청취자 위치정보 기반 Sound Rendering 시스템 상호간섭 제거기법의 객관적 성능분석 (An Objective Performance Analysis of Crosstalk Cancellation Scheme for Sound Rendering Systems Based on Listener Position Tracking)

  • 본 논문에서는 청취자 위치정보 기반 상호간섭 제거기법의 객관적 성능을 분석한다. 기존외 많은 상호간섭 제거기법은 청취자가 최적청취위치에 있을 때를 가정해 설계되었다. [11]에서 제안한 공간뒤틀림/상호간섭제거기법은 청취자 위치 추적기를 사용하여 청취자의 위치에 상관없이 상호간섭 제거가 가능하다. 공간뒤틀림/상호간섭제거기법은 청취자 위치추적 부분과 상호간섭 제거 부분으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 청취자 위치정보 기반 상호간섭 제거기법의 객관적 성능평가를 위해 상호간섭 지표가운데 하나인 상대지수를 이용한 물리적 강인성과 좌/우 스피커의 수신전력세기 균형특성 및 균형특성의 근평균제곱오차와 유동평균을 통해 공간뒤틀림/상호간섭 제거기법의 객관적인 간섭제거성능을 보였다.

Web3.0 Video Streaming Platform from the Perspective of Technology, Tokenization & Decentralized Autonomous Organization

  • For examining Web3.0 video streaming (VS) platforms in terms of the decentralized technology, tokenization and decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), we look at four platforms like DLive, DTube, Livepeer, and Theta Network (Theta). As a result, DLive which firstly partnered with Medianova for CDN and with Theta for peer to peer (P2P) network and migrates to Tron blockchain (BC), receives no commission from what creators earn, gives rewards to viewers by measuring engagement, and incentivizes participation by allowing 20% of donation & fees for funding development, 5% to BitTorrent Token (BTT) stakeholders (among these 5%, 20% to partners, 80% to other BTT stakeholders). DTube on its own lower-layer BC, Avalon, offers InterPlanetary File System (IPFS), gives 90% of the created value to creators or curators, and try to empower the community. Livepeer on Ethereum BC offers decentralized CDN, P2P, gives Livepeer Token (LPT) as incentive for network participants, and delegators can stake their LPT to orchestrators doing good. Theta on its native BC pulls streams from peering caching nodes, creates P2P network, gives Theta utility token, TFUEL for caching or relay nodes contributors, and allows Theta governance token, THETA as staking token. We contribute to the categorization of Web3.0 VS platforms: DLive and DTube reduce the risk of platform censorship, promote the diverse content, and allow the community to lead to more user-friendly environments. On the other hand, Livepeer and Theta provide new methods to stream content, but they have some differences. Whereas Livepeer focuses on the transcoding layer, Theta concentrates both on the video application layer and content delivery layer. It means, Theta tries to deliver value to all participants by enhancing network quality, reducing CDN cost, and rewarding users in utility tokens for the storage and bandwidth they provide.

  • 차세대 DVD system의 audio 규격인 Dolby AC-3를 구현하는 방법으로 DSP 프로세서인 TMSC80을 사용하여 실시간 처리 가능한 하드웨어 바탕의 firmware 소프트웨어를 개발하는 방법으로 구현하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 TMS320C80을 바탕으로 한 하드웨어 구현에 관해 논의한다. 하드웨어의 구조는 TMS320C80과 시스템 메모리로의 DRAM, 오디오 입력부인 ADC, 입력 데이터를 효과적으로 사용하기 위한 FIFO menory, 오디오 출력용인 dac, 디버깅 및 통신포트로 USB, RS-232,LPT와 MPEG-2 encoding보드 등 다른 보드와 연계를 위한 local-bus를 위한 dual port ram으로 구성된다. 오디오 입력은 최대 24bit 48kHz sampling까지 받을 수 있다.

Cross-Cultural Comparison of Sound Sensation and Its Prediction Models for Korean Traditional Silk Fabrics

  • In this study, cross-cultural comparison of sound sensation for Korean traditional silk fabrics between Korea and America was performed and prediction models for sound sensation by objective measurements including sound parameters such as level pressure of total sound (LPT), Zwicker's psychoacoustic characteristics, and mechanical properties by Kawabata Evaluation System were established for each nation to explore the objective parameters explaining sound sensation of the Korean traditional silk. As results, Koreans felt the silk fabric sounds soft and smooth while Americans were revealed as perceiving them hard and rough. Both Koreans and Americans were pleasant with sounds of Gongdan and Newttong and especially Newttong was preferred more by Americans in terms of sound sensation. In prediction models, some of subjective sensation were found as being related mainly with mechanical properties of traditional silk fabrics such as surface and compressional characteristics.

