가맹본부의 리더십 유형과 가맹사업자의 매출과의 관계에 관한 실증적 연구 - 관계결속의 매개효과와 동기의 조절효과를 중심으로 - (An Empirical Study in Relationship between Franchisor's leadership style and Franchisee's revenue - Mediating Effect of Commitment and Moderating Effect of Motivation -)

  • 본 연구는 가맹본부의 리더십유형이 가맹점사업자의 월매출과 관계결속에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 살펴보고, 이들 리더십유형과 월매출간의 인과관계 속에서 관계결속이 매개적 효과를 갖는지와 리더십유형과 관계결속 간에 가맹점사업자의 동기요인이 조절효과를 갖는지를 실증적으로 분석하는데 주된 목적을 두었다. 분석결과를 보면 첫째, 리더십유형은 모두 가맹점이 매출에 유의한 영향력을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 가맹본부의 성취지향적 리더십유형이 가맹점의 매출에 가장 유의한 영향변수이면서 설명력도 가장 높았다. 셋째, 가맹점사업자의 내적동기는 가맹본부의 지원적 리더십유형과 관계결속 간에 유의미한 조절효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 리더십유형과 가맹점 매출 사이의 인과관계에 있어 관계결속의 매개역할에 대한 검증결과에서는 관계결속이 모든 유형의 리더십유형에서 부분매개 또는 완전매개 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로, 본 연구결과의 시사점과 연구의 한계가 제시되었다.

  • The article is devoted to current problems of the concept leadership. The essence of the concept of "leadership" is considered and leadership theories. The authors of the article conducted a multifaceted analysis of leadership theories, analyzed the factors of their formation and identified their relationship. Also, the reasons for the difference and connection between leadership and leadership. Styles were presented leadership and their role in building effective leadership. To form the basis of effective leadership was compared to the main criteria inherent in this theories. The following research methods were used in the work: theoretical (analysis of regulatory documents and scientific literature on the problem under study, comparison, generalization, modeling), empirical (diagnostics of the level of formation of managerial competencies of students of the system, questioning, observation, peer review, comparative qualitative and quantitative analysis of diagnostic results the level of formation of managerial competencies).

수간호사의 리더십 유형이 일반간호사의 직무만족도와 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Leadership of Head Nurses on Job Satisfaction and Job Performance of Staff Nurses)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the leadership of head nurses on the job satisfaction and job performance of staff nurses. The leadership styles of head nurses were classified to "authority-oriented" and "benevolence-oriented" based on korean traditional culture. The subjects of this study were 450 staff nurses working at medical-surgical units, intensive care units, emergency units of general hospitals in Kyungbuk area. Data were collected from March 13 to March 25 with several scales for the measurement of leadership styles of head nurses, job satisfaction and job performance of staff nurses. The Cronchbach alphas for the scales were. 79 in "authority-oriented" leadership style, 90 in "benevolence-oriented" leadership style, .91 in job satisfaction, .97 in job performance. Data were analyzed with SAS program using statistics of percentage, means, standard deviation, Pearson correlation, ANOVA and ANCOVA. The results were : 1. There were significant correlations between benevolence-oriented leadership style and job satisfaction, job performance of staff nurses(r=.24, p=.000 ; r=.12, p=.008), authority-oriented leadership style of head nurses and job satisfaction of staff nurses(r=.12 ; p=.024). 2. There were significant differences in job satisfaction of staff nurses by age and clinical career(F=10.36, p=.000 ; F=7.63, p=.000). Also there were significant differences in job performance of staff nurses by age, religion, marriage and clinical career(F=17.79, p=.000 ; F=2.89, p=.035 ; F=4.41, p=.036 ; F=14.33, p=.000). 3. There was significant differences in job satisfaction by the leadership style of head nurses. The job satisfaction of staff nurses with benevolence-oriented head nurses was higher than those with authority

