본 연구는 전문대학생을 대상으로 학습과 관련된 요인인 전공계열, 성취도, 학년에 따라 학습양식 및 학습전략에 차이가 있는지, 학습양식에 따라서도 학습전략에 차이가 있는지 연구하였다. 우세한 학습양식 중심으로 차이를 분석했던 선행연구들과 달리, 학습양식을 균형적, 우세한 학습양식으로 세분화하였다. M전문대학의 179명을 대상으로 분석한 결과, 학습요인에 따른 학습양식과 학습전략의 차이는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학습양식에 따른 학습전략 활용수준에서는 정보입력 차원에서 학습양식에 따라 인지전략 활용에 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 정보처리 양식에 따라서는 모든 전략 활용에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 활동적 학습자는 인지전략 활용수준이 높았고, 시각적 학습자는 외적전략 활용수준이 높았으며, 정보를 이해할 때 균형적 학습자는 내적전략 활용수준이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 연구결과에 따라 학습지원 프로그램을 통해 학습양식을 이해하고 이에 따라 학습전략 활용수준을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다.

학습자 능력 중심의 교육으로부터 학습자 중심적인 교육의 필요성과 학습자간의 협동 활동의 의미가 점차 증대되고 있다. 프로젝트 교육 시스템은 학습자와 학습자 및 학습자와 교수자의상호 참여를 통하여, 수행하게 될 직무를 이해하고 능력의 점증적인 발전을 도모하게 된다. 시대적 요구에 부응하여 컴퓨터 및 인터넷이 대중화되어 가는 시점에서 프로젝트 수행을 효율적으로 진행할 수 있으므로 본 논문에서는 산업체의 업무 처리 체계를 실현 목표로 한 프로젝트 교육 학습체계를 제시한다.

The purpose of the study is to develop effective teaching methods to strengthen the major learning capabilities of electronic engineering learners through inquiry learning using computing thinking ability. To this end, first, in the electronic engineering curriculum, we performed teaching-learning through an inquiry and learning model related to mathematics, probability, and statistics under the theme of various majors in electronic engineering, focusing on understanding computing thinking skills. Second, an efficient electronic engineering subject inquiry class operation using computing thinking ability was conducted, and electronic engineering-linked education contents based on the components of computer thinking were presented. Third, by conducting a case study on inquiry-style teaching using computing thinking skills in the electronic engineering curriculum, we identified the validity of the teaching method to strengthen major competency. In order to prepare for the 4th Industrial Revolution, by implementing mathematics, probability, statistics-related linkage, and convergence education to foster convergent talent, we tried to present effective electronic engineering major competency enhancement measures and cope with innovative technological changes.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among the factors that affect technology knowledge, learning strategies with technology, and academic self-efficacy of college students. Technology and its utilizing ability is a critical competency for the learners to acquire to live in the Digital Era of 21st century. However, little is known about how the competency involving technology affects academic self-efficacy. To address the aim of the study, a survey was conducted with 39 questions including technology knowledge, learning strategies with technology, and academic self-efficacy targeting 137 students in A university. The result of the structural equation modeling shows that the technology knowledge of college students indirectly influences the academic self-efficacy. The learning strategies with technology are mediating variable linking technology knowledge with academic self-efficacy. Technology knowledge explains 71% of variance in learning strategies with technology. Therefore, college students need to keep up with knowledge of technology and improve learning strategies with technology to activate academic self-efficacy.

In the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, creative ideas are creating enormous value. This study conducted a case study on curriculum management plans aimed at protecting ideas and their results, recognizing the importance of intellectual property (IP), and cultivating basic knowledge about intellectual property. In particular, this study looked at ways to quickly learn related issues regarding new intellectual property rights related to computer software and artificial intelligence. In addition, research was conducted on ways to learn about efficient protection and utilization of inventions through actual examples. This study checked the importance and necessity of the interaction and communication between instructors and learners through the status of distance learning in domestic universities and a case study of distance learning of convergence subjects. We aim to continuously research effective class management methods and contribute to academic development through case studies of convergence subjects.

