GIS DB를 이용한 용도지역과 토지이용분석 - 부산광역시를 대상으로 - (Analysis of Zoning and Land Use using Geographic Information System Database - A Case Study of Busan Metropolitan City in Korea -)

  • 본 연구에서는 부산광역시를 대상으로 한 도시계획분야에서의 GIS를 활용한 토지이용분석 방법을 제안했다. 본 연구에서 사용한 부산광역시의 도시계획정보시스템 데이터베이스는 2000년대 초반에 구축되어졌다. 건물데이터는 수치지도(1:1,000)를 이용하였으며, 건축물대장과 수치지적도로부터 건물용도 현황 및 용도지역 지정현황 등의 속성을 입력한 것을 사용했다. 그리고, 특화계수의 산출로 부산광역시의 토지이용특성을 명확히 했으며 용도지역별로 특화범위를 비교했다. 또한, 건물용도별 및 용도지역별 관찰도수와 기대도수를 오버레이분석으로 산출하여 비교 분석한 결과 용도지역에 의해 건축물의 용도가 유도되고 있음을 알았다.

Spatial and Temporal Analysis of Land-use Changes Associated with Past Mining in the Kitakyushu District, Japan

  • In the beginning of $20^{th}$ century, the coal mining industry had an important role in Japan at which two-thirds of the coal product came from the Kitakyushu-Chikuho District (KCD). As a consequence of mining activities, land-use condition in this district showed notable changes. This paper presented a study of land-use changes in coal mining area by characterizing land-use pattern transition over the last 100 years. In order to carry out the rigorous analysis of land-use, a series of land-use maps over the last 100 years was developed using geographic information systems (GIS). The historic topographic map and another available old data were used to investigate the long-term changes of land-use associated with past mining within the GIS platform. The results showed that the utilization of a series of developed land-use maps successfully indicated the difference of land-use pattern in the KCD before and after the peak of mining activities. The general findings from land-use analysis described that forest and farm lands were lost and turned into abandoned sites in the last 100 years.

A STUDY ON IDENTIFICATION OF URBAN CHARACTERISTIC USING SPATIAL ARRANGEMENT METHOD

  • In order to rapidly catch up urban region’s detailed land-use or land-cover information; this research used the post-classification algorithm (Spatial Reclassification Kernel: SPARK) to create a land-use map of Taichung City. We discussed the urban land-use classification model with the IKONOS images. The conclusions may be distinguished as follows:(a) Using the Maximum-Likelihood algorithm to classify seven broad land-cover categories. The overall accuracy in this stage achieves 92.72% and Kappa coefficient will be obtained 0.91; and (b) Using the SPARK method to classify images for detect the land-use, the overall accuracy achieves higher 89.64% and Kappa coefficient will be 0.86. To conclude, the research process in this study can fully and carefully describe local land-use pattern and assist the demand of land management and resources planning reference.

A Cost-Effective Land Surveying System for Engineering Applications

  • The field of land surveying is changing dramatically due to the way data is processed, analyzed and presented. Also, there is a growing demand for digital spatial information, coming primarily from the GIS (Geographical Information System) user community. Such a demand has created a strong development potential for a new land surveying software. An overview of the development and capabilities of a land surveying software platform based on the Windows system, SurveyingMap, is presented. Among its many features, SurveyingMap provides a lot of adaptability for networks adjustment, geodetic and plane coordinates transformation, contouring, sectioning, DTM (Digital Terrain Model) generation, and large scale mapping applications. The system output is compatible with well known computer aided drafting (CAD) /GIS packages to expand its scope of applications. SurveyingMap is also suitable for non-technical users due to the user-friendly graphic user interface. The system could be used in engineering, architecture, GIS, and academic teaching and research, among other fields. Two applications of SurveyingMap, extension of field control and large scale mapping, for the case study area are established. The results demonstrate that the system is adaptable and reasonably priced for use by college and university students.

CHARACTERISTICS AND PRACTICAL USE OF THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT MAP IN KOREA

  • This study was performed for developing the National Environmental Assessment Map (NEAM) in Korea and presenting the application method of NEAM. This NEAM adopted the least indicator method and uses a Geographic Information System (GIS). This map is made through evaluation of 67 items, including greenbelt status and biodiversity. As a result, the construction of NEAM was defined as a process of identifying land use to scientifically assess the physical and environmental value of land and classify conservation value into several grades for the sustainable management of environmental resources. After applying NEAM criteria of five degrees to the whole of Korea, Grade I, showing the highest conservation value, accounted for 45.6% by land area of NEAM. Grades II, III, IV, and Ⅴlikewise accounted for, respectively, 23.6%, 17.9%, 6.3%, and the lowest conservation value of 6.6%. This map can be widely used in, for example, urban and regional planning, development planning, and environment impact assessment.

