Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Korean version of Person-Centered Practice Inventory-Staff (PCPI-S) for nurses. Methods: The English PCPI-S was translated into Korean with forward and backward translation. Data were collected from 338 nurses at one general hospital in Korea. Construct validity was evaluated with confirmatory factor analysis, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. Known-group validity was also evaluated. Cronbach's α was used to assess the reliability. Results: The PCPI-S Korean version consisted of 51 items in three areas: prerequisites, the care environment, and person-centered process. The comparative fit index (CFI) and values of person-centered care process were improved after engagement and having sympathetic presence items were combined as one component. The construct validity of PCPI-S Korean version was verified using four-factor structures (.05 < RMSEA < .10, AGFI > .70, CFI > .70, and AIC). The convergent validity and discriminant validity of the entire PCPI-S question were verified using a two-factor structures (AVE > .50, construct reliability > .70). There was an acceptable known-group validity with a significant correlation between the PCPI-S level and the degree of person-centered care awareness and education. Internal consistency was reliable with Cronbach's α .95. Conclusion: The Korean version of PCPI-S is valid and reliable. It can be used as a standardized Korean version of person-centered care measurement tool. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the reliability and validity of the Korean version of Diabetes Empowerment Measurement Scale Short Form (DES-SF) for use with diabetic patients in Korea. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was used with 107 participants. Bilingual nursing professionals performed translation and reverse translation. Reliability and validity such as face validity, construct validity, and concurrent validity were conducted. To assess the concurrent validity, the correlation coefficients between the Korean version of the DES-SF and a concurrent scale (Diabetes Self-Efficacy Scale, DSES) were calculated. Results: In the explanatory factor analysis, a uni-dimension was proposed, the one factor accounted for 49.4% of total variances. The Korean version of the DES-SF correlated with a concurrent variable such DSES for reliability of the Korean version of the DES-SF, Cronbach's ${\alpha}=.85$. Conclusion: The findings show that the Korean version of the DES-SF is reliable and valid for evaluating empowerment in patients with diabetes in Korea.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to systematically analyze the reliability and validity of the Korean-version of the balance assessment tools. METHODS: Two reviewers of this study independently evaluated the titles of articles and abstracts of studies published until December 2016 through electronic databases (RISS, NDSL, KISS, DBpia) using the keywords "Balance or posture or postural control or postural stability", "Test or assessment or measurement or outcome measure or assessment tool or measurement tool", "Korean version", "Reliability" and "Validity". Regarding the questions considered suitable for the purpose of this study, consensus was reached after reading the full text. Selecting journals suitable for the purpose of the study, they were analyzed as data. RESULTS: The reviewers selected nine papers suitable for the purpose of this study, and Korean-version of the balance assessment tools, included the Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Activities-specific Balance Confidence (ABC) scale, Postural Assessment Scale for Stroke (PASS), Motor Assessment Scale (MAS), Trunk Impairment Scale (TIS), Falls Efficacy Scale (FES), Tinetti-Balance scale, Fullerton Advanced Balance (FAB) scale, and Function In Sitting Test (FIST). Our study showed that the reliability and validity of the Korean-version of the balance assessment tools were high. CONCLUSION: The Korean-version of the balance assessment tools with high reliability and validity would enable physical therapists to make a more accurate evaluation of balance.

본 연구의 목적은 수정된 노팅엄 감각평가(rNSA)를 한국판으로 번역하고 검증하는 것이었다. 수정된 rNSA를 한국어로 번역하기 위해 번안/역번안 과정을 사용하여 단면 연구가 수행되었고, 한국판 rNSA의 유효성을 조사하기 위하여 평가자간 및 평가자내 신뢰도, 내적일관성 및 동시타당도를 조사하였다. 한국판 rNSA는 평가자간 신뢰도(r=0.92-1.00), 평가자내 신뢰도(r=0.93-1.00)로 높은 신뢰도를 확인하였고, 한국판 Fugl Meyer의 감각항목과의 유의한 상관관계(r=0.96)를 확인하였다. 한국판 rNSA의 내적일치도에 대한 Cronbach 값은 0.73-0.90의 범위이고, 한국판 Fugl Meyer의 감각항목의 Cronbach 값은 0.70-0.88의 범위였다. 이 결과로, 한국판 rNSA의 신뢰도 및 타당도를 확인하였으며, 임상환경에서 뇌졸중 이후 감각기능을 평가하는 것이 가능할 수 있다고 생각한다.

