Those students with ability and interest in science should be supported to develop their potential and to reach high levels of achievement in science and technology. In order to ensure that gifted pupils are able to enhance their creativity as well as research abilities, appropriate learning programs and environments are essential. One of the various teaching and learning models for the gifted in science is the discovery learning model based on inductive science activities. There is a clear line of continuity between knowledge discovery at the forefront of research and student's learning activities. If students receive excellent training in organizing scientific concepts for themselves, they will be able to skillfully apply appropriate scientific concepts and solve problems when facing unfamiliar situations. It is very important to offer an appropriate learning environment to maximize the learning effect whilst, at the same time, understanding individual student's characteristics. In this study, the authors took great pains to research effective learning environments for gifted science students. Firstly, appropriate classroom learning environments thought by the teacher to offer the most potential were investigated. 3 different classes in which a revised teaching and learning environment was applied in sequence were examined. Inquiries were conducted into students' activities and achievement through observation, interviews, and examination of students' worksheets. A Science Education expert and 5 elementary school teachers specializing in gifted education also observed the class to examine the specific character of gifted science students. A number of suggestions in discovery learning classes for elementary students gifted in science are possible; 1) Readiness is essential in attitudes related to the inquiry. 2) The interaction between students should be developed. A permissive atmosphere is needed in small group activities. 3) Students require training in listening to others. In a whole class discussion, a permissive atmosphere needs to be restricted somewhat in order to promote full and inclusive discussion. 4) Students should have a chance to practice induction and abduction methods in solving problems.
The primary purpose of this study was to develop a college adjustment program for freshmen through admission officer system that relies less on test scores and on the various talents evaluated by admissions officers. To help these talented students adjust the new life of the university and enhance their gifts, a college adjustment program was developed with their special needs and characteristics. For that, the survey with 57 students and in-depth interviews with 12 students were conducted. The results revealed that the students wanted to learn study skills, self-management, global mind setting, and life vision and goals setting. Most of the students were worried about their grades because they entered the school with their talents and experience in diverse activities not SAT scores. To promote their academic performance, this program consisted of an academic readiness program which complements students' abilities in primary subjects like math, English, and science, and a potential progress program which is peer-group learning communities based on their own interests like global learning communities, creative learning communities, and service-learning communities. This program was suggested in the context of Comprehensive Development Model. To carry out the program systematically, related organizations and colleges should collaborate with each other.
Purpose: This study is aimed to map the provinces in Indonesia based on the education and ICT indicators using several unsupervised learning algorithms. Research design, data, and methodology: The education and ICT indicators such as student-teacher ratio, illiteracy rate, net enrolment ratio, internet access, computer ownership, are used. Several approaches to get deeper understanding on provincial strength and weakness based on these indicators are implemented. The approaches are Ensemble K-Mean and Fuzzy C Means clustering. Results: There are at least three clusters observed in Indonesia the education quality, participation, facilities and ICT Access. Cluster with high education quality and ICT access are consist of DKI Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Riau Islands, East Kalimantan and Bali. These provinces show rapid economic growth. Meanwhile the other cluster consisting of six provinces (NTT, West Kalimantan, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, North Maluku, and Papua) are the cluster with lower education quality and ICT development which impact their economic growth. Conclusions: The provinces in Indonesia are clustered into three group based on the education attainment and ICT indicators. Some provinces can directly implement e-learning; however, more provinces need to improve the education quality and facilities as well as the ICT infrastructure before implementing the e-learning.

Trustless, depression, happiness is a normal human emotion that everyone experiences at times. People face problems and hard circumstances every day due to an environment, social life, or traumatic developments in their lives. This study focused on a particular type of inconsistency patterns of behavior that experiences' students during the school time. Some students find depression interferes with their learning and test taking to such an extent that their grades are seriously affected. This study examined the awareness and readiness of a sample of Saudi Arabian high school teachers to recognize, understand, and respond to the ways in which students may respond to testing situations with depression. Findings suggest teachers learn from experience to use both direct and indirect ways to identify students with depression; employ test preparation and test taking strategies to help students reduce depression; and reach out to parents for additional assistance where teacher strategies are not sufficient.
본 연구는 창업기업을 대상으로 QFD(Quality Function Deployment) 교육 훈련 프로그램의 훈련 성과에 관하여 연구하였다.
Purpose: This descriptive study was done to identify the academic achievement, self-directed learning (SDL), and critical thinking disposition (CTD) of nursing students according to their learning styles. The relevance of the research involves outlining the need for modern professionals to acquire new competencies. In the conditions of rapid civilizational progress, in order to meet the requirements of the labor market in the knowledge society, there is a readiness for continuous training as an indicator of professional success. The purpose of the research is to identify the impact of various forms of application of information technologies for lifelong learning in order to provide the continuous self-development of each person without cultural or age restrictions and on the basis of rapid digital progress. A high level (96%) of need of the adult population in continuing education with the use of digital technologies has been established. The most effective ways to implement the concept of "lifelong learning" have been identified (educational camps, lifelong learning, mass open online courses, Makerspace activities, portfolio use, use of emoji, casual game, scientific research with iVR game, implementation of digital games, work in scientific cafes). 2 basic objectives of continuing professional education for adults have been outlined (continuous improvement of qualifications and obtaining new qualifications). The features of ICT application in adult education have been investigated by using the following methods, namely: flexibility in terms of easy access to ideas, solving various problems, orientation approach, functional learning, group or individual learning, integration of leisure, personal and professional activities, gamification. The advantages of application of information technologies for continuous education (economic, time, and adaptive) have been revealed. The concept of continuous adult learning in the context of digitalization has been concluded. The research provides a description of the structural principles of the concept of additional education; a system of information requests of the applicant, as well as basic technologies for lifelong learning. The research indicates the lack of comprehensive research in the relevant field. The practical significance of the research results lies in the possibility of using the obtained results for a wider acquaintance of the adult population with the importance of the application of lifelong learning for professional activities and the introduction of methods for its implementation in the educational policy of the state.
The purpose of this study is to construct the "open" instructional model that might be used properly in mathematics classroom. In this study, the core philosophy of "openness" in mathematics instruction is looked upon as the transference itself from pursuing simply strengthening the function of instruction such as effectiveness in the management of educational environment into the understanding of the nature of mathematics learning and the pursuing of true effectiveness in mathematics learning. It means, in other words, this study is going to accept the "openness" as functional readiness to open all the possibility among the conditions of educational environment for the purpose of realizing maximum learning effectiveness. With considering these concepts, this study regards open mathematics education as simply one section among the spectrum of mathematics education, thus could be included in the category of mathematics education. The model for open instruction in mathematics classroom, constructed in this study, has the following virtues: This model (1) suggests integrated view of open mathematics instruction that could adjust the individual and sporadic views recently constructed about open mathematics instruction; (2) could suggest structural approach for the construction of open mathematics instruction program; (3) could be used in other way as a method for evaluation open mathematics instruction program.thematics instruction program.
