세계 주요 자연사 박물관의 교육 프로그램의 유형 및 특징 (The Types and Characteristics of Educational Programs in Major Natural History Museums of the World)

  • 본 연구에서는 선진국의 주요 자연사 박물관에서 제공하는 교육 프로그램의 유형 및 특징을 살펴보았다. 미국(AMNH, FM, SM), 영국(NHM), 호주(AU), 캐나다(RTM)의 자연사 박물관의 웹사이트에 소개되어 있는 교육 프로그램, 박물관 간행 책자, 홍보자료, 연간 보고서를 수집하여 분석에 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 자연사 박물관의 교육 프로그램을 크게 열 가지 유형-이동식 박물관, 워크삽, 강좌/강연, 페스티발/(특별)이벤트, 탐구활동, 과학적 활동/연구 프로젝트, 필드트립, 청소년 학예원/인턴 과정, 대여 자료, 캠프/투어-로 나누고, 각 유형에 따른 프로그램의 예를 제시하였다. 또한 개별 프로그램을 교육적 측면에서 볼 수 있는 몇 가지 특징인 주제, 참여 수준, 전시와의 연관성, 학교교육과의 연계, 활동 수준에 관하여 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과는 세 가지 측면에서 과학교사, 박물관 교육담당자 및 학예원에게 도움이 될 것으로 보인다: (1) 교육 프로그램 유형과 내용을 개발하고 실행하는데 유용하며, (2) 교육 프로그램을 평가하고 개선하는 지침으로 이용될 수 있고, (3) 일반 대중에게 다양한 과학적 측면과 소장품을 소개하거나 학교 교육과정과 연관한 과학 교수 학습에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다.

기후변화대응을 위한 문화유산 교육과정 개발 방안 연구 (A Study on the Curriculum Development for Climate Change and Cultural Heritage)

  • This study aims to develop a cultural heritage curriculum for climate change and present educational directions for cultural heritage and climate change impact in the future. In this study, the role and necessity of cultural heritage education for climate change were first discussed based on previous studies on climate change and cultural heritage. Next, the current status analysis of educational cases related to climate change and cultural heritage was conducted based on educational manuals, curriculum, and heritage competency systems associated with climate change. Finally, we propose a plan to develop a curriculum to cope with climate change and cultural heritage for graduate students in higher education institutions based on the four components of developing a curriculum. In future studies, we intend to propose guidelines for designing educational manuals and specific curricula for each educational target to cope with the climate change of cultural heritage presented in this study.

자연로그의 자연스러움에 대한 분석과 그에 따른 교육적 시사점 (An Analysis on the Naturalness of Natural Logarithm and its Educational Implication)

  • In order to improve the educational situation in which the natural number e and the natural logarithm are dealt with somewhat perfunctorily, this study explores the genetic process in which the natural logarithm and its base e occurred, and has an educational discussion based on that analysed process. Specifically, the study inquires into how the natural logarithm happened in relation to the quadrature of the hyperbolic curves through analysis and thought experimentation in mathematics history. Particularly, it sheds light on the role of e and the naturalness of the natural logarithm in terms of the introduction of the real number exponent. Also, this study discusses what the findings suggest educationally.

초등학교 과학 수업에서 한국과학사 자료의 활용에 대한 교사들의 인식 (A Study on the Teachers' Perceptions about the Applying of the History of Korean Science in Elementary Science Class)

  • 이 연구는 초등학교 과학 수업에서 한국과학사 자료의 활용에 대한 교사들의 인식을 조사한 것이다. 한국과학사 자료를 활용한 과학수업의 교육적 가치와 활용 실태를 알아보기 위해 기초단계로 초등학교 과학 교과서 분석을 하였으며 5단계의 리커트 형식의 설문지를 개발하여 202명의 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과 4학년의 과학교과서에는 한국과학사 자료가 없었으며 대부분의 교사들은 한국과학사를 활용한 교육적 가치에 대해 높게 인식하고 있었으나 4학년 담임교사의 경우는 다른 학년에 비해 낮게 나타났다. 또한 한국과학사 자료를 교육과정에서 본 차시내용으로 다루어져야 한다고 인식하고 있었다.

