  • Research on employee commitment to the organization is necessary for human resource management, and the result is applied in practice to improve organizational effectiveness. The aim of the present study is to explore factors affecting organizational commitment at the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. Besides, the relationship between organizational commitment and job performance is examined as well. The research was conducted on a sample consisting of 67 white-collar workers and 260 blue-collar workers at SMEs. A total of 327 valid complete questionnaires were input into SPSS 20 database for processing to provide evidence. The research model and hypotheses were tested using the technique of the hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The research resultsrevealed that income, reward and welfare, direct manager, working environment, coworker, and promotion opportunity tended to associate positively with organizational commitment. Besides, the finding also showed that, when the employee has a high organizational commitment, it would lead to high job performance. The main findings of this study provided some managerial implications for SMEs, in general, and managers, in particular. It implies that Vietnam's small and medium-sized enterprises should improve these six factors to retain employees as well as enhance their job performance.

  • This paper presented a method constructing the ITSoC(Information Technology System-on-Chip). In order to implement the ITSoC, designers are increasing relying on reuse of intellectual property(IP) blocks. Since IP blocks are pre-designed and pre-verified, the designer can concentrate on the complete system without having to worry about the correctness or performance of the individual components. Also, embedded core in an ITSoC access mechanisms are required to test them at the system level. That is the goal, in theory. In practice, assembling an ITSoC using IP blocks is still an error-prone, labor-intensive and time-consuming process. This paper discuss the main challenge in ITSoC designs using IP blocks and elaborates on the methodology and tools being put in place for addressing the problem. It explains ITSoC architecture and gives algorithmic details on the high-level tools being developed for ITSoC design.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of an education program using a high-fidelity simulator of labor and delivery on nursing knowledge, critical thinking, and clinical performance among nursing students who had not yet experienced clinical practicum. Methods: The development of a 5-week maternity nursing education programs using high-fidelity simulators included modules containing case-oriented scenarios, knowledge, and skills required for maternity care. A randomized controlled study was conducted to verify the effects of the developed program. Data were collected from October 21 to December 9, 2019. The experimental group (n=36) participated in a 5-week high-fidelity simulation program on care for the woman in labor, whereas the control group (n=36) received standard education as lecture and practice with delivery model. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation), the Chi-square test, Fisher exact test, and t-test. Results: For participants who received education using the high-fidelity simulation program, nursing knowledge (t=2.33, p=.011), critical thinking (t=3.73, p<.001), and clinical performance (t=2.53, p=.006) were significantly higher than in the control group. Conclusion: Even for students with no clinical experience, high-fidelity simulation-based nursing education was effective in improving nursing knowledge, critical thinking, and clinical performance among nursing students. Nurse educators will be able to use this high-fidelity simulator effectively, especially in situations where direct clinical practicum may not be feasible.

  • Purpose: The incidence of high-risk pregnancies is increasing in Korea as the birth age increases due to late marriage. Maternal-fetal attachment is an important factor that affects children even after childbirth, but it is difficult for high-risk pregnant women to form maternal-fetal attachment. The current study aimed to explore whether taegyo practice (i.e., pregnant women's efforts for fetal good growth and development), self-esteem, and social support influenced the degree of maternal-fetal attachment in women with high-risk pregnancies. Methods: The participants included 226 pregnant Korean women at ≥20 gestational weeks, hospitalized with 15 high-risk pregnancy conditions as defined by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Recruitment via convenience sampling was done at four sites in Busan, Korea. Surveys were distributed and collected from February 1 to 28, 2022. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, the t-test, one-factor analysis of variance, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: On average, participants were 33.97±4.23 years of age and at 31.65±6.23 gestational weeks. Preterm labor (35.4%) and gestational diabetes (21.0%) were the most common high-risk conditions. Maternal-fetal attachment was positively correlated with taegyo practice (r=.70, p<.001), self-esteem (r=.53, p<.001), and social support (r=.53, p<.001), all with statistical significance. Taegyo practice (β=.50, p<.001) and social support (β=.17, p=.030) explained 53% of variance in maternal-fetal attachment in women with high-risk pregnancies. Conclusion: Nurses caring for women with high-risk pregnancies during hospitalization can use these findings by promoting taegyo practice and enhancing social support to increase maternal-fetal attachment.

  • In this paper, first I try to sketch the changing Japanese labor market after 1990s, and then examine the so-called "Job $Caf{\acute{e}}$ program" in detail, which was initiated in 2004 by central and local governments to help young people fine suitable jobs, and finally investigate the possible direction for future labor policy as an important tool for revitalize the local economy. Latter half of 1990s witnessed the high unemployment rate among the population aged twenties in Japan, and the number of 'shinsotsu-mugyo', i.e. population not at work after completing high school or university, NEET (not in employment, education or training) and 'freeters' have grown rapidly. "Job $Caf{\acute{e}}$ program" was initiated as a public response to the increased youth unemployment, aiming at assisting young people's transition from education to career. In the Job $Caf{\acute{e}}$ program, job information service by MHLW, information service for high school students and university students by MEXT, placement service of career internship by METI are integrated into one service, and are provided by local government initiative, therefore named as "one stop service of employment". Although it is highly appreciated for one stop service, the Job cafe program has criticized for paying too much attention to the performance of projects, such as the number of users, and the number of successful job matching. At the final section of the paper, more practical spatial unit for executing effective regional plan on local employment and more empirical research on job search behavior are discussed.

