The purpose of this study is to explore the educational potential of digital story telling in Second Life with three-dimensional virtual reality. Virtual reality such a Second Life can provide to learner chance with the rich learning environment through fidelity. In this study, we have been measured the fun and comprehension among three groups on digital storytelling types. Through the result of experimental, comprehension was no significant but fun was different among three groups on storytelling. we have the result that experiential activity in virtual reality that provide to get the identification as a main character, good environment is influenced the fun to learner via engagement facilitation.

In order to measure students' fun and the effectiveness of teaching materials related to computer science theory, this paper conducted an experiment lesson against middle school students using Timbel's 'Unplugged' textbook. A preliminary test was conducted and it revealed that the students' understanding of computer science theory was extremely poor. The learner's fun for the experimental lesson showed the positive reaction in the viewpoint of expectation, engagement, endurability. In post-test after one month, the students were able to recall most of the materials covered during the experiment lesson. In addition, they all showed sign of good understanding. In conclusion, Timbel's textbook proved effective in increasing students' fun and learning ability related to computer science theory. Furthermore, this paper would like to suggest a new type of Informatics science teaching material that might be essential for future computer science education.
Gamification can be more fun and interesting than boring and it can be used for variety of educational subjects. Through the fun and flow of the learner, the learner understands the meaning and context of the problem to be solved. It will be able to collect, analyze and creatively solve data in a way that computers understand. Training through gamification will be an effective and memorable coding education for the efficient learning of coding education among the newly designated compulsory education. It is considered to be highly useful as a convergence study to increase tourism experience. Currently, in the field of school, coding education is mainly conducted using entry and scratch, which are educational programming languages, and coding education using gamification is not extensively used in the current education field. It is also expected to be used to increase the tourism experience, and it can be used to enhance the learner's computational thinking ability and creativity.
Online games are getting more popular among today's fun-seeking young students. The immersive power of these Internet-based games is so strong that many educators consider the integration of the games and learning to enhance learner motivation. However, the online games, which are primarily aiming g for 'fun', have cognitive, emotional, and social features and impacts that are different from the so-called 'educational' games. Therefore an interdisciplinary approach for better understanding of the online game in regard to its impact on learning and fun should be essential. In this study, the researcher will analyze relevant literature and theories from cognitive psychology, media and communication theory, and Ludology to grasp holistic understanding of online game phenomena, which will serve as basis of further research and development in this emerging area.
A variety of educational digital contents are provided for both distance and on-line learning on the Internet recently. Especially, as edutainment fields are activated, fun-centered educational contents are improved so much. But it is still lack of high quality, which could lead a learner to study by himself without losing enjoyment for an appropriate duration (about $1{\sim}2$ years). A system, which enforces learning motivation for a learners positive learning, is demanded. This paper shows the planning and the implementation of learning Reward System (LRS) which is providing rewards a learner for achievement of the teaming object which is suggested by him (her) and his (her) mentors. LRS is aiming at enhancement of educational effects by providing both amusements and rewards employing edutainment contents.

In this study, to improve educational motivation and learning outcomes, a mobile app using game elements was developed, and the effect of its application in rebar work education was analyzed. Using the 4F(Figure out-Focus-Fun design-Finalize) process, which is a game development model, a mobile learning app for rebar work was developed that considers the characteristics of college students familiar with smartphone use, and the app was developed in a manner that utilizes game mechanics such as learning missions and points to stimulate a learner's interest and improve educational motivation. The results show that the proposed app for rebar work is positively evaluated in terms of interface style, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, attitude toward using, and intention to use. Therefore, it can be concluded that using the learning game app for rebar work in classes can contribute to improving a learner's performance in various aspects.

Ubiquitous learning has aroused great interest and is becoming a new way for foreign language education in today's society. However, how to increase the learners' initiative and their community cohesion is still an issue that deserves more profound research and studies. Emotional intelligence can help to detect the learner's emotional reactions online, and therefore stimulate his interest and the willingness to participate by adjusting teaching skills and creating fun experiences in learning. This is, actually the new concept of smart education. Based on the previous research, this paper concluded a neural mechanism model for analyzing the learners' emotional characteristics in ubiquitous environment, and discussed the intelligent monitoring and automatic recognition of emotions from the learners' speech signals as well as their behavior data by multi-agent system. Finally, a framework of emotional intelligence system was proposed concerning the smart foreign language education in ubiquitous learning.
Zoom has been most popularly used as a non-face-to-face online class tool since COVID19, but due to the recent spread of the metaverse, the use of the metaverse platform is increasing. In particular, since a metaverse platform 'Spatial' provides online classroom creation and various learning functions, and various interactions between instructors and learners or learners and learners are possible, it is highly likely to be used in university classes. Since Zoom and Spatial each have their own strengths and weaknesses for the purpose of class use, it is necessary to find out the strengths and weaknesses of each by comparing and analyzing the learner's experience in class use. In this study, a quantitative analysis of usability, immersion, and satisfaction and a qualitative analysis of individual opinions were performed in order to compare and analyze the learner's experience. SUS (System Usability Scale) was used for usability evaluation, and Magnitude Estimation method was used for immersion and satisfaction evaluation. Thirty-five people who had participated in classes using Zoom and Spatial participated as subjects in this study. Zoom was higher than Spatial at the significance level of 0.05 in usability and satisfaction. On the other hand, the immersion in class was higher in Spatial than in Zoom. Since Spatial provides online classroom creation and various learning functions, and provides various interactions and fun elements between instructors and learners or learners and learners, the immersion in classes was high. If the user interface and interaction of Spatial are improved in the future, it is judged that it can be used as an effective online teaching tool that can replace zoom in university classes.
Today, changing to knowledge information society, creativity education is thought important in each educational institution according as the importance of creativity is emphasized more. But it focused on development of intelligence that put special stress on scholastic subject. Therefore, this paper wished to present direction of development of educational game that can develop creativity and synthetic ability to solve problem through learner's voluntary interest and participation. As a result, the researcher drew element of fun and component of storytelling of educational game that was based on design of leaning for development of creativity, a previous research, that was based on the concept of creativity and theory of multiple intelligence, and presented a development example with storyboard, interface design and element of graphic for the production of prototype of educational game, after design game structure.

The purposes of this study were to be free from the fixed instruction and help students have confidence in computer education and improve finding a solution voluntarily. The researcher designed the project instruction of UCC to enhance the community spirit through understanding the problems and solving those. The results of this study are as follows. First, learner changed their consideration in social education. They changed positively the thought about computer education: Form It is tedious and a memoriter subject.' to 'It's fun and good to do by ourselves. Second, students interested in UCC and doing it more actively. Especially, they enhanced the skill of using informations in both on and off-line and community spirit through helping each team members. This shows possibility and availability in not only social studying but also various adaption in other subjects. The researcher provides it would be better if this developed model should be practiced in school and examined the effectiveness in other aspects. lastly in other to examine its validity of enhancing problem-solving and effectiveness of interaction in community, the standard questionnaire and testing tools will be developed in the future.
