역세권 제2종 일반주거지역 상업화 확산과 특성 분석 (A Study on the Commercialization Characteristics of 2nd Class Residential District in Inner-city Railway Station Area)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the commercialization characteristics of 2nd class residential district in innercity railway station area as basic research to protect urban residential area against the pressure of commercialization. Through the research that are based on literature, field survey and urban planning map, it analysed the commercialization characteristic of selected three sites under similar urban condition; to be a nearby subway station and to be a famous commercial street in site, etc. The consequences of this study are summarized as follows; First it finds the commercialized lots in all blocks that adjoin blocks of upper class zoning. Second it is in inverse proportion between the commercialization of lots and the distance from subway station to residential block. Third, the corner lot of a block and the access road directly connected collector road are very important factors to spread commercialization to residential area. Finally, it finds the difference of the commercialization degree of 2nd class residential zone according to arrange main commercial street and the 2nd class residential block; vertical arrangement and horizontal arrangement.

A genome-wide association study on growth traits of Korean commercial pig breeds using Bayesian methods

  • Objective: This study aims to identify the significant regions and candidate genes of growth-related traits (adjusted backfat thickness [ABF], average daily gain [ADG], and days to 90 kg [DAYS90]) in Korean commercial GGP pig (Duroc, Landrace, and Yorkshire) populations. Methods: A genome-wide association study (GWAS) was performed using single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers for imputation to Illumina PorcineSNP60. The BayesB method was applied to calculate thresholds for the significance of SNP markers. The identified windows were considered significant if they explained ≥1% genetic variance. Results: A total of 28 window regions were related to genetic growth effects. Bayesian GWAS revealed 28 significant genetic regions including 52 informative SNPs associated with growth traits (ABF, ADG, DAYS90) in Duroc, Landrace, and Yorkshire pigs, with genetic variance ranging from 1.00% to 5.46%. Additionally, 14 candidate genes with previous functional validation were identified for these traits. Conclusion: The identified SNPs within these regions hold potential value for future marker-assisted or genomic selection in pig breeding programs. Consequently, they contribute to an improved understanding of genetic architecture and our ability to genetically enhance pigs. SNPs within the identified regions could prove valuable for future marker-assisted or genomic selection in pig breeding programs.

청주시 상당산성의 보전 및 활용방안 (Conservation and Utilization of Sang-dang Mountain Fortress, Cheong-Ju City)

  • This study is to propose development direction of sang-dang mountain fortress toward the utilization of historical and cultural heritage as tourist attraction through the consideration of problems on sang-dang mountain fortress development. First of all, the historical significance, development project and status of Sang-dang mountain fortress was figured out. Furthermore, using pattern and general user's view was understood through the questionnaire survey then research on the actual condition of traditional korean village was performed. The ongoing development project focusing on restoration of cultural properties to its original state through an archaeological excavation investigation turned out to be lack of consideration on the utilization of sang-dang mountain fortress such as tourists inducement. Furthermore, the measures on traditional korean village which has been a problem by forming commercial area recklessly have been left off. Therefore, additional development plan is required on convenient and amenity facilities and rest places for visitors including environment improvement of traditional korean village based on the development for the restoration of cultural properties to its original state.

A Study on Space Program of Korean Floating Marina Clubhouse

  • Domestic marina facilities today consist mostly of composite-type marinas with particular spatial composition characteristics, due to the regulatory restrictions that keep their development in the public sector and the tepid growth of marine leisure-sports. To develop a marina club design appropriate for domestic conditions, this study establishes space program standards for designing Korean marinas based on a case analysis of existing marina clubs and a survey of floating marina clubs. It is possible for a current composite-type Korean marina club to have a spatial composition of 16~18% for marina-exclusive facility (mFA), 47~49% for commercial facility (cFA), 27~30% for public space (pFA) and 5~8% for management space (emFA). With this composition as a basis, space program estimation of a Korean marina club can be done through the process of estimating in order the marina-exclusive facility area, the floor area by each space and the total floor area, the first floor area, the deck area and the pontoon area. Since the space program established in this study can be utilized as a tool for designing a Korean marina club, it is expected to be helpful in designing marina clubs in the future.

