Results: 58.6 percent of subjects experienced a exposure to blood and body fluid. The level of nursing students' knowledge level regarding standard precautions was $22.44{\pm}2.11$ and performance level was $4.31{\pm}0.50$. The factors affecting on blood and body fluid exposure of nursing students were knowledge level and education type about infection control. Conclusions: Based on the findings of this study, to decrease the exposure to blood and body fluid of nursing students, a proper education need to be stressed to improve nursing students' infection control knowledge and awareness.
Purpose: This study examines the effect of distribution knowledge sharing on innovation ability using work ethic as a variable that strengthens this effect. Research design, data and methodology: This research was conducted on 283 auditors who work at the Small Public Accounting Firm (SPAF) in Indonesia. The research method used is a verification method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling type. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used is PLS-SEM. Results: The results of the tests that have been carried out show that distribution knowledge sharing has a significant effect on the auditor's innovation ability. Other test results show that work ethic has a significant effect on innovation ability and work ethic strengthens the effect of distribution knowledge sharing on auditors' innovation ability. Conclusions: Auditors in Indonesia have implemented distribution knowledge sharing activities optimally followed by a maximum work ethic to encourage high innovation abilities that will be able to create new methods and ideas that can be useful for clients. This research is expected to provide distribution knowledge to auditors to be able to improve their abilities, especially in the field of auditing to increase their competence as auditors.
We consider associative ring R (not necessarily commutative). In this paper the concepts: zero square ring of type-1/type-2, zero square ideal of type-1/type-2, zero square dimension of a ring R were introduced and obtained several important results. Finally, some relations between the zero square dimension of the direct sum of finite number of rings; and the sum of the zero square dimension of individual rings; were obtained. Necessary examples were provided.
Type I Interferons (IFNs) are potent antiviral cytokines that modulate both innate immunity and adaptive immunity. Type I IFNs are immediately induced by viral infection, and stimulate production of a broad range of gene products such as double-stranded RNA-activated protein kinase (PKR), 2' 5'-oligoadenylate synthetase (OAS)/RNaseL and Mx GTPases. These proteins inhibit viral replication in host cells. Type I IFNs, in turn, lead to antiviral state at early phase of viral infection. We provide an overview of the knowledge of IFN-inducible antiviral proteins conserved in vertebrates.

Purpose: This study was done to describe level of knowledge and performance of pain management by nurses in general hospitals. Methods: The study was conducted from August 1 to 28, 2014 with 141 nurses from a general hospital in B city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient with SPSS 20.0. Results: Average correct response rate for knowledge was 62.7%, indicating poor knowledge of pain management. Mean score for knowledge of pain management was $31.33{\pm}3.24$ out of 50(general knowledge about pain $14.02{\pm}2.18$ out of 20, knowledge on use of analgesics $9.21{\pm}1.97$ out of 20, knowledge on analgesic classification $8.16{\pm}1.00$ out of 10). Mean score for performance of pain management was $3.19{\pm}.44$ out of 4. There was significant difference in knowledge of pain management by age. Performance of pain management differed significantly according to age and type of working unit. No significant relationship was found between knowledge and performance of pain management. Conclusion: These findings show that nurses who have good knowledge do not always have good performance of pain management. Therefore, it is necessary to develop new strategies to promote performance as well as continued pain management education to increase ability of nurses to manage pain.
This article advocates for a Mode 3 science policy. Compared to the university research-based Mode 1 knowledge production system and the knowledge application-centric Mode 2 innovation system, Mode 3 can be defined as a system that integrates both Mode 1 and Mode 2-type knowledge production models. In this article, based on the major characteristics of the Mode 3 scientific knowledge production system, I agree with the advocates of Mode 3 that constructing a knowledge society requires an inclusive form of knowledge production and innovation system through the democratization of knowledge production as well as the promotion of social values. Moreover, the mechanisms for creating accountable innovation in the Mode 3 system should be given more attention from the science research and policy communities to make public policy for scientific and technological innovation more reflective of social changes. Similar to the ways that the Mode 1 and Mode 2 scientific knowledge production approaches have influenced the development of science policy models, the Mode 3 scientific knowledge production approach, or Mode 3 science, also has the potential to shape a new science policy model. I will refer to this as Mode 3 science policy. In an effort to conceptualize the democracy- and society-centric Mode 3 science policy model, I will articulate science policy strategies in four science policy domains in South Korea from the context of the Mode 3 science approach. These include (1) evaluation of publicly-funded research activities, (2) valorization of scientific knowledge (that is, enhancement of the value of scientific knowledge through governmental action), (3) development of a science policy decision-making support system, and (4) anticipatory foresight of science, technology and society. When adopting and implementing a Mode 3 science framework, one progressive change is to increase socially desirable innovation such as responsible innovation.
Mobility service is a service that connects consumers and suppliers of transportation using information and communication technology (ICT), and aims to reduce inconvenience to users in the current transportation system and increase environmental sustainability. Recently, the use of mobility services is gradually increasing, and interest in it from academia and industry is growing. This study derives key influencing factors related to the increase in intention to use vehicle mobility services, and comparatively analyzes the influences between groups by service type (car-hailing vs. car-sharing services) and by generation (generation MZ vs. generation X). As a result of the comparative study, there were differences in user benefits between service type groups, and differences in user benefits and attitudes toward mobility platforms between generation groups. Through this comparative study, the main factors affecting the increase in the intention to use the vehicle mobility service by generation and service type and their differences were identified. This study provides implications to consider in terms of knowledge management for activating vehicle mobility services according to the major target users and service types.
This study was conducted to identify nutrition knowledge, eating behaviors, and the need for an integrated program to improve eating behaviors according to residential type of female college students. Data were collected from March 16 to April 16, 2021, using online self-report questionnaires and the final 217 data were used. To analyze data, frequencies and percentages, means and standard deviations, independent sample t-test, and ANOVA were conducted using SPSS WIN 26.0. The results showed that home residents had better eating behaviors than those living in rented rooms. Moreover, the demand for an integrated eating behavior improvement program for disease and health information topic was higher among home residents and participants in rented rooms than among those living in dormitories. When developing an integrated program for improving eating behaviors among female college students, it is essential to apply a differentiated intervention program that considers residential type.
