Abstract characteristic of algorithm may disturb improving learners' motivation and learning. Therefore, a design of teaching and learning method requires to minimize the learner's intrinsic cognitive load and to maximize the learning motivation. We developed an algorithm learning program by playing to enhance learning motivation and achievement for vocational high school students. And then, we implemented the developed program in vocational high school classes and analysed the educational effects of the developed program. We found that the developed program was helpful in enhancing learners' learning motivation and achievement level. It means that doing the activities, such as playing games, helps learners to acquire an algorithm concept that has abstract nature and is difficult to understand.
Auto-playing programs are often used in behalf of human players in MMORPG(Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Game). By playing automatically and continuously, it helps to speed up the game character's level-up process. However, the auto-playing programs, either software or hardware, do harm to games servers in various ways including abuse of resources. In this paper, we propose a way of detecting the auto programs by analyzing the window event sequences produced by the game players. In our proposed method, the event sequences are transformed into a set of attributes, and the Decision Tree learning is applied to classify the data represented by the set of attribute values into human or auto player. The results from experiments with several MMORPG show that the Decision Tree learning with proposed method can identify the auto-playing programs with high accuracy.

The game industry has grown steadily and the online game has become one of the most attractive game segments for its remarkable growth. Customer management in the online game industry, however, has received little attention from the academic field. The purpose of this study is to analyze the drivers of customer defection in the online game setting and suggest not only theoretical but also managerial insights into increasing customer retention rates. Prior to empirical analysis, the authors hypothesized that 3 variables of interests (Learning, Playing, Achievement) would explain the customer defection according to preceeding researches. To demonstrate these hypotheses, the authors obtained data from one of the biggest game publishers in Korea, and the empirical analysis model was developed considering context of research settings. The results of analyses provide the following insights. First, the key behavioral variables of Learning, Playing, and Achievement play substantial roles in explaining the customer defection. Next, the effects of these variables vary between customer types: novice and experienced customers. The defection decisions by novice customers are predicted by all key behavioral variables and Playing serves as the most influential indicator of the defection decisions. However, experienced customers are influenced by Playing and Achievement, while Learning has no impact on the defection decisions. Finally, the authors investigated hypothetical customer retention strategies, using the empirical results. The market outcomes indicate that the customer retention strategies work well with novice customers and it is hard-to-impossible to prevent experienced customers from defection using their behavioral data. These findings together deliver several meaningful insights to management as follow. First, the management should support customers to get involved in Learning activities at the very first stage. Second, customer's Achievement and appropriate compensation for it would work as defection barriers. Last, to optimize the outcomes of firm's marketing investments, it is better to focus on retention of novice users not experienced ones.
This study intends to analyze the importance of design on the basis of the children' emotion, by instancing the child-oriented furniture that contributes to the healthy growing and emotion-development of children. This means the reflection of the will trying to see the main point of design for the child-oriented furniture and it's possibility from another new standpoint. It will be understood how far the furniture influences the children and for that the furniture among others for the preschool children having playing & leaning functions is taken as an object of the study. The scope of study is the child-oriented furniture having playing & learning functions that has been presented for displaying as well as for a commercial use, since 2005. The attempt to find objective factors working positively for the emotion- & behavior development of children through seeking a new design of the child-oriented furniture for playing & learning is for emphasizing the importance of the emotional function, not only the primary function of furniture, at designing the child-oriented furniture. The combination between applications of the specialized material for child education & studies, therefore, has to be handled more importantly. The child-oriented furniture for playing & leaning that stimulates a healthy growing of child not only physically, also emotionally should be constantly and more deeply specialized on child education and design aspects.

This study is the second that aims at offering the basic information on the appropriate spatial organization of the special classes by looking at the relationship between a group of learning activities and a group of playing activities in Elementary and Middle Schools The learning space unit of the special classes should be more flexible for the various learning activities and be prepared in order to correspond to the needs of a territory for different learning appeared according to the degree of handicap, learning ability and the contents of learning. This study dealt with the learning space unit to tackle the problems of special classes. In fact, it is unwise to offer so many different kinds of learning spaces in every school. Due to the manifold and multiple characteristics of handicap, the problem of special classes should be approached by the overall educational system of special educational facilities rather than by a special classes space alone. In this respect, it can be said that this problem should be tackled by reorganization of the special classes in the community through specialization and network system of special class facilities in order to make more effective educational environment.

