As Chinese philosophy has developed by commentary for the original texts, the Nine Chapters has been greatly improved by the commentary given by Liu Hui and it was transformed from an arithmetic text to Mathematics. Comparing his commentary and Chinese philosophical development up to his date, we conclude that Liu Hui was able to make such a great leap by his thorough understanding of philosophical development.

The ultrahigh pressure process for synthesizing diamond grits is due to make a quantum leap: the raw materials will incorporate diamond seeds with a predetermined pattern. The result is doubling the diamond yield with a narrower size distribution. Moreover, the shape of diamond crystals can be precisely tuned. For example, diamond octahedra or diamond cubes, that are not available today, can be mass-produced. The new technology is now being implemented worldwide so the future diamond grits will have improved quality at reduced prices.

지진해일 수치해석시 일반적으로 사용되어오던 Shuto의 유한차분모형(Goto ＆ Shuto, 1983)은, 천수방정식을 사용하고 파의 분산효과는 수치오차를 이용하여 고려하므로, 정해진 계산시간간격($\Delta$t)에 대해 수심에 따라 격자간격을 적절히 선택하여야 한다. 또한 Shuto 모형은 leap-frag 기법을 사용하므로, 격자 및 계산시간간격이 심해에서 수치분산을 위한 조건을 만족시켰다 할지라도, 천수화에 의해 파장이 점점 작아져 파수(k)가 $\pi$/$\Delta$x가 되는 수심(2$\Delta$x wave)에 이르면 파가 더 이상 진행하지 못하고 반사하게 되므로 실제 현상과는 다른 결과를 보이게 된다. In this paper, seven-order elliptic low-pass passive network is synthesized by using doublyterminated ladder network is directly transformed into the active network which has the advantage of low sensitivity and can be realized conveniently. The circuit simulation results of passive network and active network synthesized with FDNR and Leap-frog technique are compared, and it is proved that the two rest work has the same characteristics.

전 세계 시각 연구실에서는 세계협정시(UTC)를 유지하기 위해 GPS 위성의 코드 신호를 이용해왔다. 최근 GLONASS 위성 시스템이 전 세계적으로 서비스되면서 GLONASS 위성의 코드 신호를 이용한 시각 전송 기법에 대한 연구가 진행되었고 이에 GPS 와 GLONASS를 결합한 시각 전송 기법이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 GLONASS 위성의 코드 신호를 이용해서 GLONASS 위성과 관측 시스템간의 시각 오프셋을 추출하는 시각 전송 기법에서 윤초에 대해 소개하고 그 적용 결과를 제시하고자 한다.

The aim of this study is to examine the changes of approach methods of research framework in the history of Korean economic geography during the last fifty years($1956{\sim}2005$). The five factors that have influenced Korean economic geography are Korean geography, European, American, and Japanese geography, fundamental theories of economics and business administration, regional problems, and culture. The study of Korean economic geography can be divided into four periods: 'period of cradle of economic geography($1956{\sim}1962$)', 'period of establishment of economic geography(1963$\sim$later 1970s)', 'period of leap of economic geography(the former half of 1980s$\sim$the former half of 1990s)', and 'period of transition of economic geography (since later 1990s)'. And research framework of Korean economic geography has changed from the regional structure theory in 'period of leap' to the spatial system of economies and network theory in 'period of transition'. Spatial system of economies and network theory consists of spatial system of world economies, spatial system of national economies, spatial system of regional economies, spatial network of enterprise economies, and spatial network of information economies.

