The LBS (Location-Based Services) are valuable information services combined the location of moving object with various contents such as map, POI (point of Interest), route and so on. The must general service of LBS is route determination service and its applicable parts are FMS (Fleet Management System), travel advisory system and mobile navigation system. The core function of route determination service is determination of optimal route from source to destination in various environments. The MODB (Moving Object Database) system, core part of LBS composition systems, is able to manage current or past location information of moving object and massive trajectory information stored in MODB is value-added data in CRM, ERP and data mining part. Also this past trajectory information can be helpful to determine optimal route. In this paper, we suggest methods to determine optimal route by querying past trajectory information in MODB system and verify the effectiveness of suggested method.

As development of wireless communication technology has promoted mobility, Location Based Service (LBS) became embossed. The LBS is a service to recognize and utilize a location of a person or a thing through a device that ensures mobility based on wireless communication network. This paper thus researches on Healthcare Method to respond to emergency rapidly by recognizing a patient's location with the LBS. The LBS also provides location information of a user as well as remote management of organism data such as ECG data or pulse, which is transferred to a hospital or an emergency room.

스마트폰의 폭넓은 보급으로 LBS(위치기반서비스)에 대한 관심이 늘고 있다. 하지만 최근의 세월호 최초 신고자에게 위도와 경도를 해경이 문의할 정도로 LBS의 공공서비스 제공을 위한 시스템이 미비되어 있다. 특히 현재의 국내 LBS는 위치측위 오차범위의 한계가 커서 200M에서 1KM까지 오차가 발생하여 정밀한 위치 추적이 필요한 경우에는 위치정보의 실효성을 확보하기가 어렵다. 이에 5M 이내의 고정밀 위치측위 기술이 개발될 필요가 있다. 이를 기반으로 LBS의 공공서비스를 활성화할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 개방형 고정밀 LBS 플랫폼 구축을 위한 방안을 다양한 방법으로 연구하여 개방형 고정밀 LBS 플랫폼의 구축 목적과 비전 그리고 개방형 고정밀 LBS 플랫폼의 구성체계와 구축방안 그리고 개방형 고정밀 LBS 플랫폼의 운영 방안에 대해 살펴보았다. 그리고 개방형 고정밀 LBS 플랫폼의 공공부문 활용 방안과 중요도에 대해서 연구하였다.

무선 이동 통신망의 발전으로 단말의 현재 위치를 기반으로 한 다양한 위치 기반 서비스가 출현하고 있다. 와이브로 망과 같은 모바일 와이맥스 망에서도 LBS (Location Based Service) 서비스의 제공은 망 기술의 경쟁력을 제고하기 위해 매우 중요하다. 이를 위해, 와이맥스 포럼은 최근 LBS 서비스 제공을 위한 망 구조 및 프로토콜을 네트워크 워킹 그룹의 release 1.5 문서에 포함하여 표준화 하였다. 그동안 와이브로 망에서 측위에 관한 많은 연구가 있어 왔지만, 최근 확립된 와이맥스 포럼의 LBS 표준을 고려하여 표준에 적합한 위치 결정 방식에 관한 연구는 아직 없다. 본 논문에서는 와이맥스 포럼의 LBS 표준을 고려하여, 이에 부합하는 위치 결정 방식을 제안한다. 이 방식은, RTD (Round Trip Delay) 방식을 결합하여 기존 TDOA 방식을 개선하였다.

Location Based Services, or LBS refers to value-added service by processing information utilizing mobile user location. With the rapidly increasing wireless internet subscribers and world LBS market, the various location based applications are introduced such as buddy finder, proximity and security services. As the killer application of the wireless internet, the LBS has preconsidered technology about location determination technology, LBS middleware server for various application, and diverse contents processing technology. This paper describes the open architecture for LBS platform ensuring interoperability among the wireless networks and various location-based application services and the functional requirements for the LBS platform. The LBS platform in a narrow sense provides a standard interfaces for location management and network management for location services as follows, positioning (location acquisition through network or/and handset), location managing, location based functions, profile management, authentication and security, location based billing, information roaming between carriers and the system monitoring independent to specific network or ISP/CPs(Content Providers).