Generally, a Learning Games made based on Off-line. But Today, Web based learning has been used for many educational system by aid of the development of internet technique. If Off-line learning game serviced by On-line learning game, can provide learner with interesting and growing learner's study will. In this paper, I design the Mathematical of Elementary school Roll playing game for learning based on On-line. This is matched the point of On-line game with the point of Learning. A Learner's mathematical technic will be improve by The Mathematical On-line Roll playing game for Elementary school student. A student's ability of self directed learning and solving problem is expended too.

In this study, we investigated the influences of the role-playing analogy in chemistry concept learning on mapping understanding and mapping errors by analogical reasoning ability level. Seventh-graders (N=151) at a middle school were assigned to the comparison group and the experimental group. The students of the experimental group were taught with the 'running in the circle' role-playing analogy. After the students were taught about 'the relation between volume and pressure of gas', the test of mapping understanding in the next class and the retention test four weeks later were administered. The students with typical mapping errors were also interviewed to investigate their mapping processes. The results revealed that the role-playing analogy in chemistry concept learning improved mapping understanding and its retention regardless of analogical reasoning ability level. It was also found that the students in the experimental group had fewer mapping errors than those in the comparison group. However, there were similar patterns of mapping errors in both groups, and there were no significant differences in the frequencies of each type of mapping errors by analogical reasoning ability level. Educational implication of these findings are discussed.

An intelligent game has been studied for some time, and the main purpose of the study was to win against human by enhancing game skills. But some commercial games rather focused on adaptation of the user's behavior in order to bring interests on the games. In this study, we are suggesting an adaptive reinforcement learning algorithm, which focuses on the adaptation of user behavior. We have designed and developed the Othello game, which provides large state spaces. The evaluation of the experiment was done by playing two reinforcement learning algorithms against Min-Max algorithm individually. And the results show that our approach is playing more improved learning rate, than the previous reinforcement learning algorithm.
In order to organize various places for science experience study, this study gathered and analyzed prior research on science experience study and various science experience perated in school. To that end, a total of 162 relevant prior studies of literature published from 2000 to 2016 were collected and 2,201 cases of science experience study conducted in 2015 were collected and analyzed. The place where the science experiential learning was done is divided into three areas of natural ecology, cultural history, facility experiential learning study, and the characteristics of participating subjects are examined. In terms of the number of articles published in the field of science-related experiential learning areas, 83 ecological experience study sites (51.2%), facilities institution experience study sites 56 (34.6%), and cultural history experience study books 23 (14.2%). Through this study, it was found out that research tendency to analyze science - related attitudes became prominent by setting study subjects using natural objects around and learning to play while playing and playing in nature. There was also an analysis by subjects of participation in science related experience learning centers. Cultural history experiential learning field was significantly lower than previous studies. In the lower grades, nature ecological experience learning was mainly performed. Combining the above findings, it can provide implications for the development of science-related experience activities. First, it is necessary to develop a technology-related experience learning center using local community resources. Second, it is necessary to expand the culture and history experience learning center related to science. Third, we need an education support center to support the expansion and operation of such a technology-related cultural history learning center.

In this paper, we introduce a method for automatically generating accompaniment music, according to user's input melody. The initial accompaniment chord is generated by analyzing user's input melody. Then next chords are generated continuously based on markov chain probability table in which transition probabilities of each chord are defined. The probability table is learned according to reinforcement learning mechanism using sample data of existing music. Also during playing accompaniment, the probability table is learned and refined using reward values obtained in each status to improve the behavior of playing the chord in real-time. The similarity between user's input melody and each chord is calculated using pitch class histogram. Using our method, accompaniment chords harmonized with user's melody can be generated automatically in real-time.
