Statistical treatment of this study made use of the statistical program SPSS/WIN 22.0, and the method of analysis was done with factor analysis for validity verification of each factor. We used Frequency analysis like frequency and percentage about the generalities of the subject. Looking at the investigation of this research, the overalls such as the University Facilities, curriculum, professor and a school report was higher after training than before training the general programs, On the other hand, friendship and major got lower after training than before, but appeared no significant difference in the statistics. The whole leadership has appeared as heighten after education than before, through the servant Leadership's lecture Empowerment and personality were appeared as heighten after education than before, and Similarly on Human relations.
This study started from a critical review of the current problem of ethics education in engineering colleges, how it has become stereotyped and perfunctory and hence, is failing to properly foster engineers with a sense of responsibility. Existing engineering ethics education occupies a very limited role and weight in the periphery of the engineering curriculum, unable to hold a central position. This situation is of grave concern, especially when the leadership of engineers with social and professional responsibility is of great importance. Therefore, this study explored new directions and strategies for engineering ethics education while reviewing domestic and foreign studies dealing with the current status and problems of engineering ethics education. First, this study discussed the need for and direction of shifting to ethical engineering education instead of ethics education centered on liberal arts courses. Second, this study presented specific practical strategies to construct the ethical engineering curriculum. For example, it is necessary to establish the ethical engineering curriculum with an education linking ethics with human development goals, ethics education using Korea's current issues and agendas, micro- and macro-level analysis related to engineering, and leadership education.
The purpose of this study was to analyze majors trends and issues of e-Learning curriculum for human resource development in the corporate context. The e-Learning curriculum was chosen as the subject of research consists of 2,710 lectures that were given from 2007 to July 2009 for the recent three years by providing at Ministry of Labor and Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training. In order to investigate trends and issues, it was employed theme analysis which is one of the types of document analysis that approach a qualitative research methodology. As a result of this research, 7 major trends and issues in e-Learning curriculum for HRD in the field of corporate education were drawn; ① Strengthening expertise through learning of job related professional knowledge, ② Cultivation of common & essential knowledge for a job to increase work performance efficiency ③ Organizational management strategy for improving performance, ④ Organizational management and operational strategy for actively responding to environmental changes, ⑤ Leadership as a strategy for cultivating core personnel and field-centered practical leadership. ⑥ Creating a happy workplace through the work-life balance, ⑦ Strengthening global communication skill. Based on these analysis, practicals and theoretical implications of e-Learning professionals and HR researchers for HRD were suggested.
A new awareness on design in economy and business domain has shifted the focus of design education from the description and presentation to the creativity. This contextual change raises new awareness on the importance of the design management training program. The goal of this research is to suggest a program of design management training program in Korean context. For the purpose, the history of design management activity is briefly reviewed. And then the curriculum between Korean design schools and design management schools abroad is reviewed. The result shows that the design management schools abroad emphasize leadership based on practicality and the program is also ran by School of Business Management. The curriculum consists of leadership program and creativity program. The leadership comprises individual, personal, and collaborative. The leadership takes the role of catalyst in the organization to draw a creativity and raise it. So both leadership and creativity are inseparable. The result of creativity, however, differ from one another based on individual's capacity, procedure, and social context. Thus, it is important to develop a design management program which considers individual, social context, as well as economy and business domain.
Premed education in the college of medicine at the Catholic University of Korea aims to promote student creativity and excellence in accordance with the mission of the college: to have a sense of calling, leadership, and competency. The Catholic Medical College premed curriculum includes 75 credits which are composed of 65 credits for required courses and 10 credits for elective courses. It consists of courses in basic science, medical science, liberal arts and humanities (premedical OMNIBUS). It also involves community programs in 'Vision and Mission,' 'Leadership Training,' and 'Academic Conference.' In addition, students are allowed self-directed choice of their courses and learning for one quarter.
The objective of the current study is to establish the CQI procedure of leadership outcome education, which is emphasized in engineering education accreditation. Leadership includes many program outcomes, especially soft skills, such as communication skill, team work skill, and etc. This paper studied leadership education program in Yeungnam University. In particular, this research was conducted by using focus group interviews with experts and working level staffs of relevant organizations for the analysis of Yeungnam University curriculum and non-curriculum courses related to leadership education and for the preparation of leadership education CQI method. In addition, we conducted leadership competence diagnosis, leadership education demand survey and satisfaction level survey on the leadership camp participants. Interviews with experts, lecturers and focus group of Dale Carnegie Research Institute Daegu branch that administered the progress of leadership camp were conducted along with analysis of education contents through non-participation observation method during camp period and participant students interviews. The conclusions are summed up as follows: To educate global leaders in true meaning, first, psychological level competence strengthening method and study completing ability improvement method should be considered simultaneously. In particular, for non-capital region universities, emphasis should be given to education for self-confidence and vision establishment. Second, leadership education methods of mid/long term and systematic curricular and extra-curricular type should be pursued. For instance, with the use of engineering design subject completing system, leadership education can be consolidated to engineering subject courses with engineering design projects or the system of mentor-pupil among earlier leadership camp participants and later participants may be utilized. Third, it is determined necessary to pursue and realize practical methods of conducting various intramural leadership related education activities in mid/long term perspective by organizing leadership education advisory group consisting of major, departments and intramural and extramural relevant organization authorities that focus on leadership education.

The purpose of this study was to elucidate to what extent the goals of the leadership training program implemented in a medical college were achieved. Study subjects consisted of 74 first-year premedical students at the College of Medicine of The Catholic University of Korea. All participants completed two questionnaires: an 18-item self-leadership questionnaire asking self-expectation, rehearsal, goal setting, self-rewards, self-judgment and constructive thinking, and a 28-item self-efficacy questionnaire asking preference toward difficult work, efficacy of self-control, and confidence before and after the leadership training program. Students also competed a program satisfaction survey after the program. The collected data were analyzed with a paired t-test, descriptive statistics by IBM SPSS ver. 20.0 (IBM Co., Armonk, NY, USA). Students' overall satisfaction with the program scored 4.06 out of 5.
