(Pb,Ba)(Zr,Ti)$O_3$계 세라믹스의 )$Y_2O_3$첨가에 따른 유전 및 전왜 특성 (Dielectric and electrostrictive properties of (Pb,Ba)(Zr,Ti))$O_3$ ceramics with $Y_2O_3$addition)

  • To decrease the hysteresis of electric field induced strain, $Y_{2}$ $O_{3}$ dopant of which amount is 0-0.8wt% was added to the (P $b_{0.73}$B $a_{0.27}$)(Z $r_{0}$ 75/ $Ti_{0.25}$) $O_{3}$ ceramics. Electromechanical coupling coefficients of the specimen with 0.1 Wt% $Y_{2}$ $O_{3}$ were $k_{p}$=26.9% and $k_{31}$ =20.4%, which exhibited the maximum value at the constant bias electric field of 10 kV/cm. At the same $Y_{2}$ $O_{3}$ addition amount, electric field piezoelectric constant ( $d_{3l}$) and strain(.DELTA.l/l) showed the maximum values of 139.6*10$^{-12}$ [C/N] and 126*10$^{-6}$ .DELTA. l/l respectively at 10 kV/cm electric field. And the hysteresis of strain showed the minimum value of 17.5%. So, we propose that it is possible to apply PBZT system with $Y_{2}$ $O_{3}$ dopant to the electrostrictive actuator.r.r.

  • LOA(Linear Oscillating Actuator) is composed of a voice coil type mover and permanent magnets. we have applied LOA to the active vibration control system to supress structual vibration. In this paper, the static test of the voice coil type LOA is treated. The thrust developed by LOA is calculated by measuring stroke.

  • In this paper. the lumped electrical circuit approach of mass/spring system is used to model the mechanical aspects according to the frequency. Therefore, the mass/spring system can be dealt with here and linked with the equivalent circuit of electric linear oscillatory actuator(LOA). Analysis models are double-coil type linear compressor for stirling refrigerator. The compressor consists of the moving coil LOA, piston, and spring. The electro-mechanical system with mass and spring can be represented using the lumped electrical circuit. We present the system impedance and dynamics of moving coil linear compressor.

  • High-precision position system is widely used in lots of fields such as semiconductor industry, biotechnology, display and other up-to-date industry field. One of the main issues is to have a long traveling range with precision. There are a few solutions. For instance, there are inchworm methods, lever principle. In this study, we use lever principle to amplify output displacement with a new mechanical amplification structure. We designed new type 3DOF stage with PZT actuator and capacitive sensor. Non-monolithic structure is suggested to obtain the convenience of assembly and modification. Driving parts are designed as modules that generate displacement amplification of each axis. Designed motion module consists of 3 flexure hinges and a PZT actuator with double L lever structure.

  • In this study, multilayer structured ultrasonic linear motor was simulated using Atila for investigating its optimum driving conditions. The ultrasonic linear motors mainly consist of an ultrasonic vibrator to generate elliptical displacement. The ultrasonic linear motor simulated in this paper was the use of the 1st longitudinal(Ll) and 4th bending vibrations (B4). Whit the increase of the number of piezoelectric actuator layers, displacement of node was increased. Maximum total displacement of node was about $3,91{\mu}m$ at the 13 layered ultrasonic motor under 5 V.

나노패턴 세정을 위한 소형 메가소닉 모듈 개발 (Development of a Small-type Megasonic Module for Nano-scale Pattern Cleaning)

  • A small L-type megasonic module for nano-pattern cleaning was designed and manufactured. The impedance graph of the quartz waveguide with a piezoelectric actuator was predicted using finite element method (FEM). The peak value of the piezoelectric actuator alone was 3.373 MHz, which was the same as the experimentally measured value of 3.373 MHz (0.0% error). In addition, the maximum impedance value of the quartz waveguide with the actuator was 3.373 MHz, which agreed well with the measured value of 3.362 MHz (0.3% error). The acoustic pressures of a conventional megasonic system (3 MHz) and the developed system under similar conditions were measured and compared. The results showed that the maximum values and standard deviations of the developed system decreased by 29% and 18%, respectively, compared with the conventional type. This suggests that the small L-type would have higher particle removal efficiency with lower possibilities of pattern damages.

EGR 밸브 액추에이터 모델링 (Modeling of EGR Valve Actuator)

  • In this paper, an exact mathematical model is derived for an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve actuator driven by an H-bridge converter. Particularly, a spring torque model of the EGR valve is proposed. The spring torque model is proposed by converting spring force and Coulomb frictional force in linear motion into a rotational torque. Moreover, a mechanical end-stop model was proposed by the valve mechanism. The accuracy of the proposed model is verified by comparing the experimental results with the simulated results.

Effect of Room Temperature Ionic Liquids Adsorption on Electromechanical Behavior of Cellulose Electro-Active Paper

  • The cellulose smart material called electro-active paper (EAPap) is made by regenerating cellulose. However, the actuator performance is degraded at low humidity levels. To solve this drawback, EAPap bending actuators were made by activating wet cellulose films in three different room-temperature ionic liquids: l-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexaflurophosphate ($BMIPF_6$), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride (BMICL) and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluroborate ($BMIBF_4$). In the results, the actuator performance was dependent on the type of anions in the ionic liquids, in the order of $BF_4$>Cl>$PF_6$. The BMIBF 4-activated actuator showed the maximum displacement of 3.8 mm with low electrical power consumption at relatively low humidity. However, the BMICL-activated actuator showed a slight degradation of actuator performance. Further performance and durability improvement will be possible once various ionic liquids are blended with cellulose.

박테리아의 주화성에 의한 미세입자의 운동 (Motion of Microbeads Propelled by Bacterial Chemotaxis)

  • Micro actuator의 동력원으로 박테리아 주화성을 기반으로 한 편모박테리아 운동은 널리 연구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 마이크로입자 추적유속계($\mu$-PTV)를 이용하여 박테리아 주화성에 의해 추진되는 형광입자의 움직임을 분석하였다. 일반적으로 활발한 운동성을 지니고 있는 편모 박테리아 중 Serratia marcescens가 배양액속에서 형광 폴리스티렌 미세입자 표면에 자발적으로 붙게 된다. 박테리아가 부착된 미세입자를 고형화된 화학적 유인물질 L-aspartate가 담겨져 있는 유체 속으로 주입하고, 시간에 따라 입자들이 서서히 L-aspartate가 높은 농도를 가지는 구역으로 이동하는 것을 관찰하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 편모박테리아가 micro actuator의 효율적인 동력원 개발에 적용될 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문은 동적 시스템인 구동기의 강건설계를 수행한 결과를 제시한다. 구동기를 구성하는 부품들의 변량은 구동기의 성능에 변량을 유발한다. 따라서 부품들의 변량에 둔감한 구동기의 성능을 확보하기 위해 구동기에 대해서 강건설계를 수행하였다. 구동기를 구성하는 부품들을 전달함수로 표현하여 시뮬링크 모델로 구축하였으며, 시뮬링크 모델을 이용하여 설계 변수 조합에 따른 구동기의 응답을 얻었다. 또한 반응표면법을 적용하여 구동기의 응답을 설계 변수들의 2차 함수로 근사화하였다. 구동기응답을 출력으로 하는 근사화된 모델에 확률적 설계방법을 적용하여 강건한 구동기의 성능을 위한 최적 설계변수를 결정하고 기존 설계와 비교한 결과를 제시하였다.
