이 연구는 인명표목통제를 위한 전거레코드작성의 합리적인 기준안을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위하여 ICCP의 제원칙의 성명, 한국편목규칙의 표목부와 한국문헌목록정보에 있는 인명표목을 분석하였다. 그 결과 문제점을 조사하여 인명표목에 대한 레코드작성지침을 제시하였다. 표목통제를 위한 레코드작성지침은 별도로 편찬하지 않고, 편목규칙의 표목부 규칙에 통합하여 편찬하는 것이 더욱 유용하고 합리적이다. 또한 효율적인 검색을 위하여 동명이인의 구별방안과 주제명일람표 작성방안을 제시 하였다 .

The personal information extrusion accident(hacking, improper maintenance) by the internet has been increased rapidly during the last ten-year period. The personal information includes Korean resident registration number, name, cellphone number, home telephone number, E-mail address, home address, etc. Korean resident registration number is unchangeable from the cradle to the grave. Illegally accessed personal information can be wrongfully resoled or used at phishing scam. In this paper, we propose a alternative means of Korean resident registration number using the authorized certificate. The authorized certificate is in use safely in Internet. The authorized certificate(included Chinese name) is in used in offline service, the authorized certificate(included English name) is used in online(for government service) and the authorized certificate(not included name) is used in online(for private service). The authorized certificates are possible for discard, republication. The method can reduce the possibility of the personal information extrusion.

Automatic identification of Chinese personal names in unrestricted texts is a key task in Chinese word segmentation, and can affect other NLP tasks such as word segmentation and information retrieval, if it is not properly addressed. This paper (1) demonstrates the problems of Chinese personal name identification in some If applications, (2) analyzes the structure of Chinese personal names, and (3) further presents the relevant processing strategies. The geographical differences of Chinese personal names between Beijing and Hong Kong are highlighted at the end. It shows that variation in names across different Chinese communities constitutes a critical factor in designing Chinese personal name Identification algorithm.

이 연구의 목적은 KCR4와 그 후속 논의에서조차 배제되어 왔던 접근점, 그 중에서도 '개인'을 대상으로 하여 개인의 전거레코드 및 전거형 접근점의 작성 방안을 제안하는데 있다. 이를 위해, 이 연구에서는 (1) FRBR와 FRAD 개념모델, FRBR 실행 시나리오, ICP 등을 토대로 하여 개인명 전거레코드 및 전거형 접근점의 기능에 대해 고찰하고, (2) RDA와 일본목록규칙 개정(안)에 수록된 개인의 속성과 접근점에 관한 규정을 세밀하게 분석하였다. 이어, (3) 미의회도서관(LC)과 일본국립국회도서관(NDL)에서 구축한 개인명 전거레코드 및 전거형 접근점의 사례를 분석하고, (4) 관련 규정의 부재 속에서 그간 국내 도서관들이 나름의 방식에 따라 구축해 온 개인명 전거레코드의 사례를 참조하면서 향후 KCR 개정에 반영할 개인명 전거레코드 및 전거형 접근점의 작성 방안을 구체적인 예시와 함께 제안하였다.

한국인들의 국제활동 증대에 따라 외국인들과의 접촉이 증가하였으며 활동의 주체인 한국인 개인을 외국인이 식별해야 하는 필요가 증대되고 있다. 개인을 식별해주는 것은 개인의 이름(personal name)이며, 한글(Hangeul, Korean alphabet)을 모르는 외국인이 한국인을 식별할 수 있도록 하려면 한국인명을 로마자로 표기하는 음성번역(phonetic translation)이 필요하다. 한국인명의 로마자표기 실태를 보면 다양한 형식이 혼용되고 있어 혼돈이 벌어지고 있다. 한국인명을 로마자로 표기하는 과정에서 발생하는 혼돈은 크게 한국인명을 표기하기 위한 로마자 자모의 선택과 표기형식의 상이함에서 비롯된다. 본 연구는 한국인명의 로마자표기를 위한 형식을 검토하여 최적안을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 한국과 서구간의 인명 구조와 사용관행의 차이를 살펴보고, 한국인명의 로마자표기의 의미와 관련쟁점을 정리하였으며, 현재 사용되고 있는 다양한 표기형식을 유형화하였다. 이를 기반으로 한국인명의 로마자표기에 사용되고 있는 다양한 형식을 검토하고 최적안이라 판단되는 표기형식을 제안하였다.