세계유산해석 교육체계 구축방안 연구 (A Study on the Establishment of the World Heritage Interpretation Education System)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a method for establishing an educational system for World Heritage interpretation applicable to World Heritage sites and to design an education program for World Heritage interpretation by applying the developed education system in this study. This study first identified the definition of interpretation and the relationship between interpretation and education through previous research and analyzed the role and significance of heritage interpretation due to the paradigm transition in the capacity building of World Heritage sites. Next, the educational status of World Heritage interpretation was analyzed through educational institutions, educational subjects, and curriculum examples. Finally, this study argues that a method for establishing a World Heritage interpretation education system should be presented according to the composition of the curriculum, and the interpretation curriculum planning by interpreters should be proposed focusing on the Outstanding Universal Value (OUV) of World Heritage sites.

  • In this paper, we investigate the causes and the characteristics of transformations of mathematics education in modern China, focusing on the contents of mathematics education in the Ming and Qing dynasties. In this process, mathematics education was investigated from the overall educational view of each dynasty, so the educational situation of each dynasty was also considered.

관상동맥 우회술환자의 수술 후 재발 관련 지식과 교육요구도와의 상관관계 (Correlation Between Knowledge and Educational Needs Related to Recurrent in Coronary Artery bypass graft patients)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation between the knowledge and educational needs related to recurrent in coronary artery bypass graft patients as a basis to provide an individual nursing education for the population. The subjects consisted of 110 patients who had coronary artery bypass graft(CABG) at Asan Medical Center in Seoul and Sechong hospital in Buchon. Data was obtained from a knowledge questionnaire and a learning needs questionnaire between November 1998 and February 1999. Data were analyzed using SAS program for Wilcoxon rank sum test and Spearman correlation coefficient. The results were as follows : 1. With regard to the 18 items to measure knowledge, the mean (median) of items 'don't know' was 4.9(4) items. The mean (median) of items answered wrong was 3.2(3) items. The number of items answered 'don't know' tend to show higher in those who had less education, blue color jobs and myocardiac infarction history than in their counter parts. There were higher frequency of items answered 'don't know' in those who had no hypertension 2. With regard to the level of knowledge by questionnaire about CABG, The most "I dont know" (59.1%) highly response was 'He has to be treated with anticoagulant drug to prevent revasculized vessel from obstructing.' The seond highest response (56.4%) was 'If you were hypotensive, the coronary attack would collapse. 'During the hospitalized day, the patient has complete bedrest.' The highest error probability was cholesterol has not to intake.', 'After surgery, the sexual life is need controlled for 1 year. 3. The mean of educational needs was 3.38. With regard to the level of learning needs by sentence about CABG, 'Food that benefit heart disease', 'Recurrence possibility of heart disease', 'Management method of operation site', 'Risk symptom that visit hospital or report immediately' were higher than other sentenses. With regard to the level of learning needs by factor 'food(5 items)', 'disease(9 items)' and 'exercise(3 items)' showed the highest than other factors. The educational needs by patients characteristics tend to show higher in males, under the age of 49, middle or high school degree, previous experience of admission with coronary artery disease, history of myocardial infarction, expierience of PTCA, history of cerebro-vascular accident, previous expierience of smoking than in their counter parts. 4. The number of items answered 'don't know', wrong and correct weren't correlated with the level educational needs. As the results, the number of items answered 'don't know' tend to show higher in those who had less educated, blue color jobs and myocardiac infarction history than in their counter parts. There were higher frequency of items answered 'don't know' in those who had no hypertension .There were higher frequency of items answered 'don't know' on anti-thrombolitic theraphy, hypotension and pain relief. Also there were higher frequency of items answered wrong on bed rest period, cholesterol intake, and sexual life. Educational needs were higher in young age group, had previous experience of procesure and history of other disease. And when we educate CABG patients, education for diet, recurrence possibility of disease, management methods of operation site and risk symptom should be emphasized.

