사과락(絲瓜絡)의 항산화효과 및 3T3-L1분화 시 Cytokine류에 미치는 영향 (Experimental Study on Antioxidative Effect of Luffae Fructus Retinervus and Their Effects on Cytokines to 3T3-L1 Cell Lines)

  • In recent year, We are concerned in anti-aging, disease-protection, long-life, many method are used in solving this problem. Recently, We heard that Luffae Fructus Retinervus(LFR) has effect of anti-aging, disease-protection, long-life. So I let made a experiment for this result. The purpose of this study is to; 1) the anti-oxidant effect of Luffae Fructus Retinervus(LFR) used for 3 methods, those are DPPH radical scavenging activity, Nitric oxide(NO) radical scavenging activity, Superoxide anion radical scavenging activity, 2) cultivation 3T3-L 1 Preadipocytes and Protein chip used for ProteoPlexTM 16-Well Murine Cytokine Array Kit. We measured level of DPPH radical scavenging activity. And we experienced that the ability of DPPH radical's elimination was increased by rising concentration of LFR. When the concentration of LFR was 5 mg/ml, the ability of DPPH radical's elimination was Maximum. We measured level of Nitric oxide(NO) radical scavenging activity. And we founded that the ability of NO radical's elimination was significant when concentration of LFR was from 1.25 mg/ml to 2.5 mg/ml. We measured level of Superoxide anion radical scavenging activity. And we founded that the ability of Superoxide anion radical's elimination was maximum when concentration of LFR was 0.3125 mg. When we inspected Antioxidative Effects with BSA, we experienced that ability of defense was increased by rising concentration of LFR. We known the immunity of LFR about 3T3-L1 Preadipocytes and gained the increase of Cytokines(IL-2, IL-4, GM-CSF) without IL-12p70, $INF-{\gamma}$, $TNF-{\alpha}$ So I guess that Luffae Fructus Retinervus(LFR) has effects of anti-aging, disease-protection, long-life, etc.

도립진자 시스템의 LFR에 의한 LMI 혼합 ${H_2}/H_{\infty}$ 제어 (The LMI mixed ${H_2}/H_{\infty}$ control of inverted pendulum system using LFR)

  • 본 논문은 도립전자 시스템을 LFR(Linear Fractional Representation)로 표현하여 얻어진 일반화 제어대상에 대하여 혼합 ${H_2}/H_{\infty}$ 제어기법을 적용한다. 먼저, 일반화 제어대상을 얻기 위하여, LFR로 표현한 도립진자의 선형 모델을 유도한다. LFR에서 고려한 구체적인 불확실성은 3개의 비선형 성분과 1개의 진자질량 불확실성이다. 유도된 선형모델에 하중함수를 더하여 LFR 모델을 확대함으로써 일반화된 제어대상을 얻는다. 다음으로, 이 일반화 제어대상에 대하여 혼합 ${H_2}/H_{\infty}$ 제어기를 설계한다. 혼합 ${H_2}/H_{\infty}$ 제어기 설계를 위해서 LMI(Linear Matrix Inequalities) 기법을 이요한다. 설계된 혼합 ${H_2}/H_{\infty}$ 제어기의 제어성능과 강건 안정성을 평가하기 위해서 모의실험과 실물실험을 통하여 $H_{\infty}$ 제어기와 비교한다. 실험결과, $H_{\infty}$ 제어때 보다 적은 피드백 정보만으로도 혼합 ${H_2}/H_{\infty}$ 제어기는 도립진자의 진자각도 측면에서 $H_{\infty}$ 제어기보다 나은 강건 안정성과 제어 성능을 보인다.

  • Most popular disk block replacement polices are LRU(Least Recently Used)policy and LFU(Least Frequently Used)policy. The LRU policy replaces blocks according to the most recent reference without considering the frequency of reference. The LFU policy replaces blocks according to the frequency of reference without considering the recently of the reference. In this thesis, a policy called LFR(least Frequently Use & Not Used Recently) disk block replacement policy is presented. The LFR policy subsumes the LFU policy and the NUR policy. The spectrum of the LFR policy exists between the LFU policy and the NUR policy because we co give different weight to each reference of a block. The implementation shows LFR policy outperforms the previously implemente LRU policy.

