Identification of LAMP2 mutations in early-onset hypertrophic cardiomyopathy by targeted exome sequencing

  • X-linked dominant mutations in lysosome-associated membrane protein 2 (LAMP2) gene have been shown to be the cause of Danon disease, which is a rare disease associated with clinical triad of cardiomyopathy, skeletal myopathy, and mental retardation. Cardiac involvement is a common manifestation and is the leading cause of death in Danon disease. We report a case of a 24-month-old boy with hemizygous LAMP2 mutation who presented with failure to thrive and early-onset hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. We applied targeted exome sequencing and found a novel hemizygous c.692del variant in exon 5 of the LAMP2 gene, resulting a frameshift mutation p.Thr231Ilefs*11. Our study indicates that target next-generation sequencing can be used as a fast and highly sensitive screening method for inherited cardiomyopathy.

고압방전램프의 음향공명감소를 위한 주파수변조에 관한 연구 (A Study on Frequency-Modulated Methods for Reducing Acoustic Resonance in HID Lamp)

  • HID(high intensity discharge)lamps are high pressure mercury lamp, high pressure sodium lamp and metalhalide lamp. metalhalide lamp among these lamps has considered to be one of the most effective artificial light sources and this lamp has good efficiency, good color rendition and good focusing capability, But the shortcorning of metalhalide lamp is known as acoustic resonance phenomena in the discharge tube when lighted by electronic ballast and then acoustic resonance cause various problems such as the arc instability, light output fluctuations. In this paper, to reduce the acoustic resonence phenomena, the electronic ballast was designed by three methods for high frequency operation wish frequency-modulated sinusodial waves in acoustic resonance frequency band. These frequency-modulated methods are resonance frequency and resonance frequency, resonance frequency and non-resonance frequency non-resonance frequency and non-resonance frequency Experiment results could't show the Presence of acoustic resonance visually and it proved that the resonance-generating conditions can be avoided by continuously changing the two operating frequencies in acoustic resonance band (20.59kHz∼94.2kHz).

  • 고압방전등을 점등하기 위해서는 고전압의 시동전압이 필요하게 되는데, 이러한 시동전압은 고압력의 나트륨램프에서도 필요하게 된다. 자기장은 전기 방전튜브에서 만들어지게 되며 증기 원자에 대한 전자충돌이 가속화되면서 2차 전자가 발생하고 전기 방전튜브에 전류가 급속도로 흐르게 되며, 나트륨램프의 제작회사마다. 서로 다른 램프의 수명 및 교환시점도 서로 다르다는 것을 본 논문의 연구과정에서 발견하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 LabVIEW소프트웨어패키지를 사용 중인 나트륨램프의 교환시점의 알고리듬을 제안한다.

  • Driving the electrodeless fluorescent lamp, the high ac voltage with high frequency is required. The linear power amplifier has been widely used as a driving circuit of electrodeless fluorescent lamp. However, the low efficiency of the power amplifier causes th driving circuit to be replaced by a PWM switching inverter. In order to use a PWM switching inverter as the driving circuit of an electrodeless fluorescent lamp, the high switching frequency is required. But due to the switching loss at switches of the inverter, the limitation of high switching frequency appears in the inverter. One solution to this limitation is to reduce the switching loss by using the zero voltage switching technique. In this paper, zero voltage switching resonant inverter for driving an electrodeless fluorescent lamp is discussed. The results of analysis about the inverter are presented and the equations for design are established. And the validity of the analyzed results are verified through the experiment.

유리기판 위에 성장된 탄소나노튜브를 이용한 평판 램프의 전계방출 특성 (Field Emission Properties of Flat Lamp using Carbon Nanotubes Grownon Glass Substrate)

  • We fabricated the 1-inch diode type flat lamp using CNTs, which were grown directly on soda-lime glass substrate at 600 ∼ 650 $^{\circ}C$ by thermal chemical vapor deposition(CVD) of acetylene gas. Turn- on field was about 2.8 V/${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. We observed that uniform and high brightness had been obtained. The brightness of CNT flat lamp was measured up to about 14 kcd/$m^2$ at 2000V in spacing of 500 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. The results showed that the CNTs were very good emission source and suitable for application in the lamp.

