Background: On June 18, 2017, Korea's first commercial nuclear reactor, the Kori Nuclear Power Plant No. 1, was permanently suspended, and the capacity of nuclear power generation facilities will be adjusted according to the governments denuclearization policy. In these circumstances, it is necessary to assess the quality of radiation safety management in nuclear power plants in Korea by evaluating the radiation dose associated with them. Materials and Methods: The average annual radiation dose per unit, the annual radiation dose per person, and the annual dose distribution were analyzed using the radiation dose database of nuclear reactors for the last 5 years. The results of our analysis were compared to the specifications of the Nuclear Safety Act and Medical Law in Korea. Results and Discussion: The annual average per unit radiation dose of global major nuclear power generation was 720 man-mSv, while that of Korea's nuclear power plants was 374 manmSv. No workers exceeded 50 mSv per year or 100 mSv in 5 years. The individual radiation dose according to occupational exposure was 0.59 mSv for nuclear workers, 1.77 mSv for non-destructive workers, and 0.8 mSv for diagnostic radiologists. Conclusion: The radiation safety management of nuclear power plants in Korea has achieved the best outcomes worldwide, which is considered to be the result of the as-low-as-reasonably-achievable (ALARA) approach and strict radiation safety management. Moreover, the occupational exposures were also very low.

We reported a case of chondrosarcoma in proximal tibia in a 44-year-old man. MR images demonstrated a $3.5{\times}20$ cm sized bone tumor. In reconstruction of resected proximal tibia, we used the allograft bone and soft tissue defects were covered by medial gastrocnemius rotation flap and skin graft. There were no local recurrence and distant metastasis and any complication such as secondary infection, nonunion, metal failure at the time of the last follow-up. There was no limitation of knee motion through the appropriate rehabilitaion programs.

To many, recent allegations of earnings management at Enron, coupled with similar ones at many other corporations, are a strong indication of a serious decay in business ethics. Nevertheless, the field of Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) has grown exponentially in the last decade. This study investigates the effects of CSR on earnings management. Different to precedent works which focus on Financial Performance, this study attempts to provide empirical evidence for relevance of CSR and Discretionary Accruals(DA). The study used variables in the sustainability report, and DA for its earning management too progress empirical analysis because it is believed that the measurement of accounting transparency is highly related to the CEO's opportunistic selection of the accounting. In terms of Sustainable management activities, Employee training time(ETT) is significantly and negatively associated with Discretionary accruals(DA). And also Industrial Accidents Ratio(IAR) is significantly and negatively associated with Discretionary accruals. Consequently, empirical results suggest that Discretionary accruals associated with the company's CSR activities, such as ETT, and IAR. In this study, there are limitation of generalizations and omitted variable problem.

The analytical methods for dioxins in water sample from wastewater to tap water were reviewed. For extraction method, liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) has been widely used, however, this process needs too much time and man power. New approach including solid phase extraction (SPE) is now applicable to large volume of water sample with high extraction efficiency. Column clean up in classical analytical methods were very complex and time consuming procedures during decade. Modifications were tried to decrease solvent and reagents volume. Moreover, use of column connection method has been demonstrated in the environmental matrices. Instrumental configurations also have been improved, in which GC/MS/MS with large volume injection approach can analyze picogram levels. Absolute sensitivities of HRMS increased compared to old versions of double focusing sector type mass spectrometers. Based on these analytical evolutions during last 10 years, we tried to optimize the analytical method for dioxins in water sample from sample extraction to instrumental analysis.

Repeated administration of all addictive drugs, including nicotine, can produce sensitization of extracellular dopamine levels in the nucleus accumbens and behavioral sensitization in rat, as evidenced by an enhanced locomotor response and increased dopamine release in brain to a subsequent injection of the drug. In order to investigate the effect of Zizyphus jujuba extract on repeated nicotin-induced sensitization, rats were given repeated injection of saline or nicotine (0.4 mg/kg s.c., twice a day for 7 d), followed by one challenge injection on the 4th day after the last daily injection. Systemic challenge with nicotine (0.4 mg/kg s.c.) and a direct local challenge of 3 mM a larger increase in locomotor activity and extracellular dopamine release in the nucleus accumbens in nicotine-pretreated rats than in saline-pretreated rats, respectively. Zizyphus jujuba extract significantly decreases locomotor activitiy and dopamine release in the nucleus accumbens induced by a nicotine challenge. These results suggest that Zizyphus jujuba extract may attenuate nicotine-induced neurochemical and behavioral sensitization and may be effective in suppressing compulsive nicotine-seeking behavior.

