In general, auto parts production assembly line is assembled and produced by automatic mounting by an automated robot. In such a production site, quality problems such as misalignment of parts (doors, trunks, roofs, etc.) to be assembled with the vehicle body or collision between assembly robots and components are often caused. In order to solve such a problem, the quality of parts is manually inspected by using mechanical jig devices outside the automated production line. Automotive inspection technology is the most commonly used field of vision, which includes surface inspection such as mounting hole spacing and defect detection, body panel dents and bends. It is used for guiding, providing location information to the robot controller to adjust the robot's path to improve process productivity and manufacturing flexibility. The most difficult weighing and measuring technology is to calibrate the surface analysis and position and characteristics between parts by storing images of the part to be measured that enters the camera's field of view mounted on the side or top of the part. The problem of the machine vision device applied to the automobile production line is that the lighting conditions inside the factory are severely changed due to various weather changes such as morning-evening, rainy days and sunny days through the exterior window of the assembly production plant. In addition, since the material of the vehicle body parts is a steel sheet, the reflection of light is very severe, which causes a problem in that the quality of the captured image is greatly changed even with a small light change. In this study, the distance between the car body and the door part and the door are acquired by the measuring device combining the laser slit light source and the LED pattern light source. The result is transferred to the joint robot for assembling parts at the optimum position between parts, and the assembly is done at the optimal position by changing the angle and step.

Seaweed(Laver), Korea's largest export product, is currently focused on mass production due to the market situation in Korea. This naturally led to a decrease in the quality of seaweed. Therefore, in this paper, the present method was produced and tested by changing the way of adjusting the ratio of seaweed mixing, which was dependent on the user's sense and experience in the production of seaweed. In addition, I developed an embedded measurement system that can determine the concentration of a mixture of gold in real time based on primary image information obtained through an IR LED lamp that generates a light source and a photo sensor that detects concentration. By collecting and storing precise data in real time, it is easier to cope with the previous year's data in a work environment that is repeated every winter.
The contrast ratio is one of the most important performance parameters for display devices. The general method of measuring the contrast ratio is to determine the ratio of the full-screen white pattern to the full-screen black pattern, according to the Video Electronics Standards Association standard. Real TV images seldom have these images, however, and the conventional method does not reflect the true performance of the display in actual use. In this paper, a new contrast ratio measurement method that uses image patterns is proposed, to demonstrate that active matrix organic light-emitting diode TVs have a higher contrast than LED (LCD) TVs.

The sapphire wafers for blue light emitting devices were manufactured by the implementation of the surface machining technology based on micro-tribology. This process has been performed by grinding, lapping and polishing. The surfaces of sapphire wafers were mechanically affected by residual stress and surface default. This mechanical stress and strain can be cured by thermal anneal ing process. The sapphire crystalline wafers were annealed at $1100~1400^{\circ}C$ and then characterized by double crystal X-ray diffraction. The sample showed good quality of crystalline wafer surface wi th full width at hal f maximum of 16 arcsec for the 4-hour heat-treatment at $1300^{\circ}C$.
The recently developed correlative super-resolution fluorescence microscopy (SRM) and electron microscopy (EM) is a hybrid technique that simultaneously obtains the spatial locations of specific molecules with SRM and the context of the cellular ultrastructure by EM. Although the combination of SRM and EM remains challenging owing to the incompatibility of samples prepared for these techniques, the increasing research attention on these methods has led to drastic improvements in their performances and resulted in wide applications. Here, we review the development of correlative SRM and EM (sCLEM) with a focus on the correlation of EM with different SRM techniques. We discuss the limitations of the integration of these two microscopy techniques and how these challenges can be addressed to improve the quality of correlative images. Finally, we address possible future improvements and advances in the continued development and wide application of sCLEM approaches.

Navigation lights used in supersonic aircraft are used to identify the direction and location of the aircraft. The color of the navigation lights and location of installation are defined by aviation law as red for the left wing, green for the right wing, and white for the tail. Navigation lights operate in BRT and DIM modes. BRT is the brightest mode, and DIM is an output with dimmed brightness. Navigation lights serve to prevent aircraft collisions and are very important for stability and location identification. One phenomenon is that the inlet and tail navigation lights flicker abnormally. In this study, fault tree analysis was performed in two stages. The first step was derived from three causal factors, the second step developed five improvements, and the optimal improvement plan was drawn. The navigation lights confirmed that the initial input power was unstable as the main cause of abnormal flickering. As an improved method, the circuit was adjusted to stabilize the initial power, and it was confirmed that flickering did not occur as a result of the tests under the same conditions.

