전자사진 기술을 사용하는 이미징 장치의 에너지 효율 기준 연구 (Energy efficiency standard for imaging equipments using electrophotograph printing)

  • 본 논문에서는 전자사진 기술을 이용하는 프린터, 복사기, 팩시밀리, 복합기 등과 같은 이미징 장치의 효율등급기준에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 대기전력을 관리하고 있는 현 제도의 문제점을 파악하고 효율관리 필요성을 제안하였으며, 이를 위한 효율 기준을 국내 대기전력저감 프로그램에 등록된 실증 데이터를 기반으로 개발하였다. 효율부여지표를 찾기 위해 상관분석(Correlation Analysis)을 실시하였으며, 인쇄 속도가 가장 큰 상관계수(Correlation Coefficient)를 가짐을 확인하였다. 이를 적용한 복합기, 프린터에 대한 1~5 등급의 효율등급 기준과 에너지 프론티어 기준을 도출하였으며, 정책반영 시 연간 약 650 억 원의 에너지 비용을 절감할 것으로 기대한다.

인구구조의 변화와 교육투자의 효율성 (The Change of Age Structure of Population and the Efficiency of Education Investment)

  • 본 연구는 106개 국가 간 통계자료를 사용해 인구구조의 변화와 교육투자의 효율성 간의 관계를 검토했다. 선행연구에 기초해 전체인구 대비 청소년층 인구비율과 교육투자의 효율성과 간에는 음(-)의 관계가 존재하는 반면, 노인층 인구비율과 교육투자의 효율성 간에는 양(+)의 관계가 존재한다는 가설을 설정했다. 실증분석 결과 이상의 가설은 표본이나 모형의 선택에 상관없이 성립하는 것으로 추정됐다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 고령화와 저출산으로 인해 생산가능인구 감소가 심각한 사회문제로 인식되고 있는 우리나라와 같은 국가의 경우 보다 교육비지출이 효율적으로 이뤄져야 하며, 교육성과를 극대화하기 위한 제도적 장치를 마련해야 한다는 시사점을 제공한다.

부하를 고려한 태양열온수시스템의 일간 집열효율에 대한 실험적 분석 (An Experimental Study on Daily Efficiency of Solar Collector with Heating Loads of Solar Water Heating System)

  • This paper describes an experimental study on efficiency of solar collector in solar water heating system connected to hourly water heating load. In general, the functional form of solar efficiency is expressed as a function of fluid temperature entering solar collector, ambient temperature, and solar irradiance. When energy saving from solar heating of water heating system is analyzed on along-term basis such as one year with given solar irradiance data, simplified analysis is more convenient han detailed system simulation for quick assessment. However, the functional form of the efficiency is not convenient for approximately simplified energy analysis because the inlet temperature can be obtained through a detailed system simulation. In the study, solar collector efficiency is obtained with various daily water heating load sand daily solar irradiance using experimental tests. The study also considers large residential buildings such as apartment buildings for application of solar water heating systems. From test results, it is found that daily solar collector efficiency is proportional to daily water heating loads and daily solar irradiance. The data obtained from the study can be utilized to find a functional relation between daily solar irradiance and daily heating load in stead of collector inlet temperature for application of solar collector efficiency to long-term approximated energy analysis of solar heating system.

A Study on Determining Trade Terms for Logistics Efficiency in the Era of Logistics 4.0: Moderated Mediating Effect of Added Value of Traded Goods

  • Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to study how flexibility and mutuality in determining trade terms impact logistics efficiency in the context of relational theory. Additionally, the effect of relational contracts on logistical efficiency relative to the value of the goods being traded is investigated. Design/methodology - According to the relational contract theory, we developed 17 factors utilizing a 7-point Likert scale to measure variables related to flexibility, mutuality, logistics efficiency, and the added value of goods. The survey occurred over four months, and was distributed directly, and via email, phone, and online Google surveys. A total of 403 surveys were collected out of 1,800 distributed, and 380 were analyzed. The principal respondents were import/export companies and members of the Korea International Trade Association and the Korea Small and Medium Business Export-Import Association. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and correlation analysis using SPSS ver. 26.0 statistical software, and hypothesis test results were derived using Process Macro ver. 3.5. Findings - This study provides evidence that negotiation flexibility for trade terms affects the efficiency of the logistics process, and the mutuality of such arrangements is shown to be associated with the flexibility and efficiency of logistics processes. Additionally, it has been established that companies whose trade goods possess a low degree of added value may experience increased efficiency in logistics operations if they agree to trade terms that are both flexible and mutually beneficial with their counterparts. Originality/value - This study suggests that in an environment of rapidly shifting global logistics and unpredictable related costs, trade companies may be able to improve logistics efficiency by establishing flexible, mutually beneficial trade terms when entering into contracts. Furthermore, it is suggested that companies dealing in low-value-added products may improve the logistical performance of approaching trade from a perspective of relational contracts.

병원 서비스품질 차이요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Difference Factors in Service Quality for Hospital Industries)

  • This study is to identify the differences in service quality for the 2nd-scale hospital Industries. The subjects of this survey for the empirical analysis are limited to the 2nd- scale hospitals in Korea: data are collected in Seoul, Incheon and Kyungki areas. The results are as follows. First, the efficiency for hospital operations confirmed the differences in bed scale. Second, the high-efficiency hospitals attach importance to efficiency with more than 100 bad scale and the low-efficiency hospitals attach Importance to service quality with less than 100 bed scale.

3주기 및 4주기 교원양성기관 평가 후 전국 대학 유아교육과 효율성 분석 (An Analysis of Change in Efficiency of Department of Early Childhood Education in KOREA)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 전국 대학 유아교육과의 효율성 변화를 분석하여 교원양성기관 역량진단의 효과성을 살펴보고, 효율적인 유아교육과와 비효율적인 유아교육과의 특성 및 효율성에 영향을 끼치는 변수들을 확인하여 정책적인 시사점을 제공하는 데에 있다. 연구목적을 위해 전국 대학 유아교육과 149개 데이터를 사용하여 자료포락분석을 실시, 교원양성기관 평가 완료 이전의 효율성 연구결과와 비교분석하였다. 불변규모수익기술과 가변규모수익기술을 가정한 산출지향 모형을 추정하여 CCR과 BCC모형으로 상대적 운영효율성 추정하였고, 투입요소로는 전임교원 1인당 학생 수, 학생 1인당 장학금, 전임교원 1인당 연구비, 학생 1인당 장서 수, 학생 1인당 교육비를 산출요소로는 전임교원 1인당 연구실적, 취업률을 사용하였다. 토빗모형을 통해 투입, 산출요소 및 외생변수(설립유형, 학교종류, 입학정원규모, 소재지) 중 효율성에 영향을 끼치는 요인들을 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 전국 대학 유아교육과는 효율적으로 운영되고 있으며 3주기 및 4주기 교원양성기관 평가 완료 전과 규모효율성과 운영효율성에 차이가 없었다. CCR에서 강효율 유아교육과는 학생 1인당 장학금, 장서 수, 교육비가 유의하게 낮음에도 불구, 유의하게 높은 전임교수 1인당 연구실적과 취업률을 보이나, BCC 아래 학생1인당 장서 수, 취업률 이외에는 통계적 유의성을 상실하며, 토빗모형 계수도 실제적인 영향을 논하기에는 미미하다. 전문대학과 입학정원규모 60명 이상, 광역권 유아교육과의 운영효율성이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과는 교육의 질적 향상을 통한 효율성 증대를 목적으로 하는 평가정책에 시사점을 준다.