수원 화성이 가지고 있는 교육성, 역사성, 관광성이 방문의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influence of Educational, Historical, and Tourism Characteristics of Suwon Hwaseong on Visiting Intention)

  • 본 연구는 교육성, 역사성, 관광성, 심리적 혜택, 교육적 혜택, 쾌락적 혜택이 방문의도에 미치는 영향관계를 파악하고, 이를 통해 수원 화성 관계자들에게 수원 화성을 활성화 할 수 있는 문화 마케팅 및 문화 정책적 제안점을 제시하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수원 화성 관계자들은 화성의 의미를 단순히 돌로 쌓아올린 형태의 구조물이라는 인식보다는 한국의 역사를 배울 수 있는 곳, 다양한 문화 체험과 볼거리, 화성을 소재로 한 먹거리 등을 경험할 수 있는 곳으로 다양한 콘텐츠들을 개발하여 방문객들에게 제공할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 둘째, 수원 화성 관계자들은 화성의 역사성을 한국 역사의 대표 역사로 이해될 수 있도록 교육물들을 개발해야 할 것이고, 나아가 다양한 세계 성들과 비교하여 수원 화성이 어떤 면에서 우수성이 있는지를 보여줄 수 있는 콘텐츠들이 개발 및 제공될 수 있도록 정책적 지원을 해야 할 것이다. 셋째, 수원 화성 관계자들은 방문객들이 방문 시 관광적 요소로 발굴될 수 있는 문화원형 개발과 콘텐츠 제공 방식에 대한 고민을 해야 할 것이고, 관광객들이 관광하면서 불편함이 없도록 다양한 편의시설도 관광지 곳곳에 충분히 갖추어야 할 것이다. 마지막으로 수원 화성 관계자들은 화성을 중심으로 다양한 오락적 요소들을 만들어 제공해야 할 것이고, 체계적인 홍보 방식을 통해 화성 방문욕구가 생길 수 있도록 노력해야 할 것이다.

일 농어촌 중년여성의 고혈압에 대한 건강신념 및 건강행위 실천의지 (A Study of Middle-Aged Women's Health Beliefs and Their Intention to Practice Health Behaviors to Prevent and Improve Hypertension)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate factors related to middle-aged women's health beliefs and their intention to practice health behaviors for preventing and improving hypertension. Methods: The participants were 319 middle-aged(40-59 years) women who lived G city. Data was collected from January to February, 2005. Personal interviews were performed. The data was analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's multiple comparison test and hierarchial multiple regression analysis. Results: Perceived susceptibility of health belief was high in those who had higher educational level, disease history and health education experience, significantly(p<0.05). Perceived seriousness was high in those who had higher educational level, middle economic status and health education experience, significantly(p<0.05). Perceived benefits was high in those who had higher educational level and perceived barriers was low in those who had disease history and hypertension, significantly(p<0.05). The subject's intention to practice health behaviors was significantly high in those who were younger, who had higher educational level and menopausal status(p<0.05). In hierarchial multiple regression analysis, the subject's intention was related to perceived seriousness, perceived benefit and educational level, significantly(p<0.05). Conclusion: It is necessary to develope the education programs which can increase the subject's health belief and intention to practice health behaviors towards hypertension in middle-aged women.

일반 수업과 IC-PBL 적용 수업의 비교를 통한 패션복 식사의 교육 효과 연구 (A Study on the Educational Effect of the History of Fashion and Costume through a Comparison of General Lecture and IC-PBL(Industry-coupled Problem-based Learning))

  • The purpose of this study was to present the case of class operation by paralleling a general instructor's lecture class and a IC-PBL class in a fashion design major course and comparing the educational effects. The teaching model of this study was designed to improve the ability to use the knowledge gained in accordance with the needs of the industrial field and to develop an independent learning ability. It will provide meaningful data. This study measured and considered the qualitative items of self-efficacy and changes in class perception through interviews and questionnaires completed by the learners after experiencing each general class and IC-PBL class. The results of this study are, first, that in the History of Fashion and Costume class, the general teaching method and the IC-PBL teaching method were applied in parallel to design a class, and a method case was presented. Second, as a result of comparing the educational effects of the two teaching methods through a student questionnaire, IC-PBL was more effective in improving learning attitude, learning achievement and self-efficacy. In addition, after the IC-PBL class on History of Fashion and Costume, the students' negative perception of team activities improved, and the students' cooperative ability and creativity improved.