Objectives : To develop a Korean version of VSSS-82 for measuring the multi-dimensional satisfaction with community-based mental health services in psychiatric patients and to investigate both the reliability and validity of the Korean version. Methods : The VSSS-82 English version was translated and back-translated with some modification. Data from 68 psychosis patients using community-based mental health services in three Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) was collected through a personal interview survey regarding the satisfaction and suitability of service. Variability of satisfaction and internal consistency, discriminant validity, and concurrent validity of the VSSS-82 Korean version were evaluated. Results : A higher number of dissatisfied subjects and significant pairwise differences for the dimensions were found. The Crohnbach's alpha coefficient, a measure of internal consistency, ranged from 0.56(overall satisfaction) to 0.90(skills and behavior) and significant differences in satisfaction was found in patients by the self-rated suitability of service. Conclusions : The VSSS-82 Korean version is a reliable and valid instrument for measuring multi-dimensional satisfaction with community-based mental health service.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to translate the original English version of tampa scale for kinesiophobia for temporomandibular disorders (TSK-TMDs) for cultural equivalency into Korean language and to evaluate the reliability of the Korean version of the TSK-TMD among symptom free subjects. Methods: The original version of TSK-TMD was translated and cross-culturally adapted following international guidelines. A total 90 subjects (50 women, 40 men) were participated to fill out the questionnaire. The internal consistency and test-retest reliability with a one- or two-week time interval were evaluated. Results: The internal consistency of TSK-TMD of the original and the modified 12-item TSK-TMD were 0.866, and 0.858, respectively using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient. And the internal consistency of activity avoidance (AA) and somatic focus (SF) subscale were 0.838 and 0.807 assessed with Cronbach's alpha indicating excellent reliability. Test-retest reliability of the original TSK-TMD measured by the intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) was 0.764, and coefficients value of the 12-question TSK-TMD was 0.752. Test-retest reliability of AA subscale was 0.722 and SF subscale was 0.677 measured by ICC. Conclusions: The Korean version of the TSK-TMD questionnaire was found to be a reliable instrument and successfully translated to Korean language. There are no significant differences between overall and modified version of TSK-TMD. It can be used as a valuable instrument for the analyses of the psychosocial aspects of the TMD patients in Korea.

This study is focused on modeling to predict the behavior of two-way RC slabs. A new finite element model will be presented to analyze the nonlinear behavior of RC slabs. The numerical approach is based on the p-version degenerate shell element including theory of anisotropic laminated composites, theory of materially and geometrically nonlinear plates. In the nonlinear formulation of this model, the total Lagrangian formulation is adopted with large deflections and moderate rotations being accounted for in the sense of von Karman hypothesis. The material model is based on the Kuper's yield criterion, hardening rule, and crushing condition. The validity of the proposed p-version nonlinear RC finite element model is demonstrated through the load-deflection curves and the ultimate loads. It is shown that the proposed model is able to adequately predict the deflection and ultimate load of two-way slabs with respect to steel arrangements and steel ratios.

Recently, business environments have been changing quickly. To establish competitive advantage, most enterprises have been using information systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Many consider Business Process Management (BPM) a new innovative solution for enterprise-wide processes. As the BPM system is used more widely and matures, new techniques and functions will be developed by commercial vendors. However, they mainly focus on correctly executing process models, and user convenience has not been considered. In this paper, we have developed a new method of designing business processes, which provides users with an easy modeling interface. The method is based on version management. Version management of a process enables a history of the process model to be recorded. In order to prevent wasted storage, not all of the process versions are stored. An initial version and changes to each process are stored by automatically detecting changes. Our method enhances the convenience of the modeling business processes and thus helps the process designer. A prototype system is presented to verify the effectiveness of our method.

빠르게 변하는 정보화 사회에서 방대한 양의 문서 정보를 전자 문서로 만들고 관리하는 것은 필수적이다. 이러한 전자 문서를 표현하는 데 있어서 사용하는 문서 내에 포함된 모든 정보를 손실 없이 저장하고 관리하는데 적합한 언어가 전자 문서의 표준인 XML이다. 본 논문에서는 문서의 변경이 발생한 경우에 문서 전체가 아닌 변경이 발생한 내용만 버전을 부여하고 저장함으로써 저장 공간을 절약하였다. 그리고 문서의 변경 내용이 일정한 크기 이하이면 JOIN 연산을 생략할 수 있도록 시스템을 설계함으로써 JOIN 연산으로 인한 시스템의 성능 저하를 줄여 효율적인 XML 문서 저장과 빠른 검색 및 버전 관리가 가능한 방안을 제시하고, 이를 적용한 문서 저장 관리 시스템을 구현하였다.

In this paper we present a newly improved telescope control software and a newly developed data analysis software package for effective use of the Solar Flare Telescope(SOFT) The telescope control software permits us to make not only auto tacking of the SOFT, but also quantitative measurement of the solar irradiation, allowing us to provide weather monitorings. In addition we introduce an IDL widget software package for both monochromatioc (MONO version) and polarimetric data (VMG version) analysis. The MONO version is capable of loading FITS files, changing colors and contrast, image processing, displaying plots, and saving displayed plots by selected formats The VMG version, on the other hand provides a calibration of polarimetric data and plots of reduced vector magnetic fields.