인공신경망기법과 GIS를 이용한 제주도 산사태 취약성분석 (Landslide Susceptibility Analysis in Jeju Using Artificial Neural Network(ANN) and GIS)

  • In this study, we implemented landslide distribution of Jeju Island using ANN and GIS, respectively. To do this, we first get the counter line from 1:2,5000 digital map and use this counter line to make the DEM. for the evaluate the land slide susceptibility. Next, we abstracted slop map and aspect map from the DEM and get the land use map using ISODATA classification method from Landsat 7 images. In the computation processes of landslide analysis, we make the class to the soil map, tree diameter map, Isohyet map, geological map and so on. Finally, we applied the ANN method to the landslide one and calculated its weighted values. GIS results can be calculated by using Acrview program and produced Jeju landslide susceptibility map by usign Weighted Overlay method. Based on our results, we found the relatively weak points of landslide ware concentrated to the top of Halla mountains.

GSIS를 이용한 제주도 국토개발에 따른 환경변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Environment Change According to Land Development Plan of Cheju Island Using GSIS Technique)

  • The purpose of this paper is to present the environment change of Cheju Island as land development process using GSIS(Geo-Spatial Information System) technique. We implemented the process based on the maps of soil color, underground water pollution points, land use, land development planning and land sight seeing supported by Cheju Province Office. To use the maps for GSIS data, first we transformed the picture data of the office into raster structured picture data using scanner. Second, the coordinate system was added to raster data using 1/50000 geographic map. Third, we estimated land planning process using GSIS technique(overlay and reclass technique). The results showed that land development effected the natural environment(forest, green field, farm land). However, the chemical pollution and land sight seeing was not so much effected by the land development that was found.

아틀라스 개념을 적용한 공간정보서비스 방안 - 토지피복지도를 사례로 - (A Study on the Strategies for Spatial Information Service based on the Concept of Atlas - A Case Study of Land Cover Map -)

  • 최근 들어 일반인의 공간정보 활용에 대한 수요가 증대되고 있는 가운데, 토지피복지도를 비롯한 국가공간정보의 구축이 증대되고 있다. 그러나 일반인을 대상으로 한 공간정보서비스가 미비하여 일반인의 공간정보 활용 증대를 기대하기 어려운 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 교육용 지리부도를 통해 우리에게 익숙한 아틀라스의 개념을 적용하여 일반인의 토지피복지도 활용을 증진할 수 있는 공간정보서비스 방안을 제안하였다. 이를 위해서 국내 토지피복지도의 활용 현황 및 해외사례를 검토하여 콘텐츠, 사용자, 활용 시스템의 측면에서 토지피복지도를 활용한 공간정보서비스의 개선 방향을 설정하고, 이를 보완할 수 있도록 아틀라스 개념을 기반으로 하는 아틀라스정보시스템의 특성과 기능을 정의하였으며, 환경공간정보서비스 제공 방안을 제시하였다. 이는 토지피복지도 뿐만 아니라 다양한 국가공간정보에 적용 가능하므로 일반인의 국가공간정보 활용 증진에 기여할 수 있다.

GIS와 RS를 이용한 오대산국립공원의 경관특성 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Landscape Characteristics of Odesan National Park by using GIS and RS)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 오대산 국립공원을 대상으로 수치표고모텔, 용도지구 및 토지피복분류도를 작성하여 경관특성을 파악하고, 가시권분석을 통해 시각적 경관관리방안을 제시하는 것이었다. 분석결과, 용도지구는 자연환경지구의 면적이 감소하고 자연보존지구가 상대적으로 확대되어 보전의 성격이 강화된 반면, 취락지구도 면적이 증가하여 개발 가능성이 증가하였다. 토지피복은 자연환경지구에서 농경지 및 도시지역의 증가가 나타났다. 가시권분석을 통해 가시중복도가 높게 나타난 지역은 대부분 자연보존지구였으며 산림지역이 대부분을 차지하였다. 그러나 일부지역은 자연환경지구 내에 포함되어 지속적인 경관관리가 요구되었다.

GIS의한 대기오염과 토지이용상태와의 상관성분석에 관한 연구 (Study of Air Quality and Land Use Correlation using GIS)

  • This study analyzes interrelationship with air pollution quality and land use patterns using GIS. The relationship can be obtained via three steps: (1) making out air pollution map from air pollution information of study area, (2) dividing land use patterns into residential area, commercial area, industrial area, traffic concentrated area, and non-polluted area, and (3) spatial overlaying analysis of GIS. Moreover, through analyzing air pollution quality by land use patterns, pollution sources can be identified. The results also coincide with the characteristics of conventional air pollution finding. More detailed analyses using articulated on site air pollution quality measurement databases are needed to correctly identify the pollution sources through finding interrelationship with land use patterns and air pollution Quality using GIS. The developed method can help trace the path of pollution sources and plan urban land use projects.
