With the recent advances in information and communication technology, online management of students' learning data has become the norm. Research on learning analysis that predicts the near future (in a few years) of students' careers using machine learning methods and state transition models has been widely conducted. It is important for educators to evaluate the comprehension stability of students to prevent a decrease in their comprehension rate and dropouts in the class. In this study, we measured the comprehension process of university students in different types of lectures. Herein, we report on the results of data analysis using time series and data statistics, and consider several educational approaches.

This paper shows that novel engineering (NE) is a creative learning process (CLP) based on Seymour Papert's constructionism. First, the paper introduces NE, CLP, and constructionism. Next, a sample NE lesson is explored. NE is an innovative way of integrating literacy into an engineering discipline that was developed by the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach (CEEO) at Tufts University. NE consists of seven steps: picking a book, identifying problems, designing solutions, building, feedback, upgrading solutions, and reconstructing stories. Lifelong Kindergarten by Mitchel Resnick of the MIT Media Lab describes CLP, and the four elements necessary for a lesson to be creative. NE can be viewed as one of the most creative, comprehensive learning models ever developed. NE integrates several paradigms in Korea, following all the constructs of both CLP and constructionism. The aim of this paper is to show that NE is based on both CLP and constructionism.

Recently, artificial intelligence(AI) has been used throughout society, and social interest in it is increasing. Accordingly, the necessity of AI education is becoming a big topic in the education field. As a response to this trend, the Korean education authorities have also announced plans for AI education, and various studies have been performed in academic field to revitalize AI education in the future. However, the curriculum research on what differentiates AI education from existing SW education and what and how to train AI is still in its infancy. In this paper, Therefore, we focused on the experiences of elementary school students in solving problems in their own lives, and developed a teaching-learning model based on design-based research so that students can design a problem-solving process and experience the process of feedback. We applied the developed teaching-learning model to the problem-solving process and confirmed that it increased students' understanding and satisfaction with AI education.

Most of the online learning systems provide information that is based on the item difficulty what is custumized to learner. And the same learning process is performing to the same learning level learners. But, the degree of understanding of the same learning contents can be different even if the learner's level is same. Therefore, it is difficult to represent an effective learning experience because the learning is progressed by the determined difficulty of learning and the learning process even thought the provided content is difficult to understand. So we can control the learning difficulty during learning in order to escape from a uniform learning that online learning is provided. In this paper, we proposed a contents reorganization method for Self-Directed Learning. In this way, learners can understand their own level and customize the difficulty of learning. And then we expect the higher learning effect and satisfaction degree.

In this paper, we propose a Scorm-based Sequencing & Navigation Model for Collaborative Learning. It is an e-Learning process control model that is used to efficiently and graphically defining Scorm's content aggregation model and its sequencing prerequistites through a formal approach. To define a process based model uses the expanded ICN(Information Control Net) model. which is called SCOSNCN(SCO Sequencing & Navigation Control Net). We strongly believe that the process-driven model delivers a way of much more convenient content aggregating work and system, in terms of not only defining the intended sequence and ordering of learning activities, but also building the runtime environment for sequencing and navigation of learning activities and experiences.

The Goal of SW education is to improve computational thinking. Especially, non computer majors need to apply computational thinking to their problem solving in their fields after computational thinking class. In this paper, we verified what factors affect the improvement of computational thinking through mixed research method after teaching computational thinking to non major students. Also, we analysed the characteristics of initial learning transfer of computational thinking, and establish the reason about he validity and justification for non major in SW education. The result shows learning satisfaction, learning transfer motivation, and self-CT efficacy affect the perception about improvement of computational thinking. Also, we found that there is application of computational thinking was coming up with problem solving process because the initial learning transfer process of computational thinking has characteristics about concepts and practices of it in programming steps. The effectiveness and learning transfer process of computational thinking for non majors will give the validity and justification to teach SW education for all students.

In Web Based Instruction, as evaluation of learning process means individual student's learning activity, it demands data on learning time, pattern, participation, environment in a specific learning contents. The purpose of this paper is to reflect analysis results of individual student's learning status in achievement evaluation using the most suitable web log mining to settle evaluation problem of learning process, an issue in web based instruction. The contents and results of this study are as following. First, conformity item for learning status analysis is determined and web log data preprocessing is executed. Second, on the basis of web log data, I construct student's database and analyze learning status using data mining techniques.

Purpose: In the Fourth Industrial Revolution, nursing education will change in a different way than before. The purpose of this study was to analyze characteristics of qualitative research on learning experiences for nursing students, and to suggest directions for nursing education geared to the needs of the future. Methods: An integrative review method was used. Based on Whittemore & Knafl's approach, five steps were applied. Results: Eleven papers met the selection criteria and had above average ratings in quality appraisals. Three characteristics related to the learning experiences of nursing students were derived: (1) overcoming difficulties in the learning process and concentrating on problem-solving, (2) improving self-efficacy through experiencing achievement in the learning process, (3) establishing nursing professionalism, (4) identifying the importance of self-directed and self-reflected learning, and (5) developing teamwork. Conclusion: This review found that various learning experiences were conducted for practical experience and learner-oriented learning. Nursing students overcame difficulties to achieve their learning outcomes, and developed their professionalism. Further study is required to comprehensively explore research including other countries, and the experiences of instructors.

Education is an intentional change of human behaviors. This change is implemented through the learning process of humans. The principles in the learning process and its psychological mechanism are based on learning theories. The objective insight about how they are related with school libraries as a basic organization supporting school education, what they can contribute and what their research methodologies are is a base for educational and academic research of school libraries. This study at first is to investigate learning and teaching theories for school libraries based on behavioral learning theories, cognitive learning theories and constructive learning theories which are general trends for learning theories. Then it is to introduce new theory 'library-based education approach (LBEA)'as an educational base of school libraries.

In nursing, a practice discipline, it has been argued whether the mastery of clinical competence depends on types of learning styles, learning experience, and the use of specialized skills. All these problems are not limited to nursing education. Later educators identified the importance of reflective learning which is a vital element in any form of learning and that teachers and students need to consider how they can incorporate some forms of reflection in the courses. The purpose of this study is to review educational articles for understanding better what reflection in learning is, to identify the theme which is of important relevance to professional practice, from the book, Educating the reflective practitioner, and to discuss the theme within nursing education. Reflection in learning was defined by Dewey(1933) as the process which is involved the perception of relationships and connections between the parts of an experience. This experience is passed on when two people becoming involved with each other in a conversation. schon(1987) emphasized that learning conversation, which is a part of the interaction of student and teacher, is an important factor of the process of reflection-om-actopm. In clinical nursing education, good relationships between teacher and student, faculty's role, interpersonal skills are critical in learning conversation. Then Practing nurses who accept the need to choose nursing actionss on the basis of reflection, who accepet the necessity for understanding and being able to communicate the reasons for action are a powerfful force for the development of nursing into an increasingly more effective profession for the benefit of patients.
