  • In this paper, when G is a connected and simply connected nilpotent Lie group of dimension less than or equal to four, we study the uniform lattices Γ of G up to isomorphism and then we study the structure of the automorphism group Aut(Γ) of Γ from the viewpoint of splitting as a natural extension.

  • The purpose of this paper is to compare the radicals of a left symmetric algebra considered in 〔1〕 when the associated Lie algebra is nilpotent. In this case, we show that all the radicals considered there are equal. We also consider some other radicals and show they are also equal.

  • This paper is an attempt to stress the usefulness of the multivariable special functions. In this paper, we derive generating relations involving 3-variable 2-parameter Tricomi functions by using Lie-algebraic techniques. Further we derive certain new and known generating relations involving other forms of Tricomi and Bessel functions as applications.

  • We consider the simple antisymmetrized algebra $N(e^{A_P},n,t)_1^-$. The simple non-associative algebra and its simple subalgebras are defined in the papers [1], [3], [4], [5], [6], [8], [13]. Some authors found all the derivations of an associative algebra, a Lie algebra, and a non-associative algebra in their papers [2], [3], [5], [7], [9], [10], [13], [15], [16]. We find all the derivations of the Lie subalgebra $N(e^{{\pm}x_1x_2x_3},0,3)_{[1]}{^-}$ of $N(e^{A_p},n,t)_k{^-}$ in this paper.

  • The Lie algebra of type $F_4$ has the 26 dimensional representation. Its matrix realization can be obtained via 26 by 26 matrices and has a direct useful application to degenerate principal series for p-adic groups of type $F_4$.

  • Shokri et al. [14] proved the Hyers-Ulam stability of bihomomorphisms and biderivations by using the direct method. It is easy to show that the definition of biderivations on normed 3-Lie algebras is meaningless and so the results of [14] are meaningless. In this paper, we correct the definition of biderivations and the statements of the results in [14], and prove the corrected theorems.

  • Less than 1 % directional error in the range of 5 meters in the green could cause a stroke or more. Although there are several reasons offsetting the direction of the golf ball, lie angle and sidespin effect are the most crucial factors of the putting game. Simple equation is conformed to the experimental results of the deviation of the directional error in all distance. Also, the experimental results of the putting robot show that there are significant side spin effects.

  • Let denote the orthosymplectic Lie superalgebra spo (2m,1). For each irreducible -module, we describe its character in terms of tableaux. Using this result, we decompose kV, the k-fold tensor product of the natural representation V of , into its irreducible -submodules, and prove that the Brauer algebra Bk(1-2m) is isomorphic to the centralizer algebra of spo(2m, 1) on kV for m .

  • We establish a link between the study of completely integrable systems of partial differential equations and the study of generic submanifolds in $\mathbb{C}$. Using the recent developments of Cauchy-Riemann geometry we provide the set of symmetries of such a system with a Lie group structure. Finally we determine the precise upper bound of the dimension of this Lie group for some specific systems of partial differential equations.