  • In this study, we investigated science teacher's guidance of teaching practice in the perspective of the CHAT. Two science teachers working for schools affiliated with a college of education in Seoul took part in this study. Visiting the entire teaching practice, we observed the processes of guidance and the lessons and collected related materials. Semi-structured interviews were also conducted before, during and after teaching practice. All the data were analyzed by using the constant comparative method. The analyses of the results revealed that student guidance during the lessons was also important. And the curriculum orientation needed to be carried out before teaching practice. The division of labor with pre-service teachers relieved teachers of work burden. Teachers failed to guide assessment of students due to influences of community element such as students who were sensitive to grades. In both cases, teaching practice were so collaborative that those were valuable not only for pre-service teachers but also for teachers and students. Two teachers' activity system showed contradictions due to the lack of specific manuals for guidance and the lack of understanding of pre-service teachers. These contradictions brought about difficulties in their guidance, which in turn led to the difficulties experienced by pre-service teachers during teaching practice. They attempted to resolve contradictions in alternative ways and required standardized manuals for guidance, environments in which teachers could collaborate, and close connections with a college of education. Based on the results, we suggest some ways to improve teaching practice.

  • Along with economic development, the service industry is growing as days go by. Therefore, companies should maximize customer satisfaction through continuous changes by providing services which are suitable for customer needs. The general service industry has a decisive effect on the rate of growth and profitability of a superior business. Therefore, many companies try to provide the best customer service to increase profitability. Because service to a customer is delivered through interactions with the employee, the employee's attitude has a strong influence on the customer's satisfaction level. For these, most service industries are required to provide new types of labor. It is often referred to 'Emotional Labor', and that is different from physical and mental labor. Service providers always provide a service for the customers with a smile, even though they conceal their emotions. The Purpose of this study is to identify theologically the fact of that Sales Workers at Department Stores emotional labor, according to the economization of service, has become to decide the predominance of competition among companies and represents the quality of service ; to confirm that their emotion management is a crucial part of the work; to identify the correlation among job stress and job satisfaction which are experienced in the process of performing display rules required by organization. To practice them, this study deals with the theological consideration of the emotional labor, job stress and job satisfaction. This study proceeded to evaluate how the emotional labor of sales workers at department stores effected on their job stress and satisfaction. The result of this study will be summarized below. First of all, the frequency of emotional display and attentiveness required to display emotions both have a similar effect on the level of job stress. In the case of the emotional dissonance, there isn't a great amount of proof that it effects the job stress. That shows us that the aspect of the latter, they express the feelings on their daily lives less than the former by the public awareness and gaze. so, once they could accept the latter, the effect on the job stress would be vanished. Second, a study was performed to figure out the effect of emotional labor on job stress. As a result, none of them make negative effects on the job satisfaction but the attentiveness to required display rules even have positive effects on it. that means the emotional labor has an indirect effect on the job satisfaction through some intermediation stuff. Third, the role conflict of job stress factors has a negative effect on job satisfaction, Although role ambiguity has a negative effect on that as well, I couldn't find appropriate proof for that. As far as I figured out, job stress can only increase job dissatisfaction. In other hands, the sales workers would have tendencies to have more motivation to work hard rather than reveal their job stress and complain about work. Finally, emotional laborers always work close to job stress. This can maximize service for the customers, but it increases stress of the laborers providing services at the same time. Then, they can not provide high quality service. It is no doubt that we need to begin managing it systematically. In conclusion, the work satisfaction of the sales workers is connected to the service quality for the customers directly.

  • In this paper, we intended to find the labor situations and labor rights consciousness of local juveniles and also to identify how they are treated and respond to those treatments they encounter. At the same time, another purpose of this research is to collect basic data to give the youth proper education about labor rights when they are faced with unfair labor practice. The research results are as follows: First, 262 students (50.5%) have work experience. Second, 133 students(24.9%) took the education about labor rights, which means relatively small number of students were educated about labor rights. Third, it is reported that 54.2% of those students considered 'payment' top priority, and 67.7% of them got the work through their parents, friends, and acquaintances, and 60.2% had their jobs at restaurants. Average working hours are 7 hours a day and 20 hours a week, which shows that they worked quite long hours. Fourth, 28.9% of respondents reported they wrote employment contracts, and 82.1% said their main purpose of work was 'to make money'. Fifth, 24.7% of the students reported the experience of unfair treatment while working, and the most common case was 'jobs other than expected work'(17.9%). When they were asked how they coped with the unfair treatments, the largest percentage(30.3%) of them answered they 'quit the job'. Last, when the respondants were asked to list improvements for juvenile part-time jobs, the answers were minimum wage and payment with weekly vacation allowance(25.1%), enhancing social awareness(14.3%), increasing good job opportunity(12.8%), and etc.. This demonstrates that social awareness of juvenile labor jobs is to improve urgently in local community.

  • Where people within a certain cultural sphere have formed their own peculiar cultural beliefs including health belief, health value and health practice, care-givers have a good understanding of health management as those practices exist in the client's sociocultural background. The purpose of this study was to describe various caring behaviors in traditional childbearing management and ultimately to provide basic data for nursing practice and sustantive maternity nursing theory. To investigated taring behaviors, the ethnographic approaches were used. The fieldwork for this study has been conducted from December, 1991 to September, 1992. The data collection method was used in-depth interview. The key informants were 19 womans aged from 60 to 84, and general Informant was a native aged 50. Results of the study were as follows. The components of caring behavior inculded heeding, preventing from impurities, encouraging the power, praying, warming up one's body, enduring, helping, healing, resting, making preparations, utilizing mugwort, creating good blood circulation, tabooing, This components of taring behavior were 6 categories, making every effort, encouraing, contriving an easy labor, healing, making preparations, enduring, The prominent caring beehavier during childbearing process was making every effort. In conclusion, for more effective childbearing management of care-givers must eliminate from their own minds 'primitive' or 'supertitious' attitudes toward traditional childbearing management. Also it is desirable that they establish Korean style nursing intervention along with modern scientific practices in conjunction with the traditional childbearing management.
