신호 압축법을 이용한 시선안정화 제어용 짐벌의 동특성 규명 (Identification of Dynamic Characteristics of Gimbals for Line-of-Sight Stabilization Using Signal Compression Method)

  • The line-of-sight(LOS) stabilization system is a precision electro-mechanical gimbals assembly for suppressing vibration due to its environment and tracking the target in a desired direction. This paper describes the design of gimbals system to reject the disturbance and to improve stabilization. The controller consists of a DSP with transducer and actuator interfaces. Unknown parameters of the gimbals are estimated by the signal compression method. The cross-correlation coefficient between the impulse response from the assumed model and the one from model of the gimbals is used to obtain the better estimation. The quasi-impulse response through linear element included in the gimbals could be obtained by the signal compression method. The unknown parameter of the linear element could be estimated as comparing the bode plots for impulse response from gimbals with them from model's response.

  • In this paper, the theoretical as well as experimental results of BER characteristics of three different modulation schemes, ASK, FSK and BPSK, in a multi-path Rician channel are addressed. These BER characteristics are analyzed as a function of $E_b/N_o$ and the power ratio of the line of sight (LOS) component to the Rayleigh scattered component. The theoretical as well as computer simulation results shows the ASK is the most suitable modulation scheme for the dedicated short range communication (DSRC) in terms of implemental cost and system complexity. The decision feedback equalizer is proved to be very effective in canceling the multi-path interference in the DSRC channel environment. The simulation result of the equalized ASK, reveals the performance enhancement achievable with decision feedback (DFE) equalizer for the first generation DSRC system. The multi-ray DSRC channel model is also provided to predict the received carrier power and fluctuation, which are quite dependent on the surroundings of a cell.

  • The canned motor of 3-phase induction is used for main coolant pump(MCP). The type of motor is canned-motor that stator and rotor are welded by sealed can. So, cooling water flows in the air gap of the canned motor as an independent cycling cooling system from the air gap to yoke of the motor to prevent high temperature of stator can and to lubricate bearing. Heat exchange is occurred between cooling water in the air gap and cooling water from the exterior pump to prevent rising of temperature in the motor. I has to analyze the characteristics of can exactly because the loss and the heat in the can are very important to design MCP. Therefore, thermal analysis is studied considering the effect of eddy-current los induced in the can.

  • There are several kinds of service standards for 3G($3^{rd}$-Generation) wireless communication as WCDMA, CDMA2000 and WiBro(Wireless Broadband Internet). Especially WiBro Wave2 system is a marked currnt issue. In this paper, we describe on the cell plan tool to desgin WiBro Wave2 network. For this, we treat from basic theory to practical substance to produce new(or modified) path loss prediction model for 2.3GHz. And we explain the method how to implement new technology MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) deployed in Wave2 system. Also we emphasize on the importance of LOS(Line Of Sight) analysis in WiBro network design.

새로운 구조의 강건한 외란관측기 설계 (A Design of the New Robust Disturbance Observer)

  • This paper proposes a new disturbance observer(DOB). The purpose of the DOB is to realize the plant performing like a model in the presence of disturbances which come from external environment and inherent nonlinearities and uncertainties in the plant. It is shown that the proposed DOB compensates those disturbances, nonlinearities and uncertainties, effectively. And it is theoretically proved that the proposed DOB can be guaranteed its stability for the stable plant. Its availability is shown by applying the DOB to the stabilization platform for EOTS(Electro Optical Tracking System).

DSRC 시스템의 성능해석 및 개선 (Performance Analysis and Improvement of Dedicated Short Range Communication System)

  • 본 논문에서는 ITS의 통신 방식인 DSRC 시스템을 실제의 도로규격과 차량의 높이를 적용하여 성능을 분석하였다. DSRC는 LOS 전파특성을 가지므로 물리계층에서는 직접파와 도로면과 건물에서의 반사파를 고려한 2-Ray와 4-Ray로 채널을 모델링하여 각각의 모델별 경로손실을 구하였다. 이를 근거로 DSRC에서의 라이시안 심도를 유도하여 AWGN과 라이시안 페이딩, 임펄스성 잡음과 라이시안 페이딩 채널에서의 시스템 성능을 분석하였다. 그 결과 임펄스 지수가 A=0.2, ${\Gamma}^{\prime}=0.22$일 때 2-Ray 모델에서는 약 80[m], 4-Ray 모델에서는 약 40[m] 이후의 거리에서부터는 BER이 $10^{-6}$이하로 성능이 열화되었고 이를 개선하기 위하여 BCH 부호화 기법과 MRC 다이버시티 기법을 적용하여 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다.