위치기반서비스는 이동기기의 위치정보를 바탕으로 한 향상된 서비스로 최근 스마트폰을 활용한 모바일 응용프로그램에서 부각되고 있다. 하지만 이와 관련한 기술 및 서비스 개발에 비해 위치기반서비스의 사용의도에 관한 실증연구는 아직까지 부족하다. 또한 선행연구들은 어느 한 요인을 중심으로 단편적으로 수행되었으며 사용의도와의 직접적인 영향 관계에 대해 제시하지 못한 한계점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 빠른 성장이 기대되는 위치기반서비스 시장에서 위치기반서비스 사용자의 위치기반서비스 수용의도 및 사용에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 관한 모델을 제시하였고 330명을 대상으로 하여 설문조사를 실시하여 이를 조사하였다. 자료를 분석한 결과 서비스 맞춤화, 서비스 품질과 개인적 혁신성은 위치기반서비스의 사용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 사용의도는 실제사용에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 위치기반서비스의 맥락 하에 서비스 맞춤화와 개인적 혁신성은 사생활보호염려에 영향을 미치지 않으며 사생활보호염려는 위치기반서비스 사용의도에도 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 실제로 위치기반서비스에서 사용자에게 요구되는 정보는 위치에 관한 정보로 금융거래에 관련한 정보에 비해 민감하지 않기 때문에 이러한 결과가 나왔다고 추측할 수 있으면 위치기반서비스 사용자들은 전자상거래와 같은 정보시스템 사용자들에 비해 사생활보호에 대해서 예민하게 받아들이기 보다는 위치기반서비스 사용의 이점을 더 중시한다고 이해할 수 있다. 위치기반서비스의 맞춤화가 사용자의 사용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 실증적 결과는 인공지능 등의 기술을 활용하여 사용자의 위치기반 서비스 사용 패턴을 분석함으로써 사용자의 정보수요 특성을 효과적으로 충족시켜줄 수 있는 맞춤화된 서비스의 제공으로 사용자의 사용의도를 강화시킬 수 있음을 시사하고 있다. 본 연구는 모바일 위치기반서비스 사용자의 사용의도와 실제사용에 미치는 요인들을 새롭게 다면적인 측면에서 실증적으로 조사하여 위치기반서비스와 관련하여 새로운 쟁점을 제시했으며 위치기반서비스 사용자의 사용의도와 실제사용에 대한 이해의 폭을 넓혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또한 본 연구의 결과는 위치기반서비스 시장의 성장과 사용자들에 대한 효과적 대응 전략을 수립하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

다양한 모바일 콘텐츠들 중에 모바일 게임은 이동통신사 서비스 중 킬러 콘텐츠 역할을 하고 있다. 또한 위치기반(LBS) 서비스는 급속도로 성장하고 있는 추세이며 차세대 킬러콘텐츠로 주목 받고 있다. 전문가 들은 향후 모바일 게임에 위치기반 기술이 결합된 형태의 LBS모바일 게임이 활성화될 것으로 기대하고 있다. 그러나 현재로써는 여러 가지 제약 조건으로 인해 활성화되지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 아직 활성화 되지못한 LBS 모바일게임의 활성화를 위한 문제점과 고려사항들에 대하여 2개의 LBS게임 의 사례를 비교 분석하여 개선점을 제시하고자 했다. 첫째는, 사용자에게 장기간의 네트워크 게임사용에 따른 요금 부담을 줄여주기 위해 새롭고 다양한 요금제가 필요 하다는 것이다. 둘째는, 개인정보호의 노출에 대한 우려를 없앨 수 있는 정보 보호 정책이 필요하다. 마지막으로 네트워크속도와 위치 정보 등에 관한 주변 인프라의 확충이다. 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 향후, 사용자가 개인정보가 보호된 상태로 편리하게 원하는 정보만을 받을 수 있는 데이터 수신에 관한 인터페이스 디자인에 관한 연구가 되어져야 한다.

In this paper, we developed those Directory Services based on the Web-Service, because Web-Service environments provide a suitable method to gather requested information in an appropriate way. The proposed architecture cooperate with other OpenLS(Open Location Service) Core Services ( Location Utility Service and Router Determin ation service) and is an interoperability one - it ident ifies those global elements of the global Web-Services network that are required in order to ensure interoperability between Web-Services. In this paper, a new architecture of Directory Service with OpenLS Core Services is proposed and tested in OpenLS Core Services environments.

본 연구의 목적은 위치기반서비스(Location-Based Service: LBS)에서 관계 품질과 L-로열티에 미치는영향에 대해 검증하는 것이다. LBS, 관계 품질, L-로열티에 관한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 연구모형 및 가설을 설정하였다. 본 연구에서는 위치기반서비스 이용자들을 대상으로 설문지를 배포하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 개인화, 지각된 가치는 몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 지각된 위험은 몰입에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개인화, 편재성, 지각된 가치는 만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 지각된 위험은 만족에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 몰입과 만족은 L-로열티에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 위치기반서비스에서 관계 품질과 로열티를 향상시키고 충성도 높은 고객을 확보할 수 있는 다양한 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

Recently, location-based service (LBS) is a hot issue in the field of computer applications. So many papers introducing new techniques of implementing a LBS and new application fields of LBS have been published recently. However, to the best of our knowledge, none of them discusses feasibility test in the prior to the implementation. The importance of a feasibility test for a design prior to the implementation cannot be overemphasized. This paper presents a method of feasibility test for a LBS design. Our method performs three steps. At the first step, we build a Petri net model of the LBS system which is depicted in natural language. The second step is to analyse the Petri net to find errors and flaws in the design. We also improve the Petri net model by fixing the errors and flaws in this step. A feasibility test is the third and final step. In this step. we verify if the design satisfies the user's requirement in the senses of quality of service (QoS) and of minimizing the implementation cost. The third step is performed in the manner of mathematical analysis of the Petri net.
