초등학교 고학년 남학생의 성격 유형에 따른 보행형태 비교 (Comparison of Gait Patterns of Elementary School Male Student in Higher Grades Pursuant to Character Styles)

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to compare gait patterns of elementary school male students in higher grades according to their character styles. Method: 4 extroverted character male subjects (height: $141.35{\pm}7.75cm$, weight: $43.65{\pm}5.80kg$) and 4 introverted character male subjects (height: $145.38{\pm}8.94cm$, weight: $42.15{\pm}10.71kg$) participated in this study. Results: As for walk styles of elementary school male students in higher grades according to their character patterns, there was not significant differences in gait cycle, stride width, stride length and walking speed. According to examination of average ratio of maximum vertical ground reaction force according to their characters divided by weight, elementary school male students in higher grades with extroverted character showed 114.69% of weight and students with introverted character showed 122.82% of weight, which exhibited that students with introverted character had larger ratio as much as 8.13% than students with extroverted character. The statistical significance level was 0.000 showing significant difference. Conclusion: Our results indicated that male students in higher grades with introverted character press ground hard and walk with strong steps. On the other hand, male students with extroverted character walk with light steps.

인성개념에 대한 부모의 인식과 가정 내 인성교육에 관한 연구 (Parents' Perceptions on Character and Character Education in Family)

  • This study attempted to explore parents'perceptions on character and character education for their children using a focus group interview method. According to previous research, the concept of character consists of wholeness of three components: relationship, individuality, and morality. This study investigated how parents' perception differ from the widely agreed concept of character. Forty-four mothers and ten fathers participated in eleven focus group interviews. The results showed that parents recognized social relationship and self realization as two most important components of character education of children. However, the parents paid less attention on morality and wholeness. The parents conceptualized character as an alternative to academic achievement. For example, they considered self realization as an alternative to academic achievement. These tendencies could be a barrier in character education in family. Based on these findings, this study recommends that parent education should take more attention on character education in family and help parents develop a balanced understanding on the concept of character.

  • 사람이 가지고 있는 문화성, 오락성에 마케팅 기법을 도입하여 산업적인 측면으로 발전시킨 캐릭터 산업은 단순한 상품의 판매가 아니라 무형의 상징적 요소를 소비자에게 요구하는 지식집약형 산업이다. 다시 말하면 캐릭터 산업은 사람의 마음속에 내재하고 있는 즐거움과 오락성을 만족시킬 수 있는 아이디어, 상품, 서비스를 구체화, 극대화시킨 소프트 비즈니스(soft business) 분야이다. 우리나라의 캐릭터 산업은 캐릭터 고유의 형태나 표현이 개발되는 단계에서부터 성격이나 의미, 상품성이 약한 것은 물론 매체(media)에 대한 전략이나 통합적인 캐릭터 마케팅 전략과 전술이 부재하여 캐릭터의 파급효과나 상품화 전략이 미국, 일본, 영국 등 캐릭터 선진국에 비해 상대적으로 열세를 면치 못하고 있다. 캐릭터가 주체가 된 캐릭터 마케팅에 대한 연구가 부족한 현실에서 세계적인 유명 기업이나 브랜드가 적극적으로 활용하고 있는 전략적 마케팅 수단인 MPR전략을 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 목표에 따라 분류하고 통합적인 캐릭터 마케팅 전략과 전술 개발 방안을 제안함으로써 우리나라의 캐릭터 산업을 선진국 수준으로 발전시키는데 기여하고자 한다.

조형성을 바탕으로 한 애니메이션 입체 캐릭터 모델링 연구 (A Study on Animation Cubic Character Modelling Based on Plasticity)

  • Character plays an important role not merely in animation but also in the modern image industry. From this perspective a new academic approach to and an analysis of character seems of much significance. With this in view this study carried out an elucidation of the basic factors and concept of plasticity for the creation of animation character on the basis of animation structural elements. Furthermore, an inquiry was conducted into fundamental requirements and factors of animation characters, human anatomy serving as the basis of forms for animation character modelling, the characteristics and techniques for creating animation cubic character, and then suggested a method of creation. In this process it was revealed that integral cubic character was applied to diverse animations, that character of high density was prerequisite for the creation of creative and effective animations, and that cubic character plasticity played a catalytic role in activation popular sympathy and the character industry.