레저용 플로팅건축물 설계를 위한 국내 마리나클럽 현황 및 공간구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Present Condition and Spatial Organization of Domestic Marina Club to Design Leisure Floating Architecture)

  • 마리나클럽을 중심으로 한 마리나는 앞으로 예상되는 해양관광 및 해양레포츠 수요에 대비한 필수적인 시설이다. 국내 여건을 반영하여 마리나와 마리나클럽은 요트수용 대수를 기준으로 한 규모와 프로그램에 따라 레포츠소형, 복합소형, 레포츠중형, 복합중형, 레포츠대형, 복합대형의 6가지 유형으로 구분할 수 있다. 서울마리나, 아라마리나, 전곡마리나 등 3개의 국내 마리나클럽을 분석한 결과 마리나전용 시설과 상업시설의 공간 비율은 평균 21% : 79% 로 나타났다. 단기적으로는 현재의 공간 구성을 유지하는 방향으로 복합형 마리나클럽 계획이 우선 시 될 것으로 예상되며, 장기적으로는 마리나전용시설 비율이 높은 레포츠형 마리나클럽으로 전환될 것으로 보인다. 또한 플로팅 마리나클럽은 해양관광 및 해양레포츠 체험을 극대화하는 친수공간 확보에 매우 유리하다.

충남지역 지방공공의료원의 친환경성 분석 연구 - 토지이용 및 교통부분을 중심으로 (A Study on Environment-friendliness in the Chungnam Regional Public Hospitals - Focused on the Sustainable Site and Transportation)

  • Purpose: Numerous researches about healthcare buildings have been performed however, they were mainly focused on convenience or healing condition for medical treatments. The hospitals consume energy and generate $CO_2$ as twice as the residential or commercial buildings do(Lim, et al., 2010a:154). The public regional hospitals are especially in serious conditions. They are more than 20 years old in average. Energy efficiency and environmental friendliness in the public regional hospitals are far behind ones in private sectors. Even though the ministry of health & welfare is supporting renovation of the builidngs and enhancement of the facilities every year, it is not integrated including sustainibility. In this study, we investigates current conditions of the regional public hospital in envrionment-friendly standpoint, especially focused on Chungcheong Province area Hospitals. The study was executed by qualitative and quantitative evaluations with site inspection, drawing analysis and interviews. Results: Through this study, we found that the Chungnam regional public hospitals can be environmentally improved by management plans and programs. Implications: Based on this analysis, Korean Green Building Certification for healthcare facilities will be developed in near future.

터빈 특성을 고려한 부유식 조류발전장치의 운동성능 고찰 (Dynamic Behavior of Floating Tidal Current Power Device Considering Turbine Specifications)

  • Tidal current power is one of the energy sources of the ocean. Electricity can be generated by converting the flow energy of the current into the rotational energy of a turbine. Unlike tidal barrage, tidal current power does not require dams, which have a severe environmental impact. A floating-type tidal current power device can reduce the expensive support and installation cost, which usually account for approximately 41% of the total cost. It can also be deployed in relatively deep water using tensioned wires. The dynamic behavior of a floater and turbine force are coupled because the thrust and moment of the turbine affect the floater excursion, and the motion of the floater can affect the incoming speed of the flow into the turbine. To maximize the power generation and stabilize the system, the coupled motion of the floater and turbine must be extensively analyzed. However, unlike pile-fixed devices, there have been few studies involving the motion analysis of a moored-type tidal current power device. In this study, the commercial program OrcaFlex 10.1a was used for a time domain motion analysis. In addition, in-house code was used for an iterative calculation to solve the coupled problems. As a result, it was found that the maximum mooring load of 200 kN and the floater excursion of 5.5 m were increased by the turbine effect. The load that occurred on the mooring system satisfied the safety factor of 1.67 suggested by API. The optimum mooring system for the floating tidal current power device was suggested to maximize the power generation and stability of the floater.

