Community facilities in apartment complex was developed through combination with residents' needs about housing environmental amenity, marketing competition among construction companies and social trend 'Well-being' . But community facilities and fitness center which are situated in the beginning are alienated by residents because the designers plan community facilities without considering about residents' life-style and preference. In this paper, the study includes present status of fitness center and residents' preference for proper fitness center design. The result presents that fitness center users in apartment complex want a resting space which is already located in fitness center of mixed-use residential building. A resting space provides conditions that users can make up with the community each other as well as they can rest after exercise. And the fitness center users prefer wood as interior finish material of floor and wall in exercising space and resting space because they have a feeling comfortable and splendid.

Today, the age of high oil prices is continued, due to the energy demand is on the increase and human principlal energy sorce, fossil fuel. As an alternative plan of energy saving, co-generation system that produces power and thermal energy at the same time has actively developed. In 1960s, co-generation system was introduced to Korea and since 2000 it has diffused throughout the apartment house. Therefore, objectives of this study are to analyze the energy reduction effects in the region 4 apartment houses of Daegu and Kyungbuk regionand set up a plan for its expansion in the future.

In apartment buildings, floor-impact sound has bean regarded as the major source which induces complaints from residents. It is mainly due to the use of light-weight structures. The vibration produced by impact on one part of an apartment building would travel as far as the other parts of structure with a little alleviation. As a result, the impact sound from upstairs has been regarded as a main source of noise causing discontentment among occupants. This study was carried out to measure the floor-impact sound levels and evaluate the insulation performance of floor-impact sound for nine apartment buildings. The floor-impact sound levels were measured for twenty-five On-dol floor structures and various factors which influence the floor-impact sound were analyzed.

The purpose of this study was to provide the fundamental data for the effective housing remodeling plan. Through the questionnaire survey, the actual conditions of remodeling in apartment housing were investigated. And as the result of statistic analysis, the relationships between characteristics of remodeling and building life-cycle, and family life-stage, were found out. The major findings of this study are as follows; 1) Most of apartment residents have remodeled the family living space and private living space. In detail, they performed remodeling frequently the change of finishing materials, facilities and equipments, and the change of the location of curtain wall ＆ storage fixtures. 2) It might be predicted that the building life-cycle was influential variable to predict apartment residents' remodeling. Therefore, in planning the support service for the remodeling, the building life-cycle should be taken into consideration.

Nowadays, apartment is become a representative residential pattern. With these tendency, the concern about the apartment community in order to recover the dreary relationship with neighbors which is one of theproblem of the modern society and supplement of insufficien space of the community. However, this kind of community facirlities programs aren't individualized and it's operation is so paltry that it's actuasituation is no more than a simplesupply. Therefore, this study selected two cases of the apartments which are similar in size of number of families and construction year among winners of an excellent apartment award. I would like to focus on actual conditions of operation and use of the community facilities in management sides' view attempted a comparative analysis.

Applying a life safety concept to apartment design procedure is essential to protect people from unwanted fire. A Balcony design in apartment is a important egress safety factor because it provide means of safe egress and can limit a flame spread to adjacent space from fire source. Some design principles and details of balcony plan are suggested to improve egress safety level with analyzing broad case study.

During the urbanization progresses, apartments such as the house of commons, representing our homes are situated in space. However, many consumer problems of our country's apartment house are caused by the government's failure of housing policy and consumer dispute resolution system In this study, apartment house and alleviate consumer disputes relating to in proactive ways to improve the government's housing policy was presented. At the same time, since the revision of Consumer Fundamental Act on collective alternative dispute resolution system has proposed scheme, this occurred after a dispute to resolve the dispute can be more efficient ways.

Fast economic growth resulted in fast industrialization and metropolitanization. At that time, housing was supplied in large quantity, and the apartment became a dominant type of housing in Korea It is partly due to the high population density. But, large quantity supply of apartments caused a lot of problems. One of the biggest problems is decomposition of traditional communities. As interest about quality of life grows since the 90's, the recovery of communities is getting an import assignment that should be solved. Architects investigate ways of arrangement and community facilities planning. off-line Communities might be substituted by or supported with cyber communities through the use of IT technology. The construction of cyber apartment is getting popular by the governmental incentive in 1999. At first, the infrastructure has been constructed, and then the current emphasis in on forming the information community to provide various service.

As the housing market is changing, there's a trend that the brand marketing through the TV-CM is increasing. Thus, this study purposes to identify the characteristics and the limit of the marketing on the housing market by analyzing the elements of marketing on TV-CM in the 2000's and comparing the representative business enterprises with each other. In the case of television advertisement, it is dominated by the emotional advertisement which is sensitive and image-oriented than the rational one. In addition, 1 pointed out some problems resulted from the transitional feature of the television advertisement and the gap between the real apartment and its brand image appeared on the advertisement, then I will present corresponding solutions.

With the life style changing and the income level improving in our society, the composition of apartment residents and the preference are diversifying. For that reason, various residential plans are desired. However in bearing wall system the existing apartments have a clear attribute of a fixed system, consequently, they have a difficulty in being adapted to the social requirement. In this research, 1 would like to put a variable apartment to practical use in which with a suitable structure system applied to a variable apartment considered as remodeling system various residential requirements are accepted and the change of the family life cycle and moreover, effective and systematic remodeling are accomplished.
