Electronic publications, including e-journals, show a rapid expansion due to its several advantages for the academic and research community. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of e-journals on scholarly communication. The impact factors and immediacy indices were provided via JCR social science edition have been used to conduct a series of analysis on three subject fields, economics, law and psychology. The data from the last eight years show that the impact factors of e-journals have not changed, but immediacy indices have intensely increased in recent two years. Significant increase of immediacy indices is probably due to prevalence of e-journals or electronic sources of articles. The result reveals that e-journals play an important role in speeding up the scholarly communication. It is expected that the findings of this study can contribute to more efficient management of the digital libraries.

In general, researchers submit their research products to scholarly journals in order to be recognized by their colleagues, and, as a result, those are accumulated in their belonged teamed societies. However, it is a fact that the majority of teamed societies have been ignored digitized information new even though they could acquire original word files. Information flow process needs to be systematized based on digital for the research products. The purpose of this study u to develop electronic Journal generation system for scholarly journals issued at learned societies in Korea. From this study, It would be possible to deliver researcher' work directly to end users via internet, without acquisition of printed scholarly journals. For this study, KISTI's article contribution and electronic journal generation system was discussed. It also compared with other major electronic journal publication models in foreign countries.

This study is aiming to develop an evaluation model considering electronic journal's properties and terms of subscription. As the first step to develop an evaluation model, this study analyzed features of electronic journals and various terms of subscription through reviewing literature. Second, it developed the evaluation model for electronic journals by using proper evaluation indicators which were extracted from previous studies on the evaluation journals and considering the terms of ScienceDirect subscription. Third, this evaluation model was applied to the 99 journals in the field of mechanical engineering in ScienceDirect. As a result of the evaluation, it was found out that there were variations in the value of journals between in 2000 and 2007. Some implications regarding e-journal subscription were also added.

Objective : To investigate the syndrome differentiation's types and herbal medicine of migraine through Chinese journals review Methods : Journal search was performed using the searching engine of China Academic Journal(CAJ) in China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) from January 2000 to November 2010. Searching key words were "migraine", "chinese traditional medicine" and "syndrome differentiation". We included all kinds type of journals that explained or referred definite syndrome differentiations. The methods of treatment and Herbal medications by syndrome differentiation in contents of finally selected journals were extracted and summarized. Results : Eighteen chinese journals were selected finally. Fifteen kinds of syndrome differentiations about migraine were investigated, which included blood stasis due to qi stagnation (氣滯血瘀) quoted 15 times, middle obstruction of phlegm-dampness (痰濕中阻) 11 times, liver yang transforming into wind (肝陽化風) 10 times, deficiency of qi and blood (氣血虧虛) 6 times, wind-cold invading 風寒侵襲 淸陽鬱遏 4 times, cold invading reverting yin (寒犯厥阴) 4 times, liver-kidney deficiency (肝腎虧虛) 3 times, liver qi depression and qi stagnation (肝鬱氣滯) 2 times, liver depression transforming into fires (肝鬱化火) 2 times, wind-fire of liver-gallbladder (肝膽風火) 3 times, intense stomach fire and heat (胃火熱盛) 2 times, insufficiency of blood deficiency (血虛不榮) 2 times, insufficiency of qi deficiency (氣虛不充) 2 times, insufficiency of kidney qi and sea of marrow deficiency (腎氣不足, 髓海空虛) 2 times, and qi depression due to wind invading (風邪侵襲, 氣鬱不宣) 2 times. Conclusion : We suggests the first choice of oriental treatment for migraine can be considered among syndrome differentiation's types of blood stasis due to qi stagnation, middle obstruction of phlegm-dampness, liver yang transforming into wind, deficiency of qi and blood, and cold invading reverting yin. further systematic study will be needed.

The purpose of this study is to find out how much research has been done on dream analysis based on S.Freud's psychoanalytic theory, and to suggest the necessity of dream research and follow-up research on dream research. The research method was based on analysis of domestic academic journals from 2019 to 2023, a study on S.Freud's dream analysis. Among them, the data were collected and organized through a keyword classification process from the Research Information Service (RISS) and the Korean Journal Citation Index (KCI). The classification categories were psychoanalysis, domestic academic journals, dream analysis, dream interpretation, dream analysis research trends, and dream research trends. In particular, psychoanalysis, dream analysis, domestic academic journals, and research trends were searched. The conclusion was drawn as follows. First, studies on research trends on dream analysis in domestic academic journals did not occupy a large proportion. Second, the ratio of research trends centered on dream analysis keywords was also significantly low. Third, the use and frequency of dream analysis was low. Fourth, research on Korean testing tools based on dream analysis is needed.