수간호사의 리더쉽에 대한 수간호사와 일반간호사의 지각정도와 간호업무성과간의 관계 연구 (A Correlation Study on the Relationship between Nursing Performance and Leadership Style as perceived by Head Nurses and Staff Nurses)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify relationships between the nursing performance of staff nurses and the leadership styles of head as perceived by the head nurses and the staff nurses. The subject consisted of 33 head nurses and 200 staff nurses who were working at SNUH between July 1, and July 31, 1991. Leadership styles as perceived by head nurses and staff nurses were measured using an instrument adapted by Park (1988) . Evaluations of the nursing performance of staff nurses were done by head nurses utilizing a questionnaire adopted by Park(1988). Data were analysed using percentage distribution, ANOVA, Scheffe test and Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The results are summarized as follows : 1. The majority of the head nurses and staff nurses perceived the head nurse as having a tendency to exercise high level authority and benevolence oriented leadership. 2. The majority of the staff nurses carried out their nursing performance in a highly skilled manner. 3. There were significant differences in perceptions of leadership style between head nurses and staff nurses. 4. “Authority” and “Benevolence” in leadership style as perceived by the head nurses were related very weakly to the nursing performance of the staff nurse. 5. “Benevolence” of leadership style as perceived by the staff nurses was related very weakly to the nursing performance of the staff nurse. 6. Group comparisons of nursing performance and leadership style found that high nursing performance by the staff nurse was related in the group with high “Authority” as perceived by the head nurse and low “Authority” as perceived by the staff nurse. From the above findings, this study suggests the following : 1) Further studies are needed to control extraneous variables. 2) Efforts in leadership development are needed to enhance nursing performance. 3) Factor exploration study are needed to seek factors that contribute to the perception gap between the head nurse and the staff nurse.

간호 관리자의 리더십 유형이 간호사의 팀워크에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Nurse Managers' Leadership Styles on Teamwork among Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 팀워크를 결정하는 조직적 요인으로 간호 관리자의 리더십에 주목하여, 간호 관리자의 네 유형의 리더십이 간호사가 지각하는 팀워크에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. G시에 소재한 일 대학병원의 일반/책임 간호사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 187부를 최종 자료분석에 사용하였다. 다중 회귀분석 결과, 간호 관리자의 변혁적 리더십과 서번트 리더십, 윤리적 리더십이 높을수록 간호사 간의 팀워크가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 반면에, 간호 관리자의 거래적 리더십은 간호사 간의 팀워크와 유의한 관계가 없었다. 본 연구는 간호 관리자가 거래적 리더십보다는 변혁적 리더십, 서번트 리더십, 윤리적 리더십을 발휘하는 것이 간호사 간의 팀워크를 증진하는 데에 효과적임을 시사한다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 간호 관리자를 위한 리더십 교육 프로그램에서 변혁적 리더십뿐만 아니라 서번트 리더십과 윤리적 리더십에 대해서도 다룰 것을 제안한다.

National Culture and Leadership Style on Restaurant Employees' Affective Commitment

  • The topics of leadership and culture have attracted substantial interest from both academics and practitioners. This study examines the effects of leadership styles and national culture on affective commitment in samples of the restaurant employees in US. In detail, this study examines how employees evaluate their leaders with different national cultures and the ways in which cultural similarity influences employees' affective commitment. The findings suggest that participative leadership style and supportive leadership style have effects on affective commitment but instrumental leadership style does not. In addition, the findings show that employees evaluate differently leaderships of their leaders with different national culture. Finally, in order to increase the employees' affective commitment, it is recommended for managers to employ supportive leadership style toward employees of different national cultures. Participative leadership style is more effective when a manager is familiar with his or her employees' national culture.

변혁적 리더십과 거래적 리더십이 직무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Transformational and Transactional Leadership on Job Performance)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 거래적 리더십과 변혁적 리더십 유형이 직무성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구는 설문조사와 통계분석을 통해 세 변인 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구대상은 은행직원이며, 설문조사는 온라인 설문지를 통한 임의표본추출방법으로 진행되었다. 자료는 SPSS 28.0을 사용하여 통계분석하였으며, 빈도분석, 신뢰도 및 타당도 분석, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 변혁적 리더십이 혁신을 촉진하고 직원들의 사기를 진작시켜 직무성과를 유의하게 향상시킬 수 있음을 보여주었다. 반대로 거래적 리더십은 규칙과 절차를 지나치게 중시하고 상벌제도가 엄격하여 직원들의 혁신역량을 제한하고 직원들의 만족도를 떨어뜨려 직무성과에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 논문은 리더십 유형이 조직 유효성에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 리더십 이론을 발전시키며, 조직의 경영의사결정에 이론적인 논거를 제공하는데 그 의의가 있겠다.

