence for the same.

This paper aims to explore the factors of learner's flow and to develop and validate a scale to measure the flow in Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game(MMORPG) for education. First of all, potential factors were drawn through literature review. The potential stage comprises 6 factors(learner's psychological characteristics, learner's skill, importance of game, environment for learner, instructional design, and instructional environment) and 16 subfactors. With total 48 items developed. a survey was carried out among 293 elementary learners who had been participating in a commercial MMORPG for English skills to measure their flow in the MMORPG by utilizing the potential scale. Using the responses collected from 288 respondents, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis were performed. The expository factor analysis showed that items within each sub-factors could be bound into one factor. That is, the variables evaluating learner's flow were divided into six factors(learner's psychological characteristics, learner's skill, importance of game, environment for learner, instructional design, and instructional environment). And these factors were interpreted consisting of 16 sub-ones. Reliability estimates indicated that the evaluation tool had good internal consistency. The confirmatory factor analysis did confirm the model suggested by the expository factor analysis. Over fit measures(CFI, NFI, NNFI) showed the good suitability of the model. Findings of this study confirmed the validity and reliability of the scale to measure learner's flow in MMORPG.

The Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model was suggested for predicting probability of precipitation (PoP) using RDAPS NWP model, observation at AWS and upper-air sounding station. The prediction work was implemented for flood season and the data period is the July, August of 2001 and June of 2002. Neural network input variables (predictors) were composed of geopotential height 500/750/1000 hPa, atmospheric thickness 500-1000 hPa, X & Y-component of wind at 500 hPa, X & Y-component of wind at 750 hPa, wind speed at surface, temperature at 500/750 hPa/surface, mean sea level pressure, 3-hr accumulated precipitation, occurrence of observed precipitation, precipitation accumulated in 6 & 12 hrs previous to RDAPS run, precipitation occurrence in 6 & 12 hrs previous to RDAPS run, relative humidity measured 0 & 12 hrs before RDAPS run, precipitable water measured 0 & 12 hrs before RDAPS run, precipitable water difference in 12 hrs previous to RDAPS run. The suggested ANN has a 3-layer perceptron (multi layer perceptron; MLP) and back-propagation learning algorithm. The result shows that there were 6.8% increase in Hit rate (H), especially 99.2% and 148.1% increase in Threat Score (TS) and Probability of Detection (POD). It illustrates that the suggested ANN model can be a useful tool for predicting rainfall event prediction. The Kuipers Skill Score (KSS) was increased 92.8%, which the ANN model improves the rainfall occurrence prediction over RDAPS.
This study presents the leadership model that is to build of ethical and cultural leadership. The ideal ethical oughtfulness is to cares for people and the value of the cultural is to cherish the people's will. His leadership is to be balance and harmonized judgment of the ideal ethical oughtfulness and the cultural values by practice of virtues through relationship, process, and skill of leadership. Leadership relationship is a equal role relationship that are the children of the sky, thus to be coexistence and harmonyin close collaboration. Leadership process is a process of transvaluation to ensure the validity of the values by rational discussion and persuasion. Leadership skills led to active obedience through leading by example and love of learning. King Sejong' leadership is the leadership that ethical and cultural leadership become well-implemented.

The purpose of this study is to inquire the properties and relationship of attitudes toward science and process skills of preservice elementary teachers. Two instruments were used to collect the data, SAS(Science Attitude Scales) for checking up attitude toward science and TIPS II(Test of Integrated Process Skill II) for inspecting science process skills. Three main results were revealed. First, preservice elementary teachers' the attitude toward science and science process skills could not show the significant differences by gender. This result is differ from the results of preceding researches which had set up the students of elementary, middle and high school as objects. Second, the properties of preservice elementary teachers' the attitude toward science and science process skills according to the course in high school were also differ from those of preceding researches having students as objects. The preservice elementary teachers who got the literary courses in high school were more confident in science learning and perform that those who have the academic background of science courses in high school. In addition, although they showed better abilities in two sub-scales of science process skills, the preservice teachers with science course didn't show the better science process skills than those who had taken the literary course in total score of science process skill test. Third, there was a significant relationship between attitude toward science and science process skills of preservice elementary teachers but just one sub-scale was related with science process skills. According to these results, it can be said that the preceding results with students as objects can not be applied to and preservice elementary teachers should be guided by the methods which are considering their special properties.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the level-differentiated laboratory activities suggested by the 7th national curricula compared to the in-depth level activities only and supplementary level activities only. Two hundred 7th grade students attending a coed middle school were selected for this study and divided into three groups; level-differentiated, in-depth, and supplementary group. In each group, the students were subdivided into the in-depth level and the supplementary level by the formative test after completing the basic learning course. The in-depth and the supplementary laboratory activities were developed and engaged to the respective students in the level-differentiated group for one semester, while only the in-depth activities were engaged to the in-depth group and only the supplementary activities were engaged to the supplementary group. To examine the effects of treatments, the science knowledge test and the inquiry process skill test were administered before and after treatments and the students' opinions about the level-differentiated instruction were surveyed. The results showed that there were significant differences in the science knowledge achievements between the groups while no significant difference was found in the inquiry process skills. Post hoc analysis showed these differences were found between the level-differentiated group and the supplementary group. After the activities, most students in the level-differentiated group responded positively on doing level-differentiated activities except a few students in the supplementary level, These results justify the effectiveness of the level-differentiated laboratory activities compared to the supplementary only laboratory activities in middle school science classes.
