  • Here we describe the new structured electrochromic(EC) materials to improve the three primary colors (RGB). We also report the simply isolated electrochromic unit cell using gel type electrolyte and show cross-talk' free driving of EC display device.

  • The TFT performances were enhanced and stabilized by plasma oxidation of the polycrystalline Si surface prior to the plasma enhanced atomic layer deposition of $Al_2O_3$ gate dielectric film. We attribute the improvement to the formation of a high quality oxide interface layer between the gate dielectric film and the poly-Si film. The interface oxide has a predominant effect on the TFT's characteristics, and is regulated by the gap distance between the electrode and the polycrystalline Si surface.

  • We report the suitable SLS (sequential lateral solidification) as a function of laser intensity. Precursor film is changed from 50nm to 100nm and is deposited on glass substrate by PECVD. We can find the suitable SLS length by changing the mask size. In this paper, we present the well-defined grain growth conditions as a function of laser intensity.

  • This paper describes the synthesis method of polyaniline and the characteristics of polyaniline/Zn and polyaniline/Li secondary batteries. Polyaniline was synthesized chemical or electrochemical method and then used as cathod active materials to investigate the characteristics of polyaniline/Zn and polyaniline/Li secondary batteries. Characteristics of polyaniline/Zn battery was affected by additives such as graphite powder and carbon black. Internal resistance, energy density and energy efficiency of polyaniline/Li secondary battery were $167{\Omega}$, 140.7 Wh/kg and 95.6%, respectively.

  • In this paper, we present a nev algorithm for the fast computation of the discrete cosine transform(DCT). This algorithm consists of the three dimensional prime factor-decomposed algorithm(PFA) and three dimensional common factor-decomposed algorithm(CFA). We can compute N-point DCT for the number N decomposable Into three relative prime numbers using PFA and into three common numbers using CFA. We also show input and output index mapping for the three decomposition. it results in requiring fever multiplicaions than the previous algorithms. Particularly, for the large number N, it is more powerful in reducing the number of multiplication.

  • We propose a new method for the formation of an aluminum parting layer in the fabrication of field emitter arrays, in which we used a reflow property of aluminum at a lower temperature than the deformation point of glass. After the sputtered aluminum layer on the gate metal was etched for the formation of gate holes, we carried out a rapid thermal annealing process, by which the aluminum slightly diffused into the gate hole. This reflowed aluminum could be used as a parting layer and emitter arrays were easily fabricated using this method.

Living Labs as a Model for University Innovation (대학의 혁신모델로서 리빙랩: 현황과 과제)

  • Recently, universities have applied a living lab as a user-led innovation model. This study analyzed two cases, British Columbia University, and D University. They are trying to change current provider-centered and expert-centered education model which encounters the limitations. To deriving the characteristics of university living lab, we analyzed the background, goals, methods, and implications of each case. The University of British Columbia operated a living lab centered on university buit-in environment. Students and faculty members participated in the living lab as proconsumers. D University operated a living lab as part of industry - academia cooperation and regional cooperation. The local community was set up as a living lab and knowledge providers, students, and users, local citizens, solved the problem jointly. Although the methods of living labs are different from each other, they are introducing new research and education methods and utilizing participatory governance.
