This study is derived from relation between the natural landscape and architectural landscape. The type of landscape in Donghae seaside consist of three; Road, Mountain, Seaside. And we selected three landscapes about individual housing; Western, Traditional, Modern. This paper is analyzed 18-simulation scenes, which evaluated with semantic differential method in using 12-bipolar adjectives. The results of this study are as follows(ref: table 6). 1)The housing of western style do not correspond with landscape of Road, but landscape of mountain and seaside were suitable to the western style. 2)Mountain in Donghae seaside harmonizes with housing of traditional style. 3)Even though the housing of modern style were marked low assessment in three landscape, we found out relation, modern housing was well-matched with load landscape.

Technology Management and R&D(Research and Development) have been one of the most difficult divisions for measurement and evaluation. In spite of these difficulties, the concern and importance of R&D has been dramatically increased. However, it is actually very difficult to manage more efficiently and effectively than any other departments of production, finance, marketing and so on. As criticizing the shortcomings of the traditional evaluation system in making decisions for corporate management which has only been focused on financial indices, so Kaplan & Norton has suggested the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) which can be managed Critical Success Factors(CSF) in accordance with corporate's strategy. The Analytic Network Process(ANP), though based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process, allows the decision makers to leap beyond the traditional hierarchy to the interdependent environment of network modeling. Basing on BSC, this study has developed the evaluation system for R&D which has used ANP transforming quantitative and qualitative indices to the quantifying scales in evaluating R&D.

Changing demographics, changing lifestyles. An international group of architects designs the homes of the future in places diverse as USA, Japan, South America and Europe. These architecture are also challenging the traditional structure of the private house, as we know it. Many of these architects are reinterpreting the private house, challenging traditional notions of what makes house. Here, the interior and exterior surfaces are transformed into 'smart skins', which blur the distinction between the digital and the real and become a part of the daily life of the occupants. The smart house will make possible amazing things we though existed only in science fiction, guarding or welfare, guessing our moods and catering to our demands in music, movies, temperature and ambience. And new materials will further transform our living areas.

Though a demand for 3-D CG (Three-Dimensional Computer Graphics) drastically increases, traditional modeling system for virtual objects are very difficult to handle. Applying VR (Virtual Reality) technology is, however, able to make the modeling systems more efficiently and intuitively. In this paper, traditional modeling operations are analyzed and their problems are clarified. We discuss what can be improved with VR technology. Then, a guideline of merging VR technology into the modeling system is described. A new modeling system is proposed using a CAVE system which is utilized in the latest VR technology. This proposed system aids in creating 3-D objects with high immersion in VEs (Virtual Environments)

The purpose of this research was to analyze the market-labor participation of married women and their demand for an additional child, The theories from 'Economics of Fertility' by Willis and Bekerian 'Household Production Model' were applied to develop the theoretical model. For the empirical analysis National Data for Fetility in Korea was used, Even though the model was fully developed based on economic theories only the pasychological or value-related variables were appeared to be statistically significant. That means in Korea the decision-making for market work and fertility are still following the traditional way as it is.

This characteristics of stall keepers depend on items they treat and their main customers as follows. 1) The stall keepers around residential areas and traditional markets treat necessities such as vegitables. fishes. fruits, etc. Their main customers are regularly visiting housewives. 2) The stall keepers around CBD. mainstreet and amusement areas mainly treat alchoholic beverages and micellenious goods. Their marker areas are relatively wide. 3) The stall keepers want their business to be socially accepted as legal. Residents do not want to see illegal stall keepers around their residence even though they are frequent users of the stall keepers.

In the Chosun Dynasty Nam, Byung-Gil(another name is Nam, Sang-Gil alias Won-Sang; 1820-1869) made a research comparing Chinese traditional mathematics with western mathematics, which missionaries who came to China at the end of Ming Dynasty introduced. He particularly studied fundamental differences between Chinese and western methods to solve algebraic equations. He wrote an article "Moo-Ee-Hae", in which he insisted that the two methods are eventually same though they are different in the고 expressions. His article has big significance as the first mathematic paper in the history of Korean mathematics.thematics.

Though median filter is used for removing noise and smoothing image. But, the result of it has distortion around edge. And then, this paper proposes new noise removing algorithm by recursive morphological processing. Basic operation is same each other, but there is some different processing method between recursive morphology and general morphology theory. This recursive morphological filter can be viewed as the weighted order static filter, and then it has a weighted SE(structuring element). Especially using this algorithm to remove the 10% gaussian noise, this paper confirmed that PSNR is improved about 0.642~1.5757 db reserving edge well better than the results of the traditional median filter.

Rhizomes of Polygonatum species belong to Liliaceae are important herbal drugs in the traditional medical practice of Asian region. Two representative Chinese drugs derived from this genus are Hwangjeong and Okjuk. Though botanical origins of these drugs are officially listed as P. falcatum, P. sibiricum and P. kingianum for Hwangjeong and P. odoratum var. pluriflorum for Okjuk in the Korean Pharmacopoeia and Korean Herbal Pharmacopoeia, respectively, they are often sold as a mixture of several different species in the market. Objective: This research was designed to investigate how young children's musical ability and interest in Korean music and their playfulness were affected by musical play activities based on traditional children's songs. Methods: In this study, 28 five-year-old children from W childcare center in W city were divided into an experimental and a comparison group. The experimental group then took part in musical play activities based on traditional children's songs while the comparison group, even though they sang the same songs, took part in musical activities based on themes in the 'Nuri curriculum'. The average and standard deviations of the children's musical ability and interest in Korean music and their playfulness were calculated from the collected data, and ANCOVA was computed using the pre-test scores of each subject as the covariate. Results: The results showed that taking part in musical play activities based on traditional children's songs positively affected young children's musical ability and interest in Korean music and their playfulness. Conclusion/Implications: Therefore, it is suggested that such activities could be useful components for effective Korean music programs in the field of early childhood education.
