A Study on Architectural Form Characteristics of Paul Cezanne's Cubism in Landscape Paintings (폴 세잔의 풍경화에 나타난 큐비즘적 건축형태 특징에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to define the characteristics of regional architecture shown in the landscape paintings of Paul Cézanne, who is called the father of modern art, and then to think over the form of regional house in Korea modern architecture. The subject of the study focuses on landscape paintings depicting landscapes among Paul Cézanne's post-impressionist works. The research contents are, first, to understand the landscape structural and cubical characteristics of primary psyche-scene landscapes in his thoughts and insight, and second, to understand the characteristics of regional architecture depicted in his landscape paintings. In this study, characteristics of color in his pictures were excluded, and I attempted to find the origins of pure cube, then tried to pull out the cubical from from Korean regional architecture. The research results are summarized as follows. First, more than 54.7% of Paul Cézanne's paintings are post-impressionism, and the fact that he chose landscapes as the subject of his paintings can be explained to show the value of primary psycho-scene. Second, the building depicted in Paul Cézanne's painting is a pure cube as bastide and mas that are local houses in the Aix-en-Provence region in southern France. Third, Korean cubical flat style of house in the village comes from De Stijl that was provided the concept of Cubism and Mondrian's neo-plasticism.

A Study on Organic Solvent Exposure in Painting Operation of Automobile Manufacturing Industry (자동차 도장 작업장에서의 유기용제 폭로에 관한 연구)

  • A Study was performed in order to measure mixed organic solvent concentrations in air of painting operations during January 5-28, 1991. The mixed organic solvent concentrations were analyzed by the gas chromatography. The results were as follows: 1. The detection of organic solvent was highest in aromatic hydrocarbon(68%), and followed by aliphatic hydrocarbon (18%), and ketone (14%). 2. The detection of organic solvent by component category was highest in the grid class solvent (79.4%), and followed by the 3rd class solvent (20.6%). 3. Number of cases exceeding TLVS of mixed solvent level in air was highest on dipping operation (44%), and followed by spray operation (40%), dry and washing operation (33%), and adhensive operation (12%).

Development of the Sludge Treatment System in Water Bath of Painting Booth (도장부스 수조 내 슬러지 처리 시스템의 개발)

  • A sludge treatment system for introducing the waste water mixture with paint sludge from the water bath of paint booth and for recycling cleaned water to paint booth after sludge separation is developed. Floated sludge is introduced from the water surface in the bath by using floating-skimmer, and is conveyed by pump to the centrifugal separator where sludge and cleaned water are separated. From the operation results of the present sludge treatment systems applied in actual paint booths, paint sludge can be separated automatically and effectively from water bath with its water content of $60-70\%$, and sludge-free clean water is returned to paint booth.

  • This study is conservation works trend since 1900. Objects for study are National Treasures and Treasures in Buddhism, in wooden architecture. And researched about the factor of conservation works, roof and tile, painting and dissolution conservation works cycle by dissolution, timber change ratio. The factor of conservation works is the most, roof and tile. Conservation works cycle by dissolution is 12.8 years. Painting cycle is 16.3 years. There are two concepts of conservation works, that is restoration and preservation. There are many restoration before 1960's. To 1960's the preservation to be many to 1970's many Restoration. And since the end of 1970's is Preservation. These reasons are conservation works history of object, the rule for Heritage protection, people on works, and study of architecture. history.

  • Injection molded plastic parts have many appearance imperfections: weld line sink mark flow mark, gloss, shading, scratching, etc. Because these appearance faults have not accepted esthetically, so pastic parts are produced through painting or texturing. The purpose of this paper is to develop a paintless molded part of TV Mask Front, using numerical simulations and experiments. In order to minimize problems of injection, this study carried out computer aided injection mold filling simulations using MF/FLOW. Based on these numerical results we developed FR(Flame Retardant) HIPS and estabilished guidelines of part design, mold design, and processing conditions. We took effects of cost savings, inprovement of productivity, and utilization of recycling by eliminated painting process.

  • To enhance the corrosion resistance of a bolt by surface treatment, dacrotization was considered as a substitute for phosphate coating which is widely used for general applications. In this study, comparisons were made among 5 different kinds of surface treatments including dacrotization and phosphate coating with respect to corrosion resistance, adhesion property with painting, and preload when tightened. The result shows that the dacrotized and surface-stabilized bolt is much superior in every aspects studied herein to others. An excellent corrosion resistance and a fairly good adhesion property with painting were achieved in the dacrotized and surface-stabilized bolt. When tightened at the same torque, the amount of preload and its deviation of dacrotized and surface-stabilized bolt were comparable with those of phosphate coated bolt.

  • In this paper, the authors consider a robot motion control to cope with painting, welding jobs and etc. Especially, a method for easy recognition and regeneration of the robot motions made by the operator is proposed. The method is based on the process of accurate modelling, controller design and experimental evaluation. In this study, the model and controller for all motions are obtained individually, where the control system is designed on the robust control framework. And the experiment result with good control performance is presented.