Anti-inflammatory Effect of LFR on LPS-stimulated THP-1 Cells

  • Background and Objective: Luffae Fructus Retinervus (LFR) is used for investigating symptoms of inflammation. We have evaluated the anti-inflammatory effect of LFR by analyzing the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Materials and Methods : We differentiated THP-l cells into macrophage-like cells by treatment with PMA. Inflammation was induced by treatment with LPS and PMA. We determined the safe concentration of LFR by using the MTS and MTT assays and using PD 98059 as a negative control for comparison of the anti-inflammatory effect of LFR. Results : The MTS and MTT analysis showed that the cell survival rate was >80% within the LFR concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml and began to decrease to >80% at 1 ${\mu}g/ml$. By RT-PCR analysis, the gene expression of TNF-${\alpha}$, IL-8, TGF-${\beta}$, IL-6, IL-${\beta}$1, and IL-10 levels were down-regulated when monocyte-derived macrophages were treated with concentrations of LFR between 10 ng/mL and 100 ng/mL. Conclusion : We conclude that LFR exerts an anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting the expression of pro-inflammatory activity. The results suggest a promising way to treat general inflammatory diseases.

Transient safety analysis of M2LFR-1000 reactor using ATHLET

  • $M^2LFR-1000$ is a medium-power modular lead-cooled fast reactor, developed by University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), aiming at achieving a reactor design fulfilling the Gen IV nuclear system requirements and meanwhile emphasizing the optimum safety and economics. In order to evaluate the safety performance of $M^2LFR-1000$ reactor core, three typical transients are selected from initiating events, which are unprotected transient overpower (UTOP), unprotected loss of offsite power (ULOHS+ULOF) and increase of feedwater flowrate with primary pumps trip (IFW+PLOF). These three transients presented and discussed in this paper are performed with the code Analysis of THermal-hydraulics of LEaks and Transients (ATHLET), which is developed by Gesellschaft $f{\ddot{u}}r$ Anlagen-und Reaktorsicherheit gGmbH (GRS). The results indicate that the $M^2LFR$ is safe enough under these three transients due to the good inherent safety features of the reactor, without human intervention, the reactor will reach a new steady state under UTOP condition.

족삼리(足三里) 사과락약침(絲瓜絡藥鍼)이 생쥐의 Collagen-induccd Arthritis에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effect of Luffae Fructus Retinervus Herbal-Acupuncture at ST36 on Collagen-induced Arthritis in Mice)

  • 족삼리(足三里) 사과락약침(絲瓜絡藥鍼)이 DBA/lJ mouse의 collagen-induced arthritis 미치는 영향(影響)을 관찰(觀察) 한 결과(結果), 다음과 같은 결론(結論)을 얻었다. 1. 세포독성(細胞毒性) 측정결과(測定結果), 사과락약침액(絲瓜絡藥鍼液) 1%의 농도(濃度)에서 가장 높은 세포생존률(細胞生存率)이 관찰(觀察)되었다. 2. In vitro screening 결과(結果), 사과락약광액(絲瓜絡藥鑛液) 1%의 농도(濃度)에서 CIA mouse 관절활막세포(關節滑膜細胞)의 TNF-${\alpha}$발현(發現)이 유의(有意)하게 감소(減少)하였다. 3. 족삼리(足三里) 사과락약침(絲瓜絡藥鍼)에 의하여 관절염(關節炎) 발병률(發病率)이 감소(減少)하였다. 4. 족삼리(足三里) 사과락약침(絲瓜絡藥鍼)에 의하여 CIA mouse의 각장(脚臟)무게가 감소(減少)하였다. 5. 족삼리(足三里) 사과락약침(絲瓜絡藥鍼)에 의하여 CIA mouse의 혈청(血淸) IL-6, INF-${\gamma}$, TNF-${\alpha}$, IgG, IgM 및 Anti-collagen Ⅱ가 유의(有意)하게 감소(減少)하였다. 6. 조직학적(組織學的) 검사(檢査) 결과(結果), 족삼리(足三里) 사과락약침(絲瓜絡藥鍼)에 의하여 CIA mouse 관절(關節)의 연골파괴(軟骨破壞)와 활막증식(滑膜增殖)이 감소(減少)되고 교원질섬유(膠原質纖維)가 정상군(正常群)과 유사(類似)하게 유지(維持)되었다. 7. 임파절내(淋巴節內) CD3e+와 CD19+세포(細胞) 비율(比率), CD4+와 CD8+세포(細胞) 비율(比率)은 사과락약광치료군(絲瓜絡藥鑛治療群)에서 정상군(正常群)과 유사(類似)하게 유지(維持)되었다. 8. 임파절내(淋巴節內) CD69+/CD3e+세포(細胞) 및 CD11a+/CD19+세포(細胞)와 관절내(關節內) CD11b+/Gr-1+세포(細胞)는 사과락약침치료군(絲瓜絡藥鍼治療群)에서 대조군(對照群)에 비하여 유의(有意) 하게 감소(減少)하였다.

