One of the major issues in the field of corporate training and formal education is the support of personalized learning. Successful personalized learning needs the availability of the relevant learning contents at just-in-time for learners each. The competency is one of personal characteristics. So competency-based learning is one of the methods that fulfill the above need. Successful competency-based learning needs the method that recommends the relevant contents for the user's deficient competency based on the user's current competency and objectives. We assume that there exists a student information system that provides each user's competences and objectives as fields of a LIP/ePortfolio-compliant student information. This paper proposes an ontology-based system that, given the user's competences and objectives from the above student informaton system, recommends the relevant contents among a large number of educational contents using competency ontology and domain ontology. The advantage of this system can easily handle the change of competency map and terms related with competences in student information and education contents.

This study was conducted to provide implications so that teachers' voices are heard in the social consensus for future schools by exploring teachers' needs for future school spaces. A qualitative study was performed to listen to teachers' voices directly, and 10 teachers from "A" Elementary School (tentative name) participated in the study. The study 1) recognized the emergence of learning that transcends time and space, and emphasized the importance of an ICT-based informatization environment that can support such learning, 2) confirmed the characteristics of futuristic school spaces centered on "tradition" and "technology," 3) recognized the importance of learning community spaces, 4) emphasized "variable" classrooms for flexible teaching and learning activities, and 5) confirmed the need to introduce eco-friendly elements and provide support for those who may be vulnerable in high-tech learning environments. Finally, the study concluded that teachers need systematic education and experiences that contain sufficient important discourses related to future schools such as "eco-friendliness" and "connection with local communities".

The purpose of this study is to examine how pre-service teachers' digital capabilities and content knowledge for teaching pi appear and are strengthened in the process of developing digital-based teaching and learning materials of pi, and to derive implications for pre-service teacher education. To this end, the researchers analyzed the process of two pre-service teachers developing exploratory activity materials for teaching pi using block coding of AlgeoMath program. Through the analysis results, it was confirmed that AlgeoMath' block coding activities provided an experience of expressing and expanding the digital capabilities of pre-service teachers, an opportunity to deepen the content knowledge of pi, and to recognize the problems and limitations of the digital learning environment. It was also suggested that the development of digital materials using block coding needs to be used to strengthen digital capabilities of pre-service teachers, and that the curriculum knowledge needs to be emphasized as knowledge necessary for the development of digital teaching and learning materials in pre-service teacher education.

The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of teaching and learning in the era of science and technology. The conclusion is as follows: From the perspective of new materialism, the direction of teaching and learning first emphasizes the importance of learning experience. Second, a teaching method that emphasizes giving meaning is needed. Third, there is a need to consider various perspectives and backgrounds. The direction of teaching and learning in the era of phenomenology is, first, the meaning and meaning of learning is important. Second, it emphasizes the role of independent learners. Third, diverse experiences must be integrated. Fourth, a flexible approach is needed depending on the environment and situation. Rather than a fixed teaching method, it is necessary to use a variety of teaching strategies according to the situation and needs of the learner. From the perspective of actor network theory, the direction of teaching and learning needs to first embrace a variety of actors. Second, there is a need to understand the role of the mediator actor. Third, there is a need to emphasize the dynamic aspect of the network. Fourth, there is a need to emphasize interaction and giving meaning. Fifth, there is a need to strengthen interaction with technology. Sixth, there is a need to create a non-linear and open learning environment. The direction of society and teaching and learning presented in Trend Korea 2024 considers time as a precious resource in a divided society, and teaching and learning must adapt and develop in a useful direction in a changing environment.

This research was conducted to analysis the Elementary School Teachers' needs necessary for developing the eco-friendly school farm program. To perform these research problems, 167 people from five Elementary School group (A, B, C, D and E). Of respondents of the survey, 160 questionnaires were significant. The frequency analysis was used with SPSS 17.0 statistics program. Teacher of the needs analysis results are as follows: Teachers want to help school farm program by gardening expert, experienced volunteer. Costs of instructor and material must be supported by the government, local government. Teachers are demanding an integrated program for horticulture. The teachers would have preferred an easy plant to grow and appear in textbooks. Therefore teachers' needs to be a convert-gence in the eco-friendly school farm program manual.

