Purpose: Since 2010, many universities in Korea have been implementing Green Leader Training Programs which are usually run by students themselves. In the last five years of 2015, the Green Leader Training Program under the sponsorship of Korean Association for Green Campus Initiative has promoted the practice of a green campus and many relative projects have been carried out in various fields. Method: We utilized the green campus component index established by the Presidential Committee on Green Growth in Korea and have analyzed 480 activities during the years of 2010~2015. Result: We found that many activities were classified into the environmental field(264, 55.0%). This was followed by university members' participation(130, 27.1%), community engagement(68, 14.2%), and university management(18, 3.7%). These results showed that the green campus initiatives were focused on the environmental field. The number of universities participating from 2010 to 2015 were 20 in the metropolitan area and 15 in the non-metropolitan are. In the metropolitan area, 81.7% of green leader activities were conducted at universities in Seoul, and those in non-capital areas were active in the Middle region(51.3%) and Yeongnam region(48.7%). On the other hand, there was no activity in the Honam region, and it shows that there was a noticeable differential by regional groups.
This Study developed 'Environment Management Integrated Leader(EMIL)' program and evaluated the effect of the Program. The procedure of EMIL program development is as follows; 1) Identifying the training needs Through the interview and discussion with corporate environmental staff and research members, training need are collected. 2) Setting the training objectives 30 objectives are developed through specifying and organizing the training needs. 3) Determining the scopes of the program This program consists of the four scopes. First, the scope of Environmentally Acceptable Management is developed based on ISO 14000 and certification of environmentally friendly business. Second, the scope of Environmentally Acceptable Technology includes air pollution, water pollution, solid wasted management, and pollution prevention. Third, the scope of Integrated Environmental Management focuses on master plan, green marketing, green production, and green accounting. Finally, the scope of Integrated Environmental Concepts focuses on food pollution, environmental activities, and bio-diversity. 4) Selecting the training methods Various methods are used such as off-site visits, exercises, case study, workshop, discussion, role-playing as well as lecture. 5) Implementing the program 49 trainees participated the program for 6weeks. All trainees are working for D. Company Group. 6) Measuring training effects To evaluate the effects of the program, pre-post training evaluation method is used. The results are highly significant at all 4 scopes by the p<.01. This study has some implications in order to establish the environmental management climate. First, the development of new environmental education program for management is necessary. Second, Vast investment are required. Third, more systematic approaches are desired in environmental education. Lastly, more customized program development and implementation to fit in industries will accelerate the expansion of environmental concept.

This study aims to identify the influence of the image of Chinese Taekwondo leaders at university on the athlete's grit, psychological state, and performance. The analysis is expected to contribute to the quality development of Chinese universities' Taekwondo program in the future. For this study, a population was selected from athletes at a university in Henan Province, China. The samples were taken by convenience sampling method. Of the 380 questionnaires retrieved, a total of 365 were used to process the results, excluding 15 insincere responses or missing values. The collected data were conducted by frequency analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 23.0 program. The results of this study are as follows. First, the sub-factors of the leader image, the leader's social activities and vocational awareness, qualities, tasks and roles, were found to have a significant impact on the grit of taekwondo athletes. Second, the sub-factors of the leader image, the leader's social activities and vocational awareness, qualities, attitudes, tasks and roles had significant impact on the phychological state of taekwondo athletes. Third, social activities, vocational awareness, quality, and attitude of the leader, which are the sub-factors of the leader image, have a significant impact on the performance of taekwondo athletes.
Fashion industry is faced with issues of raising the competitiveness of established designers recently. As well as the change of business system, the specialization of professionals in design team increases the needs of in-service training of fashion designers. But, the education programs of enterprise are generally focused on adaptability to the organization and harmony among men as an introduction level. Furthermore, there are few professional institutions that give an education to the working-level designers. Thus, this study aimed at development of specialized in-service training program that could educate established designers for more integrated thought to cope with rapid changes in the fashion field. Firstly, the theoretical study on the in-service training and changes of fashion environment had been studied through literature review. Then, the current state of in-service training of fashion enterprises and the courses for established designers in fashion institutions were analysed. Finally, a comprehensive framework of in-service training program for fashion designers has been established as a result of this study. The program was designed in accordance with the previous research which reached 4 different educational needs for in-service training: brand planning and management, understanding production, understanding practical fabrics & colors, computer program. The study went further to apply the program to each design group divided by career: new designer, junior designer, senior designer, design leader. This study also suggested evaluation process to confirm the effects.
This study aimed to confirm the nature of the experiences of elderly living alone who participated in the BeHaS program using community-based participatory research. 6 elderly living alone with metabolic syndrome participated as participants, and they played a role as a leader when conducting the 12 weeks BeHaS program as a community-based participatory study. Data was collected using focus group interview. As a result, Six categories were derived; 'the burden of becoming a research participant', 'knowing a new program', 'getting into the BeHaS program', 'having a new leadership', 'knowing about metabolic syndrome health care', 'Feeling worth through a changed self'. Therefore, this study has identified the nature of the experience of participating in the BeHaS program for metabolic syndrome through a community participation-based study targeting the elderly living alone, and it will be able to provide basic data for the operation and program settlement strategies in the Community of the BeHaS program in the future.