The aim of this paper is two-fold. First, it examines the romanization of personal names of the teachers who teach English at a university and compares it with the romanization of the general public to see whether there is a unity between the two groups. Second, it explores whether the teachers romanize their personal names consistently and, if they don't, how differently they romanize their names. The data used in this study are the romanized names of the 313 authors who published their articles in The Journal of English Language and Literature from 1991 to 2000. The study shows that the English teachers and the general public differ in the order of the given name and surname as well as formatting. Most of the English teachers prefer to put their surnames last while the majority of the general public put their surnames first. The English teachers opt Gn-Gn and Gngn whereas the general public select Gn Gn for their given names. However, both groups, in general, spell the surname with the same Roman alphabets. The study also shows that the English teachers frequently reverse the order of the given name and surname, and change the formatting of their given names. They, however, spell their names rather consistently. This result indicates that Koreans may be lenient with the order of the given name and surname and formatting of their given names. However, they will unlikely change the spelling of their names even when a new policy on personal names is promulgated.

Some conclusions can be derived form the study : 1) The script of Japan author's name for 3 years(1960-1962, not published by the National Assembly Library but by Korea Library Association)and that of 1963's was arranged by their mother tongue although they had not the "author index". 2) "Periodical's Index" which the publication of National Assembly Library was not accept the principle that the person's name should be pronounce and script by one's mother tongue. It means that the Library was not accept the uniqueness of personal name. 3) Because the arrangement of the same person's name is mixed with one's mother tongue pronunciation and Korean one that they are scattered each another. 4) The same surname and the same Chinese character has different arrangement because of pronunciation rule of Korean language. 5) The same person's name was regarded as a different one because of nonaccurate name transcription. 6) A Japanese name was transcribed as Hangul with Korean pronunciation. 7) A Japanese name was transcribed as Hangul with Korean pronunciation and added Chinese Character in parenthesis. 8) A same Japanese name was regarded as a different one when it was transcribed with Chinese character and Hangul. 9) The arrangement of a same person's name was different when between the surname and forename has one space and has not. 10) "Author Index" is not playing as a role of name authority file.a role of name authority file.

본 연구는 온톨로지를 기반으로 접근점을 제어하기 위해, 미국 작가 마크 트웨인을 대상으로 인물과 이름간의 다양한 관계와 특질을 RDF/OWL의 공리정의를 통해 인명접근점제어 온톨로지를 기술하였다. 적용된 공리정의는 인물 이름클래스 간 서로 소 공리정의, 객체속성의 정의역 치역 공리 정의, 인물 이름클래스의 객체속성 값 출현횟수 제약 공리정의, 인물과 이름 개체 간 역함수 관계 공리정의, 인스턴스와 리터럴 간 데이터속성 공리정의 등이다. 그 결과 온톨로지 기반에서 전거와 표목의 개념을 배제하고 모든 표현형식을 대등하게 다룬 대등형접근점이 기존의 제어기능을 수용할 수 있음을 확인하였고, 다양한 공리정의로 보다 강화된 표현력으로 공유성과 유일성이 광역적으로 확보된 인명접근점제어 온톨로지를 기술할 수 있었다.

본 연구에서는 국립중앙도서관 링크드 데이터를 대상으로 인물 정보가 표현되고 연계되는 방식을 분석하고, 이를 확장하기 위한 방안을 제안하였다. 분석 결과, 저자로서의 인물 정보는 링크드 데이터에서도 인물을 표현하는 어휘와 연계되어 기술되고 있는 반면에, 주제로 표현된 인물은 개념으로만 취급되고 있었다. 또한 링크드 데이터 구축과정에서 기존의 전거 정보를 변환한 것 외에는 별도의 부가 정보를 추가했는지를 확인할 수 없었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 저자로서의 인물 정보뿐 아니라 주제로서의 인물 정보도 서지 정보에 포함시키고, 저자로서의 인물정보와 주제로서의 인물 정보를 연계할 때 링크드 데이터의 품질을 제고할 수 있다고 판단하였다. 그리고 이와 더불어 인물과 관련된 부가 링크 정보를 함께 구축하고 이를 활용하여 서지데이터 검색의 접근점을 확장하는 방안도 함께 제안하였다.

One of the characteristics of academic writing is the inclusion of citations and references. As the development of reference styles used for international scholarly communication has mostly been led by Western academic societies, the reference styles developed in Western nations do not reflect the characteristics of Korean names. As a result, it is hard to distinguish Korean authors through citations based on Western reference styles, which in turn decreases the retrieval efficiency of relevant authors and ultimately the efficiency of scholarly communication. This paper intends to analyze author name disambiguation of Korean authors indicated according to Western reference styles. It aims to suggest the necessity for enhancing name disambiguation of Korean authors and revision of reference styles. Its ultimate goal is to increase the efficiency of scholarly communication through the improvement of name disambiguation of Korean authors. For this purpose, this study collected and analyzed name data of Korean researchers and compared name disambiguation of authors by reference style. Based on research results, this study confirmed a necessity for revising reference styles to improve name disambiguation of authors and suggested a necessity for research into the improvement of plans for revision.
