This paper presents an environment for rule-based English-Korean machine translation system, which supports the translation domain adaptation and the continuous translation quality improvement. For the purposes, corpus is essential, from which necessary information for translation will be acquired. The environment consists of a corpus construction part and a translation knowledge extraction part. The corpus construction part crawls news articles from some newspaper sites. The extraction part builds the translation knowledge such as newly-created words, compound words, collocation information, distributional word representations, and so on. For the translation domain adaption, the corpus for the domain should be built and the translation knowledge should be constructed from the corpus. For the continuous improvement, corpus needs to be continuously expanded and the translation knowledge should be enhanced from the expanded corpus. The proposed web-based environment is expected to facilitate the tasks of domain adaptation and translation system improvement.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of structured information provided on self care knowledge, self care performance, and functional status. Method: The data were collected using self care knowledge and performance assessment tool, and functional status assessment tool from both group hospitalized patients at D hospital in Busan. Results: There was a significant improvement(p=.032) in self care knowledge in experimental group compared to the control group. But there were not improvement in self care performance and functional status in experimental group compared to the control group. But comparing to pretest and posttest in experimental group, There were significant improvement in self care performance (p=.003) and functional status(p=.013). Conclusion: Structured information provided showed increased in the degree of knowledge, self care performance, and functional status. But the effect size of program which had been developed in this study was estimated small, so there is needed to modify this program and to research repeatedly.

This study investigated the perceptions of beginning teachers about teacher knowledge. Reflections and improvement of their class knowledge have been perceived as the most important factors by beginning teachers. In terms of utilization of actual classes, teacher knowledge, mathematical concepts and correlations such as connection linked to class contents and hierarchy have been used the most. Among the needed teachers knowledge, knowledge of student understanding and mathematics content knowledge was the most essential knowledge that could be mainly formed through classroom experience and teacher training program. On the other hand, knowledge about technology and assessment was not necessary or useful factor for beginning teachers. To facilitate formation of beginning teachers' knowledge, teacher introductory program, mentoring program, interactive relationship with teacher education institutes, curriculum improvement for teacher education institute and the development and dissemination of various teachers training program would be required.

In domestic university libraries, the difference between the knowledge resource collection activities on campus is depending on the size of the university, and their collection is concentrated on some types of digital resources. In recent years, the main universities in developed countries has developed actively in social openness and share activities of their knowledge resources, through the OA-based institutional repository, for the purpose of image improvement and competitiveness as a knowledge production base. This study examined ways to improve the relevant regulations in order to effectively collect and systematically manage the knowledge resources from graduate school, research institutes, center for teaching and learning, e-learning center, museum, press, a variety of campus organizations, so as to enhance the role of the library as the right manager of knowledge resources on campus. To this end, this study, considering the improvement of relevant regulations, investigates the operating situation of the library regulations of 176 universities and suggests necessary improvement methods in order to facilitate the digital legal deposit and expand its scope.

SNS is one of the fastest service entering in mature stage. But now there are not any empirical analysis the effect of SNS from user point of view. In this paper, we investigate the effect of self presentation on SNS to interpersonal relation and intention to use. we set online presentation self-efficacy and involvement as two antecedent factors. And we suggest that the purposes of using SNS be Image improvement and knowledge contribution. The change of interpersonal relation in offline is set a result of using SNS and a mediating variable between online self-presentation and intention to use. In the results, firstly, we confirmed that the online presentation self-efficacy and involvement are predisposing factors for online self-presentation on SNS in the positive direction. Secondly, the using SNS has significantly positive effect on the change of interpersonal relation. Especially, the improvement of interpersonal relation is originated from image improvement and knowledge contribution. Thirdly, the improvement of interpersonal relation have also significantly more higher effect on the intention of use.

This cross-level study of 77 samples from Korean 1st-tier suppliers participating in knowledge-sharing networks examined the impact of partnering(joint establishment of goal and joint problem solving system) on supplier relationship outcomes(competativeness improvement and innovative idea suggestion). The findings showed that joint establishment of goal and joint problem solving system were positively related to both supplier's competativeness improvement and its innovative idea suggestion. Whereas, joint problem solving system did account for a significant variance only in innovative idea suggestion. The findings, further, demonstrated that mutual trust moderated the relationship between joint problem solving system and supplier relationship outcomes. Implications for theory and practice are suggested.

This paper seeks to search a improved evaluation system of government sponsored research institutes(GSRI) as a knowledge system It begins with a brief review of the theory of knowledge and knowledge system This is followed by a search of the desirable conditions of the evaluation system of GSRI as a knowledge system These conditions presented are applied within the context of the current evaluation system of GSRI. Due to the awareness for the importance of social capital, many researches have investigated that social capital contributes to the successful implementation of product innovation. Although most researchers tried to model the effect of social capital on product innovation as a linear relation, we consider it too simplistic and fuzzy because knowledge utilization which ultimately leads to product innovation should exist in the relationship between social capital and product innovation. Using 107 survey data, this study found there is a partial mediating effect of knowledge utilization on the link between structure aspect of social capital and product innovation (i.e., new product development and improvement in existing products). Next, this study reported knowledge utilization does act as a perfect mediating variable on the link between awareness aspect of social capital and improvement of existing products, but act as a partial mediating variable on the link between awareness aspect of social capital and new product development. Finally, this study found that knowledge utilization does not act as a mediating variable on the link between relation aspect of social capita and product innovation.

Purpose: This study attempted to describe hospital nurses' pre-diabetes knowledge, performance and expectation of patient. Methods: The total of 204 hospital nurses were administered the questionnaires. The questionnaire comprises general background information (including sex, age, religion, education and career), ten researcher-generated questions regarding knowledge about pre-diabetes, performance of patient education (including how many people encounter in workplace, how often teaching, how many minutes required to teach and course contents) and expectation (including need improvement of teaching, barrier to education and desirable course contents and teaching methods) Results: The average score of hospital nurses' pre-diabetes knowledge was as low as 0.82 (82% correctness). On comparison of the knowledge levels among ten pre-diabetes knowledge dimensions, the highest score was 0.95 for necessary of medical check-up. The lowest score was 0.57 for complication can rarely happen. Significant correlations were observed for education, career and knowledge regarding pre-diabetes. Moreover, 49.5% of the nurses did not instruct patients about pre-diabetes, 24.5% taught prevention skills to a third of the pre-diabetes patients they encountered, and 61.2% nurses disseminated information under 5 minutes. Improvement was necessary for 78 nurses (75.8%). Conclusion: Pre-diabetes awareness among nurses is necessary.

Concentration about value of invisible asset has increased in the condition of rapid business circumstance change. As one of these concentration, many company adopted knowledge management, and construction industry also tried to adopt knowledge management. However, it is difficult for construction company to get expected effects because of knowledge management system in no relation with business process. To solve this problems, this study adopted BPM that has many functions, such as business process design, operation, monitoring, sustainable improvement, to knowledge classification structure.
