A Study on the Current Status and Problems of Medical Librarian Qualification System and Medical Librarians' Self- Efficacy and Self-Esteem (국내 의학사서자격제의 현황과 문제점 및 의학사서의 자기효능감과 자아존중감에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigated the current status and problems of medical librarian qualification system and measured medical librarians' self-efficacy and self-esteem. 49.4% of the respondents acquired medical librarian qualification and 82.9% of them are willing to re-acquire the qualification. To obtain publishing activity point was the most difficult of all evaluation items. Average self-efficacy score was 3.42, and self-esteem score was 3.89, and women's self-efficacy and self-esteem scores are higher than those of men. Medical librarian qualification system has been managed in a stable manner, yet the system has to be consolidated and developed into a national qualification system so that it can contribute to the improvements in proficiency of medical librarians.

A Study on Development Skill Framework and Analysis of It's Linkage to National Technical Qualification Items in Machinery Sector (기계분야 직무체계 개발과 국가기술자격종목 연계실태 분석 연구)

  • The goal of this study is an analysis on linkage system between in machinery sector. The development of skill framework and national technical qualification items. This paper researched skills and created the skill level through reviewing domestic & foreign documents, interview with experts and in-depth discussions with expert group focusing on terminologies commonly used in the industrial settings. As a result of skill classification, authors were able to classify skills into three categories in medium-scale classification and 11 categories in small-scale classification, and also into total 42 categories through the re-classification of the small-scale classification. The skill level in the area of machine were classified the skill level in the area of machine into 7 level by reflecting the level system of the korean qualification frameworks, qualification and education course, and skill level in the industrial setting. Based on the skill frameworks, we provided definition of skill and skill group, definition of each different skill, and performance standards by skill and level. also, This paper suggests improving measure of national technical qualification items through analysizing linkage situation between skill frameworks & qualification items.

A Case Study on the Operation of the Qualification Training Curriculum for Level 1 Librarian Teachers (사서교사 1급 자격연수 교육과정 운영 사례 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the actual state of the curriculum on how qualification training is organized and operated based on the operation case of the K University Education and Training Institute, which operated librarian teacher (level 1) qualification training was held during the summer vacation of 2021. As a result of the study, a total of 111 librarians participated in the actual qualification training, of which 50 librarian teachers (4 males, 46 females) were from elementary schools, 24 (4 males, 20 females) from middle schools, and 37 (5 males, 32 females) from high schools. In addition, the curriculum for qualification training consisted of core competencies and subjects that met the scope of the job of the 'learner strength development' and the 'librarian role statement', and the satisfaction ratio of the 111 librarian teachers who participated in the qualification training averaged 4.76 out of 5. Overall, the satisfaction was high, but it was suggested on the areas that were either the lowest or lower than average.

  • The aim of this study was to explore the current status, and public policy issues related to child counselors, with a special focus on training programs and integrating such training into the national qualification system in Korea. The number of children manifesting various social and emotional developmental problems have increased recently. Thus, there is a clear and growing need for suitably qualified specialists to help them and their parents. Child counselors (CCs) are qualified specialists in child counseling and therapy. However, there are no national qualifications or training systems for CCs in Korea. Therefore, in this study, we proposed a Korean national qualification and training system of CCs by comparing the Korean Youth counselor's qualification, training and in-service training system, and with those of both Germany and the USA. In addition, this study suggested the inclusion of a practicum component and a suitable in-service training system for Korean CCs.

  • In this study, it is to contribute to Korean aviation safe system as well as the improvement of the domestic(Korean) aviation mechanic qualification examination system by comparing and contrasting with the advanced aviation mechanic qualification examination system of ICAO, FAA and EASA. In addition, by reforming and improving Korean aviation mechanic qualification examination system, it can be achieved to keep the international competitiveness and can be authenticated even in international standardized countries in aviation mechanic qualification examination system.

Study on How to Maintain the Flight Test Currency of Certification Flight Test Crew (항공기 인증비행시험요원의 비행시험 자격 유지 방안 연구)

  • This is a research report about the method of how to maintain qualification of certification flight test crews. KCA(Korea Certification Agency) have completed the KC-100 airplane certification flight tests which is the first time experienced flight tests operation. After the certification flight test, it has been found that annual flying time requirement of 100 hours to the certification flight test pilot is too strict, and other several requirements to maintain the qualification of the certification test crew such as aircraft certification introduction training, initial flight test pilot and flight test engineer certification training, crew resource management training, aviation physiology training, and survival training was difficult to implement in Korean civil aviation environments. In this study, it was suggested that 30 hours of flying time for maintaining certification flight test pilot qualification could be applied to contribute for safe operation of certification flight test and the other training requirements of the certification flight test crew could be fulfilled using self made training courses, existing FAA training courses and Korean Air Force training resources. Therefore, it is recommended that the regulation of maintaining the certification flight test crew qualification should be refined to implement the requirement practically.