오리 도체에서 등온유전자증폭기법을 이용한 Salmonella spp. 신속 고감도 검출 기법 연구 (Rapid and Sensitive Detection of Salmonella spp. by Using a Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification Assay in Duck Carcass Sample)

  • 본 연구에서는 Salmonella invA 유전자를 마커로 Salmonella 특이 LAMP primer를 제작하였고, inclusivity 및 exclusivity 실험 결과는 각각 100%로 관찰되었다. 순수 배양된 Salmonella 희석액에서의 검출한계는 18.17분에서 $3.2{\times}10^3$ CFU/mL ($R^2$ = 0.9446)으로 관찰되어 신속 간단하고 민감도가 높아 Salmonella 검출을 위한 방법으로 효과적일 뿐만 아니라 간접적인 정량기법으로서도 활용 가능함을 알 수 있었다. 1차 증균 배지인 BPW에 S. Enteritidis 접종 후 0시간 및 12시간 배양 후 LAMP의 검출한계는 각각 $3.2{\times}10^3$ CFU/mL 및 $3.2{\times}10^0$ CFU/mL으로 관찰되었고, 오리도체 시료가 포함된 BPW에 S. Enteritidis 접종 후 0시간 및 12시간 증균액에서의 LAMP 검출한계는 각각 $3.2{\times}10^3$ CFU/mL 및 $3.2{\times}10^0$ CFU/mL으로 관찰되어 PCR과 비교하였을 때 오리도체시료 성분에 의한 영향이 비교적 낮았음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 실제 도압장에서 채취한 오리도체시료를 BPW에 6시간 배양한 1차 증균액에 개발한 LAMP기법을 적용한 결과, 96%의 민감도 및 84%의 특이도를 보여 오리도체에서의 Salmonella 신속 스크리닝 기법으로서 효과적으로 활용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 2.5[kW]급 선박용 HID 탐사등 조명을 위한 Soft-start 개방회로 전압 및 정전류 순차 제어 방식을 제안한다. 제안된 제어회로는 HID 탐사등의 안정적인 점등을 위하여 개방회로 전압과 점등 전류를 순차적으로 제어하는 방식으로, 특히 전원투입 상태에서의 안정성을 위하여 일정한 입력전압에 대해서 Soft-start 기법을 적용하여 개방회로 전압 제어모드로 동작하도록 설계되었다. 또한, 점등개시 신호의 입력에 따라 제어모드를 전압제어에서 전류 제어모드로 변경하여 단일 PWM 제어소자에서 동시에 처리하도록 하였다. 한편, 입력 노이즈 및 개방회로 전압의 검출을 간단한 원칩 마이크로 프로세서로 구현하여, 오동작 및 점등 실패에 대한 강인성을 부가하도록 하였다. 제안된 제어기는 실제 선박용 HID 탐사등의 적용 시험을 통하여 그 안정성을 시험하였다.

  • Effects of illumination with xenon or sulfur lamp on growth of tomato seedlings were studied. Results showed no obvious differences in net photosynthetic rate and apparent quantum efficiency. In comparison with xenon lamp, illumination with sulfur lamp slightly reduced ChI a and ChI b content in leaves, relatively shortened epicotyl and hypocotyl length, but significantly increased anthocyanin content of leaves and promoted root growth of tomato seedling plants.

고휘도 RGB 발광다이오드를 이용한 광색가변형 전구의 설계 (Design of a Multi-Color Lamp Using High Brightness RGB LEDs)

  • This paper proposes the design of a multi-color lamp using high brightness RGB LEDs for color variation. Appropriate number of RGB LEDs is so chosen according to the color mixing theory that the overall LEDs represent a color temperature of 6500K. Also, the chosen RGB LEDs are suitably arranged by using an optical design program. The lamp has an internal controller circuit, so it can be directly connected to the existing incandescent lamp socket. It's main body is comprised of two PCB layers. The upper layer contains 44 LEDs and the lower one has a simple microcontroller-based PWM control circuit. The lamp has functions of both ON/OFF control and PWM control, and enables color variation of over 100,000 colors and of more than 10 patterns.

  • An electric power efficiency of electrodeless fluorescent lamp has big relativie property of gas in lamp, gas pressure, lamp formation, ingredients of magnetic substance and shape and action frequency etc. We used magnetic substance that open self-examination material of electrodeless fluorescent lamp antenna. Ferrite that is used in this experiment was Mn-Zn type. We have examined resistance kind, impedance, Q-factor's frequency characteristic by ferrite. Impedance, resistance and capacitance did not show difference in start frequency 2.65 [MHz] but there was difference quantity. We could know Q-factor's difference according to material, and Q-factor's is important part of antenna design.