방진마스크의 Stainless steel arc 용접흄 여과효율에 관한 연구 (A Study on Filtration Efficiency of Several Dust Masks for Stainless Steel arc Welding fume)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate for filtration efficiency of several dust masks, comparing with filtration efficiency certified by KOSHA(Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency), and to require of the right use of protective respirators. Using a welding fume generator and chamber, several dust masks, which were widely used in the workplaces in korea, were tested for their filtering efficiency for stainless steel arc welding fume. The filtration efficiency testing system consisted of a welding fume generator, a chamber and a filtration unit. The filtration unit was made of a mask which was inserted into the sampling cassette and another sampling cassette, which contained mixed cellulose ester filter paper. These two cassettes were connected with tubing. Stainless steel arc welding fume generator was delivered into an chamber. The welding fume in the chamber was passed into the filtration unit with flow rate of 30 liter/min. The welding fume filtration efficiency was evaluated by gravimetric measurement. Metal concentrations in the welding fume before and after filtration were measured with inductive coupling plasma analyzer. Following results were obtained: Filtration efficiency of welding fume for common hygienic mask was 63.82% and the average efficiencies for A, B, C, D, E, F and G masks were 94.62%, 96.58%, 83.20%, 82.76%, 77.25%, 86.55% and 93.22%, respectively. Our results indicate that dust masks used widely in the welding workplaces in korea are not proper for protecting worker's health and then the use of fume mask should be required.

  • The cooling unit of the industrial showcase consists of a compressor, a condenser and an evaporator. An axial fan is used to circulate the air to improve the efficiency of the heat exchanger. In the past, aluminum fans have been used, which have problems such as low performance, efficiency, high failure rate, and high noise. This study is to develop high performance, high efficiency plastic fan replacing aluminum fan. A major factor in determining the performance and noise of an axial fan is the angle and cross-sectional shape of the blade, which is suitable for raising the lift force, thereby controlling the vortex, which is the main cause of noise and performance degradation. In order to produce a high efficiency injection molded fan, it is necessary to develop a mold that minimizes the deformation of the injection process for the designed shape. In this study, we developed a high efficiency, low noise plastic injection fan with more than 11% performance improvement and noise reduction compared to conventional aluminum fan.

Energy Efficiency Improvement of Vanadium Redox Flow Battery by Integrating Electrode and Bipolar Plate

  • An integral electrode-bipolar plate assembly, which is composed of electrode, conductive adhesive film (CAF) and bipolar plate, has been developed and evaluated for application with a vanadium redox flow battery (VRB) to decrease contact resistance between electrode and bipolar plate. The CAF, made of EVA (ethylene-vinyl-acetate) material with carbon black or CNT (Carbon Nano Tube), is applied between the electrode and the bipolar plate to enable an integral assembly by adhesion. In order to evaluate the integral assembly of VRB by adhesive film, the resistivity of integral assembly and the performance of single cell were investigated. Thus, it was verified that the integral assembly is applicable to redox flow battery. Through resistance and contact resistance of bare EVA and CAF films on bipolar plate were changed. Among the adhesive films, CAF film coated with carbon black showed the lowest value in through resistance, and CAF film coated with CNT showed the lowest value in contact resistance, respectively. The efficiency of VRB single cell was improved by applying CAF films coated with carbon black and CNT, resulting in the reduced overvoltage in charging process. Therefore, the energy efficiency of both CAF films, about 84%, were improved than that of blank cell, about 79.5 % under current density at 40 mA cm-2. The energy efficiency of the two cells were similar, but carbon black coated CAF improved the coulomb efficiency and CNT coated CAF improved the voltage efficiency, respectively.

DEA-AR 모형을 이용한 일관제철소 철광석 브랜드별 효율성 평가 (The Efficiency Assessment of the Iron Ore Brands Using DEA-AR Model in an Integrated Steel Mill)

  • This paper proposes a DEA-AR model for the efficiency evaluation of the iron ore brands in an integrated steel mill. The input factor is defined as unit cost of each brand based on CIF and two output factors are chosen as Fe and Al which are the important ingredients of iron ore. The relative importance between two output factors is determined by several experts using AHP model. The efficiency of each brand is determined using DEA and DEA-AR models. The negative correlation between the DEA-AR efficiency and the unit cost (CIF) is shown as significant whereas no significant correlation exist between the efficiency and the output factors. Also, the Kruskal Wallis rank sum test shows that there exist efficiency differences among the iron ore types whereas no difference is shown among the countries. The result could be utilized in selecting good brands of iron ores based on the DEA-AR efficiency in an integrated steel mill.