Motion-sensing interface enhances the sense of reality of user experience in virtual reality context. This study analyzes the innovation resistance and adoption structure for Leap Motion, which provides a motion-sensing function, primarily considering the theory of perceived risk. Previous research regarding innovation resistance and adoption mainly addressed the resultant aspects of perceived risk, or the impact of perceived value on the adoption intention. This study synthetically reviews previous studies from a multi-dimensional view considering both resistance- and adoption-perspective. To do so, we identified important antecedents that affect perceived risk and value, and we analyzed the compound dynamics of perceived risk and value towards innovation resistance. As a result, we found that the antecedents included in the existent acceptance models from adoption-perspective can help reduce the level of perceived risk, and that higher perceived value leads to lower innovation resistance. Additionally, trialability can rather foster the perceived risk.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the slacks pattern making on the movement -fitness of the hip region. The experimental items were divided into the 5 lower limb movements(M1-M5) and the 12 revision pattern constructions of slacks. This study was done by clothing pressure test sensory evaluation test and the difference shape-transformation of wearing-slacks. The summarized finding resulted from experiments and investigation are suggested as follows: First by the clothing pressure tested by lower limb movements the clothing pressure score of the rabbit leap movement(M3) was the highest of all lower limb movements and the order of it in the another movement was the sit on knee(M4) the sit on chair(M2) the noble sitting(M5) from the highest to the lowest. And in comparision of clothing pressure tested by revision pattern to cover the extend of crotch-length 20。 inclined back-line construction method (CA4) showed the lowest. And in comparision of clothing pressure tested by revision pattern to cover the extend of crotch-length 20。 inclined back-line construction method (CA4) showed the lowest. And also for a role to cover hip circumference extendign CC4(1/5 hip.1cm longrightarrow linked back -line) method showed the lowest. Second by the sensory evaluation test based on the movement and revision patterns it was found that the functional factor score of the rabbit leap movement was the lowest in all movement however the score of revision patterns were higher than basic pattern. Third by the test to show difference in the shape-transformation of wearing-slacks on chair(M2) also need to be analyzed. The ration of the shape-transformation of the knee region showed the least value in the increased patterns of inclined angle of back-line(CA) and the differential methods of back-line inclined pattern making. But that of the hem-line did not show remarkable difference.

Folk belief, which originated with the rise of human existence is a fundamental and comprehensive mode of living that reflects sociocultural conditions. Adherents of folk belief accept a certain thing to be true and real without scientific authority and absolute certainty. Taboo can be seen as a king of folk belief. The object of this study is to examine the taboos in relation to the manufacturing process and the quality of the shroud and to shrouding customs. I will also try to find out the meaning and significance in this. Through this task, I hope to contribute to the enhanced understanding of the cultural characteristics, the spiritual life, and the views on after life of the Korean people. In Korea, it is considered to be propitious to prepare the shroud on the intercalary month of the leap year , as it allows one to enjoy longevity healthy and sound. Moreover, as this belief gives credence and repose while preparing for the “final departure”, this custom is relatively well observed. From the taboo concerning leap months, we infer that death as viewed as a commencement of a new life, which reveals a positive view on afterlife. This can be seen as a return to the origin of anti-universal space in this “bonus” month of anti-universal time. Taboos on the manufacturing process of the shroud is related to the belief that it allows the deceased to go the nest world without any hesistation or disturbances. This symbolizes the immortality of the human soul: I. e. that the human spirit does not end in this world but continues on to the next. Taboos concerning the preparation process of the shroud as well as various other taboos are related to the belief that preparation for the shroud should be done in sincerity and secredness with a thoughtful consideration for the deceased. This can be perceived as an implication to sanctity for the dead.

Numerical liquefaction model and response history analysis procedure are verified based on dynamic centrifuge test results. The test was a part of the Liquefaction Experiments Analysis Project (LEAP). The model ground was formed inside of rigid box by using the submerged Ottawa F65 sand with a relative density of 55% and 5° of surface inclination. A tapered sinusoidal wave with a frequency of 1 Hz was applied to the base of the model box. Numerical analyses were performed by two dimensional finite difference method in prototype scale. The soil is modeled to show hysteretic behavior before shear failure, and Mohr-Coulomb model is applied for shear failure criterion. Byrne's liquefaction model was applied to track the changes in pore pressure due to cyclic loading after static equilibrium. In order to find an appropriate flow condition for the liquefaction analysis, numerical analyses were performed both in drained and undrained condition. The numerical analyses performed under the undrained condition showed good agreement with the centrifuge test results.
