회화나무(Sophora japonica)를 가해하는 줄마디가지나방(Chiasmia cinerearia (Bremer et Grey))의 발생 및 생태적 특성 (Occurrence and Ecological Characteristics of Chiasmia cinerearia(Bremer et Grey)(Lepidoptera: Geometridae) Attacking Sophora japonica)

  • 자나방과(Geometridae), 가지나방아과(Ennominae)에 속하는 줄마디가지나방(Chiasmia cinerearia)은 중부지방의 회화나무 가로수 및 조경수를 가해하는 대표적인 수목 해충이다. 본 연구의 결과 줄마디가지나방은 주로 잎 위에 250~300개의 알을 무더기로 산란하였으며, 유충은 총 5령기를 거쳐 용화되었다. 성충은 5월 초순과 7월 말경에 2회 우화하였으며, 1세대 경과일수는 약 48일로 조사되었다. 유충의 몸길이는 25~30 mm 정도이며 연녹색을 띠고 복부의 옆선은 황색이었다. 성충의 날개편 길이는 30~35 mm 정도이며 회갈색을 띠며 앞날개 외횡선을 중심으로 4각형의 무늬가 무리지어 있는 것이 특징이다.

  • 컨테이너 터미널에서 컨테이너의 양 하역 작업 시 컨테이너 크레인을 정위치에 고정시키고, 돌풍으로 인해 컨테이너 크레인이 레일방향으로 미끄러지는 것을 방지하는 장치가 레일클램프이다. 쐐기형 레일클램프는 초기에는 작은 압착력으로 레일을 압착하다가 풍속이 증가하면 쐐기작용에 의해 압착력이 증가하는 방식을 취함으로서 구조적으로 안정성과 내구성이 높은 장점을 가지고 있다. 본연구에서는 레일클램프의 주요부인 조에 대해 형상최적설계를 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 솔리드 요소로 유한요소 모델링된 조(jaw)의 경량화 설계를 위하여 강도를 고려하였다. 설계변수로는 조의 측면부의 두께, 조의 중간부의 롤러지지부의 두께, 조의 하단부의 롤러지지부의 두께, 조의 곡면부의 위치로 설정하였다. 본 연구에서는 상용프래그램인 ANSYS WORKBENCH의 최적화 기능을 이용하였다.

A Study on Design of Anti-Sway Controller for ATC using Two Degree of Freedom PID Control

  • In this paper, an ATC(Automated Transfer Crane) control system is required rapid transportation to get highest productivity with low cost. Therefore, the container paths should be built in terms of the least time and least sway when container is transferred from the initial coordinate to the finial coordinate. So we applied the best-first search method for forming the container path, and calculated the anti-collision path for avoiding collision in its movement to the finial coordinate. And we constructed the neural network two degree of freedom PID (TDOFPID) controller to control the precise navigation. For simulation, we constructed the container profiles so that we analyzed the state of formed path and the performance of TDOFPID controller to the formatted path. Then we compared the performance of ES-tuned PID controller with our proposed controller in terms of trolley position, anti-sway, path change, disturbance, and the load of containers. The computer simulation results show that the proposed controller has better the other on the various conditions.

호텔조리사의 조직문화유형과 혁신행동 관계에 라포의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Rapport on the Relationship between Organizational Culture Type and Innovative Behavior of Hotel Chefs)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of rapport on the relationship between type of organizational culture and innovative behavior of hotel chefs. In order to accomplish the research purpose, data were collected from 202 chefs working at five-star hotels located in Gwangju and Jeonnam areas, and SPSS 22.0 Program was used to conduct frequency analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, regression analysis and mediation effect analysis. The results of the study were as follows. Firstly, it was found that innovative behaviors of hotel chefs are significantly affected by three types of organizational culture: rational culture, consensual culture, and developmental culture. Secondly, it was found that rational and consensual culture have significant effect on rapport. Thirdly, it was found that better-formed rapport in hotel chefs significantly remarkably influences their innovative behavior. Fourthly, the study results revealed that rapport has a mediating effect on the relationship between type of organizational culture and innovative behavior of hotel chefs. Thus, in order to induce voluntary innovative behaviors from building rapport in the hotel organization, it is necessary to develop and implement effective strategies which will form a work environment where chefs can freely engage in mutual exchanges and build trust with one another.