  • The study conducted questionnaire analysis to 413 industrial safety field employees in order to examine the necessity and validity of industrial safety field's 17th neo-job classification based on National Competency standards(NCS). As a result, 50.1% of industrial safety management field and 43.3% of industrial health management field answered that classification details of occupational safety and health management field are classified by job(duty) performance. Industrial safety management field recognizes that management and engineering section play a significant role in their work, while industrial health management field recognizes worker's health care and work environment management and overall control of work environment assessment to be significant in their work. Furthermore, industrial safety management field recognizes that separating qualification and foundation of 'construction safety manager', 'chemicals(safety and health) manager', '(toxic)risk assessment evaluator or risk factor manager' to be highly significant. The study is meaningful in that it suggests industrial safety field's qualification items practical in industrial sites.

Comparative Study on Qualification System of Competency Assessor in Australia and Scotland (스코틀랜드와 호주의 NCS기반 직무능력평가자(Competency Assessor) 자격제도에 관한 비교 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the qualification system of competency assessor based NCS(National Skill Standards) in Australia and Scotland. To meet the purpose of the study, the characteristics of competency based assessment and the role of assessor was reviewed, and competency assessor qualification system of both countries were analysed. Australia and Scotland have developed the certification system of competency assessor based on national qualification framework. Education and Training Institutes in both countries should meet the requirement of RTOs(Registered Training Organizations) and CRBs(Credit Rating Body), which can develop and operate assessor qualification course based NQF. Also they must ensure all assessors are qualified with competency, currency and professional development and show how they have maintained, upgraded or developed new skills relevant to the current industry needs. In recent years, Korea has been introduced competency based curriculum linked with NCS in education and training sector. Also the introduction of competency assessor qualification system are currently under consideration by government. In this circumstances, the results of comparative analysis about Australia and Scotland can help the Korean government review the policies and strategies qualifying competency assessor. They also provide some implications for exploring and examining assessor qualification system based NCS and KQF(Korean Qualification Framework) in Korea.

A Study on Criteria for the Credit Approval of Nationally Authorized Civil Qualifications (국가공인 민간자격 학점인정 기준에 관한 방안 연구)

  • The study aims to propose plans to give credit approval to those who obtain authorized civil qualifications, in accordance with the enforcement regulations under the Clause 7, Article 4 of $\ulcorner$the law on credit approval and others$\lrcorner$. Preceding studies on the grounds and principles of credit approval, analyses on the related references and materials, and surveys asking the managers of authorized civil qualifications their opinion over giving credit approval to authorized civil qualifications were conducted as the methodology of this study. Besides, a conference inviting experts from the relevant fields was held to specifically overview the contents and levels to be examined by qualification items, to conduct a face-to-face survey on directions to take in the credit approval of authorized civil qualifications, and to analyze the level and the degree of the difficulty of questions in the examinations of authorized civil qualifications. The contents and the level of credit approval in this study are as follows. For the authorized civil qualification items unable to formulate criteria in accordance with the principles of credit approval taken in the national technique qualification and other national qualifications, two factors were put under consideration for setting the level of the credit approval. First, the level and scope of work were investigated. Second, the content of qualification was compared with the course work of college. The degree of difficulty in the scope and performance of work was reviewed by specialized qualification and general qualification, respectively. Specialized qualification indicates whether or not the required knowledge and technique are acquired for performing duty in specific work fields. It falls into service fields and qualification items except qualification items on general clerical work of the national technique qualification and other national qualifications. To the contrary, general qualification is to prove the degree of acquisition of knowledge and technique for improving the basic competencies throughout diverse types of occupations. It includes competencies to verify language proficiency, mathematical and statistical capacity, problem settlement, negotiation and communication skills. When the authorized civil qualification came under the specialized qualification, the level of qualification was determined in comparison with the level of work of national qualifications. In the case of the general qualification, the credit to be approved was settled by conducting a comparative analysis on the course work of college.

  • The reliability qualification test is essential in order to ensure the life time of the product under the normal operation conditions when a new product is developed. The reliability qualification test period has an important impact on the development time of new product. Therefore, some researches to reduce the test time of reliability qualification test have been actively studied. Generally, accelerated life test is well known as one method that can save the test time of the reliability qualification test. This test is conducted under the higher stress condition than normal condition. So we need to investigate what factor affects to the higher stress condition. This paper shows the relationship between the acceleration factor and reliability qualification test period. Especially, we focused on the method to obtain effective acceleration factors under the high temperature condition. Through some experiments for a refrigerator's compressor, we were able to confirm how to increase acceleration factors and how to reduce the reliability qualification test period with minimum samples.