This paper focuses on "The Story of $Bras-Coup{\acute{e}}$" in George Washington Cable's The Grandissimes (1880), a story to and around which Cable claimed the larger work was built. It tells of an African candio sold into slavery who, to the dismay of his white purchasers, refuses to work, strikes his master, and runs away to lead a life of a fugitive in the swamps. He is finally captured, whipped, and maimed, but not before he casts a powerful voodoo curse at his master and his plantation. He dies a heroic death, with the last words that he goes "To--Africa." Cable once said that he "meant The Grandissimes as truly a political work as it ever has been called." It is a political work in that $Bras-Coup{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ personal rebellion is associated with much-feared slave revolts, especially the black revolution in San Domingue/Haiti. There is also $Honor{\acute{e}}$ f.m.c. (free man of color), one of the narrators of "The Story of $Bras-Coup{\acute{e}}$" and a stand-in for the Freedmen in the postbellum United States, who nurses his own insurrectionary flame. Through these figures Cable makes a "terrible suggestion" that a black revolution is on the horizon unless whites would not mend their ways soon.

According to Joseph Campbell, there is always a similar pattern in the hero myth, which is called hero's journey. The legends about Cuchulain, the great Irish warrior, also follow this pattern. W. B. Yeats adapts the legends into his plays with Cuchulain as the protagonist. This paper discusses the protagonist's heroic journey in the five Cuchulain plays written by Yeats. In the five plays, Cuchulain grows, matures, weakens, dies, and resurrects, completing and meanwhile sublimating his heroic journey. In At the Hawk's Well, Cuchulain shows potential qualities of a hero. The Green Helmet displays his self-growth through the depiction of his heroic merits which make him a true hero. In On Baile's Strand, the hero suffers from the major frustrations and tribulations in his heroic journey and is stricken down consequently. The Only Jealousy of Emer reflects the hero's inner struggle and vulnerability. The last play, The Death of Cuchulainn, marks the end and reincarnation of the hero's life. Through the depiction of Cuchulain's heroic journey in the five plays, his heroic qualities are well demonstrated. Meanwhile, Yeats's views of heroism can be found as well.

Although Marguerite Yourcenar, a representative French woman writer, lived 47 years in the United States from 1939 to 1987, the American influence on her life has not been studied either at home or abroad. The purpose of this study is to examine chronologically the American influence on the following three literary works of Yourcenar: The Little Mermaid (1942), River Deep, Dark River (1966) and Recluse (1982). The Little Mermaid is a drama, presented in musical format, about the identity crisis and inner conflict of Yourcenar. Unlike the little mermaid who burst like a bubble in Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, Yourcenar associates her death with the image of ascension. River Deep, dark river is a translation of the Negro spiritual expressing the suffering of African Americans. Recluse, her last novel, deals with the life story of a simple man living in nature on a small island. This novel shows Yourcenar's desire for a pure world that is not defiled by human greed. Yourcenar sponsored major human rights organizations and environmental groups in her life, and donated her entire fortune for human rights and the protection of Wild Fauna and Flora. The American influence on the literary works of Yourcenar can be summarized as a "great turning point", because she was transformed from a humanistic writer into an intellectual actor.

Objectives : This study is to reveal the origin of Mingtangyangfutu in "YiXueRenMen". Methods : This study compares and analyzes it with MingTang diagrams in reference books of "YiXueRenMen", MingTang diagrams and diagrams of bronze statues for acu-moxibustion in those days. Results : The origins of Mingtangyangfutu cannot be found in the citations. The argument that it is copied and simplified from MingTang diagrams in "JinLanXunJing(金蘭循經)" lacks its grounds. As MingTang diagrams in "TongRenShuXueZhengJiuTuJing" and "ZhenJiuJuYing" have less information than it, they were nothing more than references when it drew. Apparel of man, the first acupoint, the last acupoint and orders of acupoints of their meridians in it are different from ones in MingTang diagrams and diagrams of bronze statues for acu-moxibustion. Conclusions : Mingtangyangfutu is not a copied and simplified version of MingTang diagrams in "JinLanXunJing", but is one to add new information for MingTang diagrams in "TongRenShuXueZhengJiuTuJing", "ZhenJiuJuYing", or has a separate rationale (Gajeongdongin(嘉靖銅人) related to at the time.

This paper presents a tri-wideband bandpass filter (TWB-BPF) with compact size, high band-to-band isolation, and multiple transmission zeros (TZs). The proposed TWB-BPF is based on a multiple-mode resonator (MMR), which is interpreted by the method of the even- and odd-mode analysis technique. The MMR can excite 11 resonant modes, where the first two modes comprise the first passband, the next four modes form the second passband, and the last five modes are used to generate the third passband. In addition, 10 TZs are yielded to obtain high band-to-band isolation and wide stopband suppression characteristics up to $14.95f_{c1}$ ($f_{c1}$ is the center frequency of the first passband). To verify the proposed filter, a TWB-BPF with 3-dB fractional bandwidths (FBWs) of 37.4%, 43.5%, and 40.4% is designed, fabricated, and measured.