형태학적 개념을 활용한 조선시대 고산현의 도시형태 변천과정 해석 (Morphological Interpretation of the Transformation Process of Urban Form in Gosan-Up)

  • 본 연구는 조선시대 읍치로부터 성장한 지방 소도읍의 하나인 고산을 대상으로 형태학적 개념과 연계하여 도시의 형성 발달과정에서 나타나는 형태구조와 도시평면 변화과정을 시계열적으로 분석해보고 시기별 형태특성을 도출해보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 고산의 도시형태 분석을 위하여 콘젠과 카니지아가 설정한 도시형태 분석개념을 토대로 형태구조, 도시평면, 경로체계, 개발규정선, 전이지대, 중심지구, 평면단위, 형태시기, 브레이크 포인트, 자투리필지, 유휴지, 사유화 등의 개념을 도입하였다. 고산현시대에 골격이 형성된 고산의 도시형태 변천과정에는 도시형태 형성-구시가(kernel)의 형태구조 해체 재편-중심지구(epidome district)의 형성 발달-확장형 충진-중심지구 확장 재편으로 이어지는 순환적 사이클이 존재하고 있다. 공공사업은 고산의 형태구조와 도시평면의 변화를 주도하는 요인으로 작용하였다. 초기 단계 고산의 형태적 변화과정에는 간선경로로서 구시가(kernel)을 관통하며 개설된 신작로(고산로)와 이를 연결하는 계획로가 중요한 영향을 미치고 있다. 신작로 개설을 계기로 T(십(十))자형 골격도로체계를 바탕으로 구시가의 대부분을 점유하고 있던 관아시설구역의 평면단위가 소블록 단위의 개방형 평면단위로 전이되었다. 이와 더불어 신작로와 시장 경계도로를 따라 상가가 들어서면서 선형의 평면단위를 지니는 노선상가와 시장이 어우러진 근대적 중심지구를 형성하게 되었다.

Test and Evaluation Procedure of Foam Core Materials for Composite Ships

  • Sandwich structures are general-purpose structures that can reduce the structural weight of composite ships. Core materials are essential for these structures, with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) foams being the most popular. These foam core materials are subjected to various tests in the development process, and must satisfy the performance requirements of several ISO and ASTM standards. Therefore, a procedure for evaluating the performance of foam core materials was proposed in this paper. In addition, prototypes were fabricated using a commercial PVC foam core product in accordance with the structural design of an 11 m fiber-reinforced plastic yacht. Then, a case study was conducted on the proposed evaluation procedure. The proposed procedure facilitates the understanding of the performance requirements and evaluation of core materials used in composite ships and is expected to be utilized in developing core materials for marine structures.

도시녹지의 기능 및 효과에 대한 실증적 연구 - 도시 가로수를 중심으로 - (An Empirical Study on the Function and Effect of Urban Openspace - Focusing on Urban Roadside Trees -)

  • The objective of this study is to review and verify whether the functions and effect of roadside trees generally hewn in theory are actually realized in urban roads and how well they are performed if the function and effect are realized. The study was conducted with a focus on 3 functions and effects including roadside tree's urban landscape improvement function (green area visibility ratio), effect of introducing green area within a city, and urban green network building function. The major study results are as follows: First, the average green area visibility ratio of 41 study areas is currently about 25.90%. The green area visibility ratio of commercial area within downtown was lowest among 5 road types. It showed that it is possible to raise the average green area visibility ratio up to 32.49% through roadside tree management and additional plantation. Second, in a section between Paldal Mountain and Suwon City Hall where there is no forest fragments and parks at all, a green area of 4,826 roadside trees represented 2.4% of total area and served as the only linear green area. Third, an analysis of 15 cities in Kyonggi province showed that urban forests are concentrated in outskirts. The suey showed that because forest fragments and parks exist in a form of points in urban areas, roadside trees are the only green areas that link each other and build a network.