This study is a model study on the contents and methods of intercultural learning. Starting with a discussion of the intercultural learning model construct, it presents key contents important for intercultural learning and learning methods that can increase the effectiveness of intercultural learning. Also, we actually conducted the above learning program at the learning site and discussed the observations and results. It was a case study that allowed us to test the effectiveness of cultural intelligence theory, the latest theory that can improve intercultural competency. In addition, in order for the cultural intelligence theory to be effective in the learning process, it was found that the PBL method, which allows learners to solve problems on their own, rather than cramming education, is useful. Additionally, it was found that the ARCS model was also very effective in motivating and maintaining learners' continuous motivation. At this time, the instructor was also able to see that the effect increases when the role of catalyst becomes the main one.

Graded reading is to match reading competency of readers with difficulty levels of text, based on the study of readability. This article discusses how to apply new media to develop Chinese graded reading materials which are more interesting, scientific and practical than traditional paper materials. The graded materials on the new media platform can be used for Chinese second language learners to self-study, and also for instructors to support reading and writing instruction in class or after class.

Nurses in today's challenging health care settings need to be skilled critical thinkers and clinical experts. The nurse must be able to use a broad knowledge base to mobilize resources, coordinate actions and evaluate outcomes in complex new situations. So the national licensing examination for registered nurses is change to improve the quality of professional competency of nurses in Korea. Prior to this, learning objectives should be developed and improved periodically. The purpose of this study is to describe the nursing competency to provide base line data for developing learning objectives in adult health nursing. This study was conducted by means of a questionnaire which was developed by the researcher after reviewing the literature. The questionnaire was based on learning objectives which were developed by a nation-wide nursing faculty majoring in adult health nursing. The subjects were 45 nurses in a middle level hospital. The collected data were treated using SPSS Win 7.5 Statistical Package so as to obtain such descriptive statistics as mean score, frequency, and to test reliability test, nonpar-Friedman test. To summarize the major findings in this study, it showed the scope of nursing competency and can guide the direction of study and methodological criteria to develop learning objectives. Recommendations for further research are: firstly, it is necessary to state learning objectives with learners' behavioral terminology; secondly, to overcome locality in scope of this study, there is a need to analyze with nation-wide sampling by an in-depth statistical analysis; thirdly, because the subjects of this study are mostly three-year graduate nurses, there is a need to compare this study with other studies of different subjects.

The purpose of this study was to analyze two subject competencies (practical problem-solving capability and independent life capability) reflected in the activity tasks included in the 'home life and safety' area of 12 middle school technology-home economics textbooks in accordance with the 2015 revised curriculum. The analysis criteria were sub-elements of two subject competencies. Seven sub-elements were derived from each competency. Frequency analysis was performed to determine how often the sub-elements were reflected in the activity tasks. The results were as follows. First, with regard to the sub-elements of 'practical problem-solving capability', 'value judgment' was reflected most frequently in the activity tasks followed by 'exemplification of solution', 'logical thinking', 'critical thinking', 'decision-making', 'practical reasoning', and 'evaluation of solutions'. Secondly, the sub-elements of 'independent life capability' were unevenly distributed in the activity tasks. The 'capability to perform conscious living' was reflected most frequently followed by 'development and self-identity', 'time, money, and leisure management', and 'reasonable consumption and resource utilization'. For teachers wanting to teach activity-oriented classes and student participatory classes, the results pinpoint the materials necessary to develop learners' subject competencies by using textbooks from different publishing companies.

The 2015 revised national science curriculum encourages students to cultivate the science core competencies such as scientific thinking, science process skills, scientific problem-solving ability, scientific communication skill, scientific participation and lifelong learning ability. To fill this purpose, we practiced science writing classes based on core competencies and examined the effect of its application. The target unit was 'weather and our life', 'acid and base', 'speed of an object', and 'structure and function of our body' in the fifth grade of elementary school. The results were as follows. First, it was proven that science writing activities based on core competencies did not help improving science process skills of learners. Second, it had a significant effect on the improvement of the learner's self-directed learning ability, in particular, owner spirit, meta cognition and information search. Third, this strategy for science writing changed learners' scientific attitude positively. The above-mentioned results show that this science writing classes can be applicable as one of effective methods in cultivating science core competencies.
