In resolving industrial quality control problems, a vector of multiple quality characteristic variables is involved rather than a single variable. However, it is not guaranteed that a multivariate control chart based on statistical methods can monitor abnormal signal in case that small changes of relationship between each variables causes abnormal production process. Hence a quality control system for real-time monitoring of the multi-dimensional quality characteristic vector under a multivariate normal process is needed to enhance tile production system quality performance. A pattern analysis approach based on self-organizing map (SOM), an unsupervised learning technique of neural network, is applied to the design of such a quality control system. In this study we present a new material quality control system based on pattern analysis approach and illustrate the effectiveness of proposed system using actual electronic company material data.

In EMS(environmental management system), environmental documents are very important elements to achieve ISO 14000 series certification. A organization or company which hope to acquire the certification must prescribe daily operation procedure and document them properly. Also these documents must be updated in new version. Especially, environment manual, describing EMS factors and correlation between them, is a basic document system. Therefore, a proper manual management tool help a organization or company to reduce the efforts to establish and to revise documents. So, in this paper we will present environment manual management system using database and a, pp.ication computer program.

Quality Management is a recent phenomenon. This is applied to products or services, with an objective to deliver high quality, reliable, worthy, enduring, product or service. The process is considered to have four main components: quality planning, quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement. Focusing on quality control and quality assurance leads to achieving quality management or ensures that an organization or product is consistent. In this paper, the applicable international standard for learning services and for the organization for education and training (learning service provider) is discussed and also the procedure to implement the management system.

Purpose: This study is to search for the core factors of improving business performance of small and medium venture manufacturing company and to do an in-depth analysis of the relations with management performance through systematic approach and to provide implications of importance of the management for the improvement factors for the domestic small and medium venture manufacturing company. Methods: The data have been analyzed via the regression and path analysis using AMOS. Results: this study is absorptive capacity affects the business performance of manufacturing companies. absorptive capacity has the role of the parameters of the Quality Management System and business performance. Conclusion: This study suggests how to run absorptive capacity according to type of management performance, and how to enhance Quality Management System to efficiently promote absorptive capacity in order to grow of management performance. also, this study shows a way to enlarge the valuation standard for management and customer performance reflecting the growth potential of an enterprise in circumstance where the valuation standard focuses on financial performance.

This study aims to investigate the effect of quality management system in the shipping companies on the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, management performance. The quality management system is divided into operational accountability, employee management, crewman management, ship management, and sailing management based on previous study. Targets of survey are companies which are registered in Korean ship owner's association and Korea ship manager's association as of 2011. A total of 236 questionnaires are collected from shipping companies in Basan and Kyongnam from October 15 through November 5 in 2011. The result shows that operational accountability and employee management of quality management systems are mightily important in the shipping company. In the future research, based on analysis of shipping company's characteristics, the study for shipping companies which are perceived by customers could be conducted.

An integrated water environment management system is necessary in improving water quality, properly allocating water resources, and supporting socio-economic development. Specifically, water quality management system using web map can be an efficient approach to accomplish this system. This paper aims to construct a dynamic water quality management system to reflect a water environment management system which includes three sub-models with consideration of their interrelationships (a socio-economic model based on dynamic Input-Output model, a water resources cycle model, and a water pollutants flow model). Based on simulation, the model can precisely estimate trends of water utilization, water quality, and economic development under certain management targets, and propose an optimal plan. This study utilized the model to analyze the potential of using reclaimed water to accomplish local water environment management and sustainable development plan while exploring the applicable approaches. This study indicates that the constructed water environment management system can be effective and easily adopted to assess water resources and environment while improving the trade-off between economic and environment development, as well as formulate regional development plan.

Purpose: The study proposes extended application of reviewing and developing international quality assurance system for useful and practical quality stabilization of foreign military product. There are several problems with quality assurance activities for foreign military products. To improve theses problems, this study researches measures and effects of entrustment of quality assurance activities to suppliers group abroad by utilizing the system. Methods: In order to carry out the research, consignment system for international quality assurance activity of advanced country has been analysed through this study. By applying the consignment system to the case of foreign military product, the possibility and effects of consignment is researched. Results: Through this study the procedure and substance of the international quality assurance system is verified. The quality assurance activities were consigned to suppliers group by utilizing the system, thus application basis for international quality assurace activities is established. Conclusion: Defense Import through The Quality Assurance System of trade countries using the International Quality Assurance System suggests the solution to endemic problems. The Introduction Military Product with the Quality Assurance System of Korean Government improves the competitiveness of defense export.

To satisfy the needs of customers, firms must supply customers with products of high quality. This requires firms establish a quality management system which pursues customer satisfaction in a business strategy. Quality management must be connected with the strategic chain and the firm can obtain excellent performances only when top management leadership which places people over profit is exercised. The purpose of this study is to analyse whether elements of strategic quality management has any effect on quality and business performances. A questionnaire was used for the survey. In this study, it is showed that elements of strategic quality management(strategy, leadership, customer satisfaction, quality improvement activity, technological innovation, shop floor management, employee participation) are positively correlated with the quality and business performances. This tells firms have to carry out the strategic quality management effectively based on the strategic chain and emphasizing leadership.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of quality property of hospital information system, the quality level, and its effects. The participants were 730 employees who are using hospital information system in hospitals. In order to analyze the relationship, the quality property regulates the consideration of user's taste and the state of user's favor for the design of hospital information system, and the quality level regulates user's convenience and properness. The main results from this study can be summarized as follows, First, the perception of quality property for hospital information system showed few significance level between occupation, but revealed significance level between position. The evaluation of quality level showed significance level depending on the occupation and position. Second, quality property which generally affects to the quality level of the hospital information system were different between types of occupation and quality factor.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to introduce the improving attorney system. It was confirmed by document writing that the staff in the field in Korea had the most difficulty in the Quality circle activities. The reform improving attorney is a quality expert at the Quality Secretariat and assists them in their documentation. Methods: Just as a patent attorney helps to get a patent, an improving attorney system helps document the improvement results of the field Quality circle and even standardizes the company. The process of introducing an improving attorney includes the declaration of an improving attorney are 11 levels of work. Results: An improving attorney was conducted in 600 organizations for 18 months. As a result of the comparison of the number of cases before and after the introduction of the improving attorney, the number of solution problem was lowered to 9 before 2016 and 8 in 2017, but after the introduction, it increased exponentially to 181 in 2018 and 162 in August 2019. In 2016 and 2017, only one standard was registered, but 64 standards were registered in 2018 and 71 in 2019. Conclusion: In this case, the improving attorney system was found to be helpful in activating the Quality circle. It is expected to revitalize Korea's Quality circle by spreading the improving attorney system to many companies.