변혁적 리더십 및 서번트 리더십과 조직 구성원의 조절 초점 성향이 개인 창의성에 미치는 영향: 내재적 동기의 매개효과 (The Impact of Transformational Leadership, Servant Leadership, and Followers' Regulatory Focus on Individual Creativity: The Mediation Effect of Intrinsic Motivation)

  • Although prior studies suggest that transformational leadership and servant leadership fuel followers' creativity, there is a few study on leadership style and followers' personality interaction. Based on regulatory focus theory, this study believe that interaction impacts of leadership styles and followers' regulatory focus differed in promotion focus and prevention focus employees' creativity. To strengthen causal process and rule out alternative results, this study conducted an experimental study using field employees. Participant were randomly assigned to four conditions (transformational leadership ${\times}$ promotion focus), (transformational leadership ${\times}$ prevention focus), (servant leadership ${\times}$ promotion focus), (servant leadership ${\times}$ prevention focus). The major results of this study suggest that (1) transformational leadership was positively related to promotion focus followers' intrinsic motivation and creativity, and was negatively related to prevention focus followers' intrinsic motivation and creativity. (2) Servant leadership, on the other hand, was positively related to promotion focus and prevention focus followers' motivation and creativity. (3) Intrinsic motivation mediated the relationship between interaction effects of leadership style and follower's regulatory focus style and individual creativity. The results of this study demonstrated a remarkable differential impact based on a simple manipulation inducing feeling or thinking of a responsive situation. This research, measuring interaction impact of leadership and followers' regulatory focus in an experimental context, expands the leadership style and regulatory focus literature and provides future directions on leadership role in personality-related research domains.

"조망 수용 능력이 안전을 높인다." : 진정성 리더십이 안전 행동에 미치는 영향 ("Perspective Taking Enhances Safety" : The Effect of Authentic Leadership on Safety Behavior)

  • Considering that previous works on safety behavior relatively have not paid adequate attention to the influence of various leadership styles on safety behavior. The current paper investigates the impact of authentic leadership on safety behavior and its intermediating mechanisms. In specific, this paper delves into the mediating effect of job stress, as well as the moderating effect of perspective taking ability of employees in the association between authentic leadership and job stress. The results demonstrated that that authentic leadership has a negative (-) influence on job stress, which has a negative (-) influence on safety behavior. Moreover, job stress mediated the association between authentic leadership and safety behavior. Furthermore, perspective taking moderated the authentic leadership-safety behavior link.

간호학생의 리더십 유형과 자아 존중감, 임상실습 만족도의 관계 연구 (The Relationship between Leadership Styles and Self-esteem, Satisfaction of Clinical Practice in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between leadership styles and self-esteem, satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students. Method:The subjects were 386 nursing students who were in college and university located around Seoul, Kyounggi, Chungchung, Kangwon province. The data were collected from July 26 to September 18, 2004 by the structured questionnaires. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression with SAS package were used. Results: 1. The score of the nursing students' transformational leadership were higher than that of the nursing students' transactional leadership. 2. The mean of satisfaction of clinical practice perceived by nursing students was 3.07, and its subcategories were practice contents 3.28, practice evaluations 3.11, practice hours 3.00, practice environments 2.99, practice directions 2.98. 3. 'Transformational leadership', 'charisma', 'intellectual stimulation' and 'individual consideration' were positively related to 'self-esteem', 'satisfaction of clinical practice' of nursing students. 4. 'Contingent reward' was positively related to 'self-esteem'. And 'Management by exception' was negatively related to 'self-esteem'. 5. 'Transactional leadership', 'Contingent reward' were positively related to 'satisfaction of clinical practice' of nursing students. 6. As a result of multiple regression analysis, the key determinants of 'self-esteem' were 'charisma' and this explained 27.41% of the total variance of it. And the key determinants of 'satisfaction of clinical practice' were 'charisma' and this explained 10.94% of the total variance of it.