  • 대두단백젖산발효물과 쌀젖산발효물의 특성을 비교하였다. 쌀젖산발효물은 색택, 향미가 우수하였고 대두단백 젖산발효물은 영양과 물성이 우수하였다. 쌀젖산발효물과 대두단백 젖산발효물 각각의 우수한 특성을 이용하기 위하여 이들을 혼합하였고 이혼합물을 라이소거트라 명명하였다. 라이소거트는 대두젖산발효물 보다 향, 맛, 색택, 종합적기호도가 월등하였으며, 영영 및 유변학적 특성면에서 쌀젖산발효물 보다 우수하였다. 라이소거트의 적정혼합비율은 쌀젖산발효물: 대두단백젖산발효물 75:25 이었다.

  • 호화시킨 쌀을 액 당화한 후 젖산발효하고 균질화하여 호상 쌀젖산발효물을 제조하였다. 발효시 ${\alpha}$-아밀라제와 글루코아밀라제를 각각 0.02%수준으로 처리하여 2차 당화와 동시에 발효를 진행함으로써 쌀젖산발효물의 품질을 크게 향상시킬 수 있었다. 이들 효소처리에 의하여 쌀젖산발효물의 신맛과 단맛이 증대되었으며 꺼끌꺼끌한 촉감을 주는 불용성 고형물 입자의 크기가 감소하였다. 쌀젖산 발효물의 관능적 품질은 매우 양호하였으며 기호도가 높았다. 최적화된 공정에 의거하여 제조된 쌀젖산발효물의 이화학적 특성을 조사하였다.

Corrosion behavior of refractory metals in liquid lead at 1000 ℃ for 1000 h

  • Lead-based fast reactor (LFR) has become one of the most promising reactors for Generation IV nuclear systems. A developing trend of LFR is high efficiency, along with operation temperatures up to 800 ℃ or even higher. One of key issues in the high-efficiency LFR is corrosion of cladding materials with lead at high temperatures. In this study, corrosion behavior of some refractory metals (Nb, Nb521, and Mo-0.5La) was investigated in static lead at 1000 ℃ for 1000 h. The results showed that Nb and Nb521 exhibited an intense dissolution corrosion with obvious lead penetration after corrosion, and lead penetration extended along the grain boundaries of the specimens. Furthermore, Nb521 showed a better corrosion resistance than that of Nb as a result of the elements of W and Mo included in Nb521. Mo-0.5La showed much better corrosion resistance than that of Nb and Nb521, and no lead penetration could be observed. However, an etched morphology appeared on the surface of Mo-0.5La, indicating the occurrence of corrosion to a certain degree. The results indicate that Mo-0.5La is compatible with lead up to 1000 ℃. While Nb and Nb alloys might be not compatible with lead for high-efficiency LFR at such high temperatures.

Comparative analysis of internal flow characteristics of LBE-cooled fast reactor main coolant pump with different structures under reverse rotation accident conditions

  • Lead alloy is used as coolant in Lead-based cooled Fast Reactor (LFR). The natural characteristics of lead alloy are combined with the simple structural design of LFR. This constitutes the inherent safety characteristics of LFR. The main work of this paper is to take the main coolant pump (MCP) in the lead-cooled fast reactor (LFR) as the research object, and to study the flow pattern distribution of the internal flow field under the reverse rotation pump condition, the reverse rotation positive-flow braking condition and the reverse rotation negative-flow braking condition. In this paper, the double-outlet volute type and the space guide vane are selected as the potential designs of the CLEAR-I MCP. In this paper, the CFD method is used to study the potential reverse accident of the MCP. It is found that the highest flow velocity in the impeller appears at the impeller outlet, and the Q-H curves of the two design programs basically coincide. The space guide vane type MCP has better hydraulic performance under the reverse rotation positive-flow condition, the Q-H curves of the two designs gradually separate with increasing flow rate, and the maximum flow velocity inside the space guide vane type MCP is obviously lower than that of the double-outlet volute type. For the reverse rotation test of MCP, only the condition of the forward rotating pump of the main coolant pump is tested and verified. For the simulation of the MCP in LBE medium, it proved that the turbulence model and basic settings selected in the simulation are reliable.