Due to the rapid spread of mobile handheld devices, industrial demands for micro-scale holes with a diameter of even smaller than $10{\mu}m$ in sapphire/silicon wafers have been increasing. Holes in sapphire wafers are for heat dissipation from LEDs; and those in silicon wafers for interlayer communication in three-dimensional integrated circuit (IC). We have developed a sapphire wafer driller equipped with a 532nm laser in which a cooling chuck is employed to minimize local heat accumulation in wafer. Through the optimization of process parameters (pulse energy, repetition rate, number of pulses), quality holes with a diameter of $30{\mu}m$ and a depth of $100{\mu}m$ can be drilled at a rate of 30holes/sec. We also have developed a silicon wafer driller equipped with a 355nm laser. It is able to drill quality through-holes of $15{\mu}m$ in diameter and $150{\mu}m$ in depth at a rate of 100holes/sec.
BACKGROUND: Plant growth under smart greenhouse (that is plant factory system) conditions of an artificial light type is significantly depending on the artificial light sources such as a fluorescent lamps or Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs) with specific spectral wavelengths regardless of the outside environmental changes. In this experiment, characteristics on the growth and compound synthesis of kale seedlings affected by light qualities and intensities provided by LEDs were mentioned. METHODS AND RESULTS: The kale seedlings which developed 3~4 true leaves were exposed by fluorescent lamps or LEDs lights of red (R), blue+white (BW), blue+red (BR) with 50 (L) or $100(H){\mu}mol/m^2/s^1$ photosynthetic photon flux (PPF) under hydroponic culture system of deep flow technique for 50 days. Shoot fresh weight increased under the RH, BWH, and BRH treatments with higher PPF. Shoot elongation of the seedlings decreased, and polyphenol synthesis promoted by the higher light intensity conditions. Sugar synthesis in the leaves was above 2 times greater under the RH treatment of monochromic red light quality with $100{\mu}mol/m^2/s^1\;PPF$ than $50{\mu}mol/m^2/s^1\;PPF$. CONCLUSION: The results show that the control of light quality and intensity in the smart greenhouse conditions with artificial lights significantly affects the growth and compound synthesis in the fresh kale leaves with higher culture efficiency compared to the conventional soil culture under greenhouse or field conditions. Researches on the optimum light intensities of the LEDs with special spectral wavelengths are necessary for maximum growth and metabolism in the seedlings.

Sapphire single crystals have been highlighted for epitaxial gallium nitride films in high-power laser and light emitting diode (LED) industries. Among the many crystal growth methods, the Kyropoulos process is an excellent commercial method for growing larger, high-optical-quality sapphire crystals with fewer defects. Because the properties and growth behavior of sapphire crystals are influenced largely by the temperature distribution and convection of molten sapphire during the manufacturing process, accurate predictions of the thermal fields and melt flow behavior are essential to design and optimize the Kyropoulos crystal growth process. In this study, computational fluid dynamic simulations were performed to examine the effects of the crucible geometry aspect ratio on melt convection during Kyropoulos sapphire crystal growth. The results through the evolution of various growth parameters on the temperature and velocity fields and convexity of the crystallization interface based on finite volume element simulations show that lower aspect ratio of the crucible geometry can be helpful for the quality of sapphire single crystal.

The Internet of Things (IoT) and Visible Light Communication (VLC) is opening up new services in lighting industry by integrating sensory network features in addition to standard illumination functionality. In this progressive developments, the next generation lighting devices for smart homes are capable to sense the environmental conditions and transfer the captured data through lights to gateway controller to access remotely. The smart home environmental sensor information's are few kbps only so VLC systems need to built-in with low rate light connectivity to transfer data to the gateway. To provide error free communication, the quality of a received light signal is important to be considered when designing an VLC receiver. Therefore, this paper proposes the design of robust low rate IoL receiver design using NCP302 voltage detector for micro controller to adapt the IoT/IoL front end module for system integration. To evaluate the proposed system performance, the Arduino UNO based IoT/IoL controller designed with lighting, sensors and lights connectivity interfaces. The experimental result shows that the robust interference rejection is feasible on proposed VOL receiver and possible to have an error-free communication up to 10 kbps at a low SNR using OOK modulation.