편성물의 소리디자인을 위한 생리신호분석 (Physiological Signal Analyses for Designing Knitted Fabric Sound)

  • 본 연구는 경편성물의 특성에 영향을 미치는 중요한 구조변수인 조직, 편환의 계폐여부, 가이드바의 상호 움직임 방향에 따른 소리특성과 생리적 반응 사이의 관계를 파악함으로써 총합적 감성소재 설계를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 직물소리발생장치를 이용하여 7가지의 경편성물에 대한 마찰음을 녹음한 후, 이를 마찰음이 유발하는 생리반응을 측정하여 slow alpha파, fast beta파, ECG R-R, RESP, HF/LF, SCL, PV등을 분석하였다. 조직에 따라서는 LPT, Loundness(Z), Roughness(Z)와 Fluctuation strength(Z) 가장 큰 Sharkskin에서 fast beta파, ECG R-R, RESP는 증가하였으며 slow alpha파, PV, HF/LF는 감소하였다. 편환의 개폐여부에서는 폐환보다는 개환에서 Loudness(Z), Sharpness(Z), Fluctuation strength(Z)가 증가하였으며 RESP는 증가하고 HF/LF는 감소하여 개환이 더 불쾌한 감성을 유발하였다. 가이드바의 상호 움직임 방향은 counter보다는 parallel에서 slow alpha의 변화량이 감소하고 fast beta의 변화량이 증가하여 counter보다는 parallel이 더 불쾌한 감성을 유발하는 것으로 보인다. 또한 편성물의 음향특성 중 ΔL, Δf 와 Roughness(Z), Fluctuation Strength(Z)가 생리반응을 예측하는 중요한 요인으로써 나타났다.

Design of a Planar Cavity Resonator for 12.5 GHz Low Phase Noise SiGe HBT Oscillator

  • In this paper, the novel microwave oscillator incorporating a planar cavity resonator(PCR) is presented to reduce the phase noise of the oscillator in a planar environment. Compared to the conventional planar( $\lambda$/4 open stub resonator), the phase noise is improved about 16 dBc/Hz @100 kHz. The design of the oscillator is based on a reflection type configuration using the low 1/f SiGe HBT transistor(LPT16ED). The output power is measured 2.76 dBm at 12.5 GHz. In this paper, the oscillator used to the PCR can be expected to provide a solution for low phase noise oscillator in microwave circuits.

  • 스마트 그리드는 기존의 전력망에 디지털 정보망을 결합한 지능형 전력망으로 전력공급자와 사용자간에 양방향 통신을 통해서 전력을 공급 및 제어함으로써 전기 에너지 이용 효율을 극대화한다. 본 연구에서는 스마트 그리드를 지원하기 위해 스마트 수용가를 위한 컴퓨터 기반의 병렬 통신을 이용한 3상 전력 데이터 수집 솔루션을 설계하고 그 시작품을 제작하는 것을 연구목표로 한다.

Hybrid Flow Shop with Parallel Machines at the First Stage and Dedicated Machines at the Second Stage

  • In this paper, a two-stage hybrid flow shop problem is considered. Specifically, there exist identical parallel machines at stage 1 and two dedicated machines at stage 2, and the objective of the problem is to minimize makespan. After being processed by any machine at stage 1, a job must be processed by a specific machine at stage 2 depending on the job type, and one type of jobs can have different processing times on each machine. First, we introduce the problem and establish complexity of several variations of the problem. For some special cases, we develop optimal polynomial time solution procedures. Then, we establish some simple lower bounds for the problem. In order to solve this NP-hard problem, three heuristics based on simple rules such as the Johnson's rule and the LPT (Longest Processing Time first) rule are developed. For each of the heuristics, we provide some theoretical analysis and find some worst case bound on relative error. Finally, we empirically evaluate the heuristics.

An Advanced Method for Behavior-Characteristics Analysis of Diesel Fuel Spray

  • In order to control emissions from engine, it is necessary to understand the mixture formation process of diesel spray. In this study, analysis of diesel fuel(n-Tridecane, $C_{13}H_{28}$) spray under a high temperature and pressure was performed by a general-purpose program, ANSYS CFX release 11.0, and the results of these are compared with experimental results of diesel fuel spray using the Exciplex Fluorescence Method. The simulation results of diesel spray is analyzed by using the combination of Large-Eddy Simulation(LES) and Lagrangian Particle Tracking(LPT), and then injection pressure was selected as an analysis parameter. Consequently, it was found that the experimental results and the numerical results are consistent with each other, and then in order to investigate the behavior characteristics of evaporative diesel spray, the effectiveness of the use of CFX of commercial code is definitely validated.