Purpose: The study aimed to identity specific needs for services and programs to help childhood cancer survivors adjust and adapt to life after treatment. Methods: In-depth interviews were conducted with 31 childhood cancer survivors, diagnosed with cancer before the age of 18 and currently between 15 and 39 years of age. Each survivor had completed his/her cancer treatment. Results: The participating cancer survivors reported needs for services related to psychological counseling, schooling and learning, social skills, mentorship, integrated health management, self support activities, families of survivors, and public recognition and awareness. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate a need to better understand childhood cancer survivors, provides a basis for developing various services and programs to improve the quality of life among childhood cancer patients, survivors, and their families, and supports the importance of psychosocial adjustment.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing suicidal ideation in male baby boomers. Methods: This was a descriptive survey study. Data were collected from December, 2012 to June, 2013 from 194 participants. The instruments used included a suicidal ideation questionnaire, somatic symptoms scale, spiritual well-being scale, communication with spouse scale, and social support scale. Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: Suicidal ideation was influenced by learning needs on psychological coping, somatic symptoms, existential spiritual well-being, and communication with spouse. Somatic symptoms (${\beta}$=.39, p<.001), existential spiritual well-being (${\beta}$=-.20, p=.009), learning needs on psychological coping (${\beta}$=.16, p=.008), and communication with spouse (${\beta}$=-.15, p=.031) accounted for 37% regarding suicidal ideation in male baby boomers. Conclusion: We found an association of lower levels of existential spiritual well-being and communication with spouse, higher suicidal ideation. Higher suicidal ideation was also observed in people who had no learning needs on psychological coping compared with those who had. Based on the outcomes of this study, design of an intervention program that emphasizes existential spiritual well-being and communication with spouse is necessary in order to decrease suicidal ideation in male baby boomers.

In this paper, the needs and environment of the 'AI Convergence Education Method' were analyzed for elementary and secondary teachers, and based on this, teaching efficacy of informatics education was verified. For the research, elementary and secondary teachers who take the subject were selected, and based on the results of analyzing the general characteristics, pre-knowledge level, and needs of the subject, curriculum for 15 weeks was developed. As a result of verifying the teaching efficacy effectiveness of the developed 'AI Convergence Education Method' subject for 15 weeks, the effectiveness of the information education teaching efficacy was verified. Among the factors, there were statistically significant differences in information teaching values and information teaching strategies. In the future, it is necessary to conduct follow-up research to secure teachers' professionalism, such as linking with schools and convergence with other subjects. Various teaching and learning materials and teaching and learning methods such as educational contents and materials, reference literature, and artificial intelligence education platforms need to be prepared.

It is obvious that when see from our viewpoint which is defining e-Learning by one industry and rear by application to education as well as one new growth power about these, e-Learning industry becomes very important means that can solve dilemma of growth real form. Only, special quality of digital industry that e-Learning is being same with other digital industry and repeat putting out a fire rapidly, and is repeating sudden change that these evolution is not gradual growth of accumulation and improvement of technology that is appearing consider need to. In the meantime, we need to observe about evolution of Information Technology. Because there is some scholars who e-Learning's concept foresees to evolve by u-Learning.(although, a person who see that these concept is not more in marketing terminology by some scholars' opinion is). This u-Learning's concept means e-Learning that take advantage of ubiquitous technology as Ubiquitous-Learning's curtailment speech. Ubiquitous, user means Information-Communication surrounding that can connect to network freely regardless of place without feeling network or computer. There is controversy about introduction time regarding these direction, but e-Learning is judged to evolve by u-Learning necessarily. Because keep in step and age that study all contents that learner wants under environment of 3A (any time, any whrer, any device) by individual order thoroughly is foreseen to come in ubiquitous learning environment that approach more festinately.

This study analyzed on web services status of World Class College(WCC)'s Teaching and Learning Center. WCC refers to colleges equipped with educational environment which can accommodate the needs of industry and growth potential and vision. Web services of WCC's Teaching and Learning Center consist of center introduction, teaching support, learning support, service, and specialized menu. This study analyzed on menu and specialized web services from 9 colleges out of total 21 colleges. This study is to propose a way of Teaching and Learning Center's web services which college's Teaching and Learning Center aims at by analyzing on web services of World Class College's teaching and learning center.