  • In recent years, industrial demands for superior mechanical properties of powder metallurgy steel components with low cost are rapidly growing. Sinter hardening that combines sintering and heat treatment in continuous one step is cost-effective. The cooling rate during the sinter hardening process dominates material microstructures, which finally determine the mechanical properties of the parts. This research establishes a numerical model of the relation between various cooling rates and microstructures in a sinter hardenable material. The evolution of a martensitic phase in the treated microstructure during end quench tests using various cooling media of water, oil, and air is predicted from the cooling rate, which is influenced by cooling conditions, using the finite element method simulations. The effects of the cooling condition on the microstructure of the sinter hardening material are found. The obtained limiting size of the sinter hardening part is helpful to design complicate shaped components.

Primary amelanotic melanoma of the mandibular gingiva

  • Oral mucosal melanoma is a very rare type of malignant melanoma, the characteristics of which differ from those of cutaneous melanoma. Primary amelanotic melanoma of the mandibular gingiva, which can invade the mandibular bone, is very rare worldwide. Here, we report a case in which we performed a reconstruction of the mandible and gingiva using the fibula osteocutaneous free flap procedure to treat a patient diagnosed with a primary amelanotic melanoma of the mandibular gingiva. The procedure was successful, and no recurrence was observed 10 months after surgery. Oral mucosal melanoma has a much poorer prognosis and a lower 5-year survival rate than cutaneous melanoma. However, recently, immunomodulatory therapies for mutations in melanocytic lesions have been used effectively to treat the increasing number of patients developing this type of melanoma, thus improving the prognosis of patients with oral mucosal melanoma.

선미파, 선미사파를 받는 선박의 과도 운동 추정에 대한 연구 (Prediction of Extreme Ship Motions in Following and Quartering Seas)

  • Recently, researches to find rational mathematical model for prediction of capsizing have been progressed by ITTC. Lee(1997) developed a mathematical model which describes 6 DOF transient motions, such as capsizing, of a ship in regular waves. In this study a mathematical model for prediction of capsizing in following and quartering seas is developed based on Lee's model. And factors affecting prediction of capsizing are analyzed through comparing simulation results with experimental results. Present simulation results are compared with ITTC bench mark test results. In rolling tests with beam seas and tree runs with stern quartering seas, capsizing events are predicted well. But calculated roll angle is larger than experimental one. It is found that nonlinear manoeuvring coefficients don't affect the prediction of capsizing events.

  • 오늘날 철강 냉간압연의 응용분야에서는 고성능의 장력제어와 높은 신뢰도, 역률 개선, 공장의 생산성 향상 등을 요구하고 있다. 기존의 직류전동기를 대체하는 가변속 교류전동기 구동시스템과 고주파 PWM, 그리고 높은 역률을 보장하는 PWM 컨버터에 의해 이러한 요구사항들은 만족될 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 위에서 언급된 제어요건을 보장하는 철강 생산 설비용 1MVA급 압연시스템을 설명한다. 본 시스템은 하나의 ac/dc PWM 컨버터와 각각 700kw 유도전동기를 구동하는 두대의 PWM 인버터로 구성되어 있다. 제어 알고리듬은 TMS320C40 디지탈 신호처리 프로세서(이하 DSP) 시스템을 이용하여 구현하였다.

Predictive Control for Linear Motor Conveyance Positioning System using DR-FNN

  • In the maritime container terminal, LMTT(Linear Motor-based Transfer Technology) is horizontal transfer system for the yard automation, which has been proposed to take the place of AGV(Automated Guided Vehicle). The system is based on PMLSM (Permanent Magnetic Linear Synchronous Motor) that is consists of stator modules on the rail and shuttle car (mover). Because of large variant of mover's weight by loading and unloading containers, the difference of each characteristic of stator modules, and a stator module's trouble etc., LMCPS (Linear Motor Conveyance Positioning System) is considered as that the system is changed its model suddenly and variously. In this paper, we will introduce the soft-computing method of a multi-step prediction control for LMCPS using DR-FNN (Dynamically-constructed Recurrent Fuzzy Neural Network). The proposed control system is used two networks for multi-step prediction. Consequently, the system has an ability to adapt for external disturbance, cogging force, force ripple, and sudden changes of itself.