연계환승 교통체계를 감안한 철도투자 및 운영방안 (Railway Investment and Operation combined with Accessibility and Transfer Systems)

  • 본 연구는 연계환승 교통체계를 감안한 철도투자 및 운영방안을 제안하였다. 철도교통수단은 문전서비스가 되지 않기 때문에 철도역을 중심으로 주요거점까지 이동성을 확보하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 그러나 철도역을 중심으로 연계환승 교통체계는 철도사업의 범위에 포함되어 있지 않다. 따라서 철도 SOC사업의 재정지원을 받을 수 있는 근거가 없는 실정이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 환승센터 유형별로 연계 및 환승의 서비스수준의 평가지표를 마련하고 ALARP수준을 적용하여 우리나라의 서비스수준을 제안하였다. 또한 연계환승 교통체계의 개선에 필요한 법제도 측면에서의 개선방안, 재원조달을 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

X 대역 해상이동위성업무 추가 주파수 분배를 위한 지구탐사위성업무와의 양립성 연구 (A Compatibility Study Between New Allocation to Maritime Mobile Satellite Service and Earth Exploration Satellite Service in X-band)

  • 본 논문은 현재 ITU-R에서 논의되고 있는 7/8 GHz대역 해상이동위성업무를 위한 신규 주파수 분배 연구 중 8025 - 8400 MHz 대역에서 지구탐사위성업무와의 주파수 공유 가능성을 검토하였다. 8 GHz 대역을 이용하려는 해상이동위성업무의 송신 지구국은 동대역에서 운용되는 지구탐사위성업무의 수신 지구국으로 해로운 간섭 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 8 GHz 대역에서 해상이동위성업무의 상향링크가 동 대역에 이미 주파수가 분배된 지구탐사위성업무로 미치는 간섭 영향에 대해 분석하고, 주파수 대역을 공유하기 위한 공유 조건으로 두 업무의 무선국간 이격거리를 제시하였다. 우리나라는 2017년경에 정지궤도 복합위성을 발사할 예정이며 이 위성을 이용한 지구탐사업무 지구국과 동 대역의 해상이동위성업무 송신 지구국의 시스템 파라미터를 이용하여 두 업무간 간섭량 및 주파수 공유를 위한 이격 거리를 계산하였다. 최악 조건을 가정한 본 연구의 분석 결과에 따르면 가시 경로가 존재하는 경우 및 지형 조건을 고려하여 비가시 경로에 대한 이격거리는 각각 약 474 km, 약 200 km 정도 이다.

AN EVALUATION OF THE SOLAR RADIO BURST LOCATOR (SRBL) AT OVRO

  • The Solar Radio Burst Locator (SRBL) is a spectrometer that can observe solar microwave bursts over a wide band (0.1-18 GHz) as well as detect the burst locations without interferometry or mechanical scanning. Its prototype has been operated at Owens Valley Radio Observatory (OVRO) since 1998. In this study, we have evaluated the capability of the SRBL system in flux and radio burst location measurements. For this, we consider 130 microwave bursts from 2000 to 2002. The SRBL radio fluxes of 53 events were compared with the fluxes from USAF/RSTN and the burst locations of 25 events were compared with the optical flare locations. From this study, we found: (1) there is a relatively good correlation (r = 0.9) between SRBL flux and RSTN flux; (2) the mean location error is about 8.4 arcmin and the location error (4.7 arcmin) of single source events is much smaller than that (14.9 arcmin) of multiple source events; (3) the minimum location error usually occurred just after the starting time of burst, mostly within 10 seconds; (4) there is a possible anti-correlation (r = -0.4) between the pointing error of SRBL antenna and the location error. The anti-correlation becomes more evident (r=-0.9) for 6 strong single source events associated with X-class flares. Our results show that the flux measurement of SRBL is consistent with that of RSTN, and the mean location error of SRBL is estimated to be about 5 arcmin for single source events.

2차로도로 평균 통행속도-총지체율-교통량 관계 곡선 재정립 (Relationships Between Average Travel Speed, Time-Delayed Rate, and Volume on Two-lane Highways with Simulation Data)

  • PURPOSES : Two-lane highways have one lane in each direction, and lane changing and passing maneuvers take place in the opposing lane depending on the availability of passing sight distance. 2001 Korea Highway Capacity Manual (KHCM) is classified into two classes of two-lane highways (Type I, II), and average travel speed and time-delayed rate are used as measures of effectiveness (MOEs). However, since existing two-lane highways have both uninterrupted and interrupted traffic flow-system elements, a variety of free-flow speeds exhibits in two-lane highways. In addition, it is necessary to check if the linear-relationship between volumes and time-delayed rate is appropriate. Then, this study is to reestablish the relationship between average travel speed, time-delayed rate, and flow. METHODS : TWOPAS model was selected to conduct this study, and the free-flow speeds of passenger cars and the percentage of following vehicles observed in two-lane highways were applied to the model as the input. The revised relationships were developed from the computer simulation. RESULTS : In the revised average travel speed vs. flow relationship, the free-flow speed of 90km/h and 70km/h were added. It shows that the relationship between time delayed-rate and flow appeared to be appropriate with the log-function form and that there was no difference in time-delayed rate between the free flow speeds. In addition to revise the relationships, the speed prediction model and the time-delayed rate prediction model were also developed. CONCLUSIONS : The revised relationships between average travel speed, time-delayed rate, and flow would be useful in estimating the Level of Service(LOS) of a two-lane highway.