A Character Development Program in University based on 49 Character Qualities

  • Although character education has been done for many years in Korea, it has not been sufficiently implemented in Korean schools. Recently it has become more important and consequently a law for it has been announced by government. But studies and discussions about character education have focused on the primary and secondary education rather than higher education including university. In this paper, a character development program in university is proposed. It is using 49 character qualities to develop character in university students. A liberal arts course has been implemented using the program in Chungwoon University.

Individual Character 산업을 위한 전통 주술 문양의 캐릭터 개발 연구 (A Study on the Character Creation of Traditional Incantatory Pattern for Individual Character Industry)

  • 세계는 점차적으로 각 나라에 대한 정체성, 각 단체에 대한 정체성, 개인에 대한 정체성을 추구하고 있으며, 그 정체성이 타문화 또는 타 단체와 차별되는 특징을 갖는 고유 디자인을 요구하고 있다. 또한 캐릭터를 비롯한 만화, 애니메이션, CF등 캐릭터 관련 산업들이 곳곳에서 대두되면서 개개인의 개성을 부각시킬 수 있는 마스코트 개념의 캐릭터 개발이 요구되었다. 이러한 개인의 정체성을 표현한 캐릭터를 포함한 캐릭터 관련 상품 시장을 'Individual Character" 산업이라 명하고, 본 연구는 위 산업을 위한 차별적 특징을 갖는 디자인으로 한국적 소재를 사용하여 마스코트 또는 수호천사 개념으로 "Individual Character"를 개발하였다. 본 연구는 이를 개발하기 위해, 한국의 전통 주술 문양을 분석하고, 캐릭터 산업 및 국내외 전통 문양 소재의 캐릭터 조사를 통해 12지를 소재로 한 캐릭터를 하나의 인격을 갖는 형태로서 line art 캐릭터, 오방색 2D 캐릭터, 글자 '||'&'||' 그림 3D 캐릭터, 3가지 형태로 개발하였다. 이 3타입의 캐릭터들은 유형별 전략을 모색한 후 각각 캘린더, 도자기, 금속, Animation Source, 생활 용품, 악세사리 등 각종 상품에 적용 개발하였다. 상품 적용은 line art, 2D, 3D 타입에 대한 상품 적용을 목적으로 Re-design을 하여 적용하였으며, 금속, 지류, web, 도자 등 각 소재별 표현제약을 고려하여 각 상품을 유형별로 개발하였다. 본 연구는 이를 통해 전통주술 문양을 소재로 한 "Individual Character"가 한국적 디자인 창출을 통한 문화적 정체성과 독창성을 발굴할 수 있었으며, 캐릭터 산업에 "Individual Character"라는 개념을 새롭게 적용하여, 한 가지 소재로 다원화된 캐릭터를 개발하며, 소비자 대상에 따른 각종 상품에 적용을 시도하였다.

창의·인성 모델학교 운영에 따른 학생, 학부모, 교사의 창의·인성교육에 대한 인식 변화 (A Study on Students', Parents', and Teachers' Change of Perception on Creativity and Character Education through Operation of Creativity and Character Model School)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of perceptions of students', parents', teachers' on creativity and character education at the model school for creativity and character education. This study used pre and post tests to examine the effects of creativity and character education on students, parents, and teachers. The results were as follows. Firstly, operating model school for creativity and character education brought about the statistically meaningful changes of students' perception on creativity and character education. However, the changes seemed that the level of their perception on creativity and character education was not rational as the average is about 3.5 point. Secondly, operating model school for creativity and character education brought about the statistically meaningful changes of parents' perception on creativity and character education. However, the changes seemed that the level of their perception on creativity and character education was not rational as the average was about 3.5 point like their children. thirdly, operating model school for creativity and character education brought about the statistically meaningful changes of teachers' perception on creativity and character education. The changes seemed that the level of their perception on creativity and character education was rational as the average was about 4.5 point unlike their students and school parents. Fourthly, it seemed that the perception on creativity and character education showed a difference among students, school parents, and teachers.