In this paper, the purpose and overview of the "Frontier Leadership Program for Engineering Students through Joint Participation of Higher Education and the Industrial Sector" (FLC: Frontier Leadership Course) in Gunma University is reported together with our achievements during the last three years. The purpose of this special educational program is to promote and educate selected students who are highly motivated to learn science & mathematics and to become an active leader in industrial sectors or research institutes. The activity can be divided into two categories: "Student-Proposed Stream" and "Advanced Research Stream". These activities were found to be useful to cultivate student's leadership and global communication ability. Furthermore, most of the FLC students cultivated the excellent academic performance and five students among them will be allowed to skip their fourth undergraduate year and enter directly into our graduate school.
Background : As an empirical study, current research about the quality of social services carried out in general and teaching hospitals across the country. In the flux of health care reforms and market transformation, the quality of social services in the hospital becomes increasingly significant. Methods : A sample of total 80 hospitals, including general hospitals with one social worker at least and single-department hospital with two social workers or more, were identified nationwide through the registry of Korean Association of Medical Social Workers and Korean Association of Hospitals. The subjects of this survey were 80 leaders of social service units. The survey data from each subjects were measured to evaluate level of quality that service provider perceived of sample hospitals. Under the method of one-way ANOVA and multiple regression, the level of quality in social work service was analyzed. Results : The major findings were as following ; First, the level of quality perceived showed less score, especially the lowest was the score of quality of outcome. Second, the key variables of each hospital which turned out significantly different in quality of social work service were the departmental form of social work unit, unit leader's age, educational level, field experience, and job rank. Third, the level of quality of social work service correlated positively with the field experience of unit leader, the size of social work unit, the job rank of the unit leader. Conclusion : The most influential variables to the quality of social work service proved departmental form of social work unit, leader of social work unit. Therefore, to assure the proper level of quality, social work unit in hospital must be structured single, independent department in which entitled social worker is supposed to supervise and manage. And a leadership-development program for leaders in social work unit are strongly recommended.

Nursing students do a variety of learning at the practice field during clinical practice. They can recognize the importance and effectiveness of nursing leader. The purpose of this study was to categorize the types by analyzing what are important aspects of nursing leader's role to make effective practice environment nursing students experienced from training course. This research was used Q methodology to understand how nursing students recognize deeply. Participants were involved 30 nursing students who have experienced nursing practices. Q samples included 36 statements gathered from interviews with students who experienced clinical practices and literatures regarding types of nursing leader's role. Furthermore, major factors were analyzed and categorized by using QUANL PC program. As a result of research, there are 4 types of nursing leader's role. The first type is "Maintaining justice and level-headed", the second type is "Creating environment for motivation", the third is "Respecting character and growing capacity up" and the fourth is "Relationship center through confidence". Through the research process, this study is about to make evidences by understanding role of nursing leader for effective environment of practice field.
Purpose: The purpose of the study is to analyze the perception of swimming rating system. Research design, data, and methodology: In this study, practitioners and leaders of Korean swimming federation were selected as the subjects of the study to institutionalize the grade of swimming. Data analysis was categorized according to word frequency after coding using the Nvivo 12.0 program, and words were visualized using the word cloud program. PASW/WIN 21.0 was employed to analyze demographic characteristics. Triangular verification and expert meetings were conducted three times to increase the validity of the study. In these meetings, the study excluded subjective interpretation and errors of the researcher. Results: First, as a result of analyzing the perception of practitioners before educational training, 16 words and the total frequency of words was 21 times. Second, as a result of analyzing the perception of practitioners after educational training, 22 words and a total of 25 frequencies were found. Third, as a result of analyzing the leader's perception before educational training, 32 words and the total frequency of words was 63 times. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the leader's perception after educational training, 41 words and a total of 72 frequencies were found. Conclusions: Findings indicated divers feelings and thoughts of practitioners and leaders of Korean swimming federations towards swimming rating system. Further implications were discussed.
The study examined the effects of an intervention program for improving mother-child interaction behaviors of mothers with developmentally delayed young children. The program consisted of three main activities, lectures for good parenting, video-feedback of mother-child interactions, and consultation for problem behaviors of children. The subjects were 4 mothers of 5-6 years old children with developmental delays who were referred to a social competence program of a child counseling center. The mothers were identified to have problematic mother-child interaction behaviors through clinical interviews. The program ran for 16 sessions, one parent group leader implemented each session for 90-120 minutes once a week. The videotaped data of mother-child interactions for 10 minutes every 4 sessions were estimated by Maternal Behavior Rating Scale(MBRS) and qualitatively analyzed by transcription of communications between mothers and their children. It concluded that the intervention program enhanced mother-child interaction behaviors.