Objective : To research the trends of the study related to bee venom and cancer, and to establish the hereafter direction of the study on bee venom herbal acupuncture. Method : We searched in PubMed, with bee venom and cancer(in English, with abstract) Results : 1. We searched 28 Journals, 36 Papers. the frequency of Journals and Papers was as follows: Biochem Biophys Res Commun(4 Papers), FEBS Lett(3), Life Sci, Proc Natl Acad Sci USA, J Immunol(each 2), other 23 Journals(each 1). 2. The pattern of the study was as follows: Review article(3 Journals, 3 Papers), Epidemiologic study(1, 1), Experimental study(24, 32) In vivo 1, 1), In vitto(24, 31) 3. The involved components of bee venom were as follows: Melittin(20), Apamin(8), Phospholipase A2(3), Melittin & Phospholipase A2(3), Melittin& Tertiapin(1). 4. The involved cancer was as follows: leukemia(9), tumor(5), neuroblastoma(4), pituitary tumor and pheochromocytoma(each 3), lymphoma, astrocytoma, glioma and lung cancer(small cell carcinoma)(eacn 2), bladder carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, breast carcinoma, ovarian carcinoma and spuamous cell carcinoma(each 1) Conclusion : We concluded that the most frequent pattern of the study was in vitro experimental study with peptide components of bee venom and the most frequeni invovled cancer was leukemia.

As sales of athleisure wear are expected to continue to increase, this study researched and analyzed trends to develop athleisure wear with improved design and functionality. In order to present basic data for designing a research methodology suitable to trends, this study conducted a literature survey related to athleisure wear published in domestic academic journals. The results are as follows. Papers related to athleisure wear have been consistently published since 2016, when athleisure wear began to emerge in Korea. The research methodology itself has not yet been reflected in a variety of ways, and it has only been published at a general level, so there is a need to expand the research methodology. In particular, the lack of material-related research in athleisure wear, where functional materials play the most important role, can also be cited as a problem. Research in the field of clothing composition for movement suitability and functional design is also limited to leggings and should be expanded to various athleisure wear items. However, due to the characteristic of athleisure wear, research papers are published not only in academic journals in the field of clothing, but also in academic journals in the fields of convergence, science, and sports. It is expected that active research on athleisure wear will continue in the future through a multifaceted and convergent approach.

The Annual Editions of SCI(Science Citation Index) CD-ROM over the last five years ('92-'96) were studied to investigate: 1) the status of domestic research activity in science & technology, in comparison with other countries, 2) research activity by universities and research institutes in Korea. Because the selection of journals in SCI is based on the criteria of citation sources, the journals registered in SCI are recognized as the Core Journals in each area of research. Therefore, the analysis result of SCI data is a quite reliable measurement to evaluate the research activities in science and technology. In 1996 a total of 6, 227 papers were listed on SCI, ranking the 21st up from the 29th in 1992. Over the last five years, the number had grown rapidly at an average of 29% per annum. This fast growth is expected to continue in the future.

The tremendous growth in electronic journals made it clear that access would be one of the biggest issues confronting libraries seeking to adopt them. While users must be given the freedom to move seamlessly between electronic and paper journals, the most of university libraries in Korea have not provided a single point access to these yet. This study offers opportunities to improve the convenience which permits integrated access to the thousands of electronic and paper ones. It is suggested that the integrated catalog can be an appropriate solution that allows the one-stop shopping approach to library's entire collection.

In this study, the researcher aimed to increase productive reflection of pre-service elementary teachers through meta-analysis of their own reflective journals. The meta-analysis activities are expected to enhance their learning effectively as a kind of self-assesment. During 8 week simulation teaching, 26 pre-service teachers kept individual journal writing and the meta-analysis activities were implemented twice (after the 3rd and 8th week). Right after the first meta-analysis, the pre-service teachers' productive reflection increased clearly. However this would not guarantee the effect would last long time period. By analyzing 8 week reflective journals, reports on meta-analysis activities and small group interview, this study shed light on practical ways of enhancing reflective teacher education.