한국어 소설에서 유정명사용 조사 기반의 인물 추출 기법 (A Character Identification Method using Postpositions for Animate Nouns in Korean Novels)

  • Novels includes various character names, depending on the genre and the spatio-temporal background of the novels and the nationality of characters. Besides, characters and their names in a novel are created by the author's pen and imagination. As a result, any proper noun dictionary cannot include all kind of character names which have been created or will be created by authors. In addition, since Korean does not have capitalization feature, character names in Korean are harder to detect than those in English. Fortunately, however, Korean has postpositions, such as "-ege" and "hante", used by a sentient being or an animate object (noun). We call such postpositions as animate postpositions in this paper. In a previous study, the authors manually selected character names by referencing both Wikipedia and well-known people dictionaries after utilizing Korean morpheme analyzer, a proper noun dictionary, postpositions (e.g., "-ga", "-eun", "-neun", "-eui", and "-ege"), and titles (e.g., "buin"), in order to extract social networks from three novels translated into or written in Korean. But, the precision, recall, and F-measure rates of character identification are not presented in the study. In this paper, we evaluate the quantitative contribution of animate postpositions to character identification from novels, in terms of precision, recall, and F-measure. The results show that utilizing animate postpositions is a valuable and powerful tool in character identification without a proper noun dictionary from novels translated into or written in Korean.

캐릭터 패션에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) - 애니메이션 캐릭터를 중심(中心)으로 - (A Study on Character Fashion - The Focus on Animation Character -)

  • Character fashion was already turned up in Egyptian age and nowadays was worn to everybody as regardless of ages, level and sex of people. This paper reviewed character fashion and animation character based on USA and Japan that is outstanding more coming up today and compared and analyzed with our country's situation. Usually, character fashion would give imagnation of products and companies themselves for aesthetic sense and can show possessive feeling and personality. And that mean fashion used by character like pictures and signals(that include words figures and special signals) and these fashion using by animation character was come out in 1929. In spite of third producer, Korea, back from USA and Japan about character fashion, we faced many problems. In order to solve these problems, we must make our own pure character that do not need to pay royalty and must spread marketing strategy with character fashion of more various designs. Therefore we should concentrate for raising high quality works and avoid uneconomic investment and plagiarism and finally we must expand recognition concerning character fashion.

독서를 통한 인성교육의 프레임워크 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Framework Development of Character Education by Reading)

  • 인성교육에 있어서 독서의 중요성과 가치에 대해서는 많은 연구에서 강조하고 있으나 정작 독서를 통한 인성교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 도구 혹은 프레임워크는 전무한 실정이다. 독서를 통한 인성교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위해서는 독서교육의 관점과 인성교육의 관점을 함께 고려한 프레임워크의 개발이 선행되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 독서교육을 담당하는 사서교사가 독서를 통한 인성교육 프로그램을 개발하고자 할 때 참고할 수 있는 프레임워크를 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 독서 및 인성과 관련된 핵심 변인으로서 인성 덕목, 인성교육에 적합한 독서자료, 독서전략, 수업 방법으로 구분하여 교육 프로그램을 개발할 때 고려해야 할 요소를 분석한 후에 이를 바탕으로 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 프레임워크는 분석 내용과 동일하게 프로그램을 통해 개발하고자 하는 인성 덕목, 인성교육에 적합한 독서자료, 인성교육을 위한 독서전략, 인성교육에 적합한 수업방법으로 구성하였다.
