The purpose of this study is to examine the research trends in the filed of individual knowledge hiding through keyword network analysis. As individuals intentionally hide their knowledge beyond not sharing their knowledge in organizations and the research on knowledge hiding steadily spreads, it is necessary to examine the research trends regarding knowledge hiding behaviors. For keyword network analyses, we collected 346 kinds of 578 keywords from 120 articles associated with knowledge hiding behaviors. We also transformed the keywords to 86 nodes and 667 links by data standardizing criteria and finally analyzed the keyword network among them. Moreover, this study scrutinized knowledge hiding trends by comparing the conceptual model for knowledge hiding based on literature review and the network structure based on keyword network analysis. As results, first, the network centrality degree, knowledge sharing, creativity, and performance was higher than others in Degree, Betweenness, Closeness centrality. Second, this study analyzed ego networks about psychological ownership and individual emotion theoretically associated with knowledge hiding and explored the relationship between variables through comparing with the conceptual model for knowledge hiding. Finally, the study suggested theoretical and practical implications and provided the limitations and suggestions for future research based on study findings.
Exploring on two major questions: 'Why do we feel more love for certain objects?' and 'How can design use this knowledge to realize design sustainability?', this article presents an alternative way of approaching the problem of design sustainability from the perspective that our relationships with design objects are of an extended mode of social relations. Recent discussions on design sustainability have transformed the notion of the problem by seeing it as a problem of our basic perception of design objects and our relationships with them. In this light, I propose that design sustainability could not be achieved solely by approaching from a mechanistic perspective, but by re-framing the way we see and relate things around us and by supporting our changes and actions to move forward a more sustainable notion of our relationships with the objects. As a way to realize design sustainability, I propose that design should involve story-making quality that supports our initiatives to build more affectional relations with objects by seeing the objects as entities of communication that tell stories of us, thus reflect our identities and meanings of our lives. Proceeding on the exploration of the subject, I present some of conceptual outlines in forms of an image diary, an interplay-able furniture unit, and a performance instruction that suggest a way for a special story-making process and thus a stronger emotional tie with the objects.
This study explores the critical reflection process experienced by home economics preservice teachers during practicum. Data were collected in a critical analysis of class, practicum review, and journals written by sixteen preservice teachers. Text material were composed of 188 transcripts on A4 paper and 36 page of mini-notes. The collected data were analyzed by a thematic coding method in qualitative research and proceeded in the order of three steps of transference, coding, and subject discovery. The emerging themes were: 1) Observing class 2) Practicing class 3) Growth of class practice 4) Reflecting class. First, the observing class was an exploration process through the viewing of daily classes that involved the process of recognizing the classroom situation and various classroom contexts. Second, the practicing class was to strengthen the consideration of the class to form a relationship that could lead to learning in educational situations. Third, the growth of class practice was intended to recognize the orientation of the subject matter with pedagogical content knowledge. Four, the reflecting class was the process of experiencing practice with a continuous understanding of the class, class reflection, and changing the perspective from the current status. There is a part where critical reflection is difficult to be promoted deeply during 4 weeks; however, there was a possibility of a reflection practice that could promote achievement through the experience of a practicing class.
This paper deals with a crucial mechanism for interaction of basic drugs and cardiac glycosides at the hepatic uptake level. Available literature data is provided and new material is presented to picture the differential transport inhibition of bulky (type2) cationic drugs by a number of cardiac glycosides in rat liver. It is shown that the so called organic anion transporting peptide 2 (oatp2) is the likely interaction site: differential inhibition patterns as observed in oocytes expressing oatp2, could be clearly identified also in isolated rat hepatocytes, isolated perfused rat liver and the rat in vivo. The anticipation of transport interactions at the hepatic clearance level should be based on data on the relative affinities of interacting substrates for the transport systems involved along with knowledge on the pharmacokinetics of these agents as well as the chosen dose regimen in the studied species. This review highlights the importance of multispecific tranporter systems such as OATP, accommodating a broad spectrum of organic compounds of various charge, implying potential transport interactions that can affect body distribution and organ clearance.

The study aims to investigate the relationship between innovation activities and business process performance in higher education institution (hereinafter referred to as "HEI") context. The data was collected using a survey and later analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLSSEM) and SmartPLS software. A total of 50 questionnaires were submitted from respondents representing vocational study program management located in Makassar, Indonesia. The findings show that two hypotheses discussed in this study fit the empirical data. Specifically, the results show that there is a positive relationship between innovation activities and business process performance, involving two types of innovation activities, which are exploration activities and exploitation activities, within HEIs. Explorative activity is firmly related to exploitative activity, which furthermore links to business process performance within the HEIs observed. The results confirm that exploration activity can stimulate and lead the HEIs management to generate exploitation activity. For instance, capabilities to absorb knowledge from the external institution may lead this institution to generate advanced academic processes, as well as more efficient and effective managerial processes. The study also signifies ambidexterity capacity, suggesting that it may lead HEIs management to formulate proper strategies in achieving better performance and gaining competitive advantage.

Since the emerging period in !be Greek era, geography bas been defined as an empirical science in which travel and field trip bas been regarded as its major method for acquiring geographical knowledge or discovering geographical facts on the earth surface. In the contemporary geography, however, this kind of empiricism has been reduced to logical positivism which pursues rigid geographical laws, while diverse implications for empiricism (especially, that implied in the mythic imagination) have been ignored. On the other hand, recently a lot of books on trip for exploring regional cultural environments from the local to the global level have been poured out from outside of geography, and place-marketing has gained some attraction as a new method or strategy for regional development This paper is to consider diverse methodological implications of experience through geographical exploration especially hath from the standpoint of empirical geography and of humanistic geography, and the look on methodologically importance and limitations of place-marketing for regional development In conclusions, it is emphasized that those methodologies should be put together for a genuine exploration of regional cultural environment, and that place-marketing should be understood as a movement for rediscovering regional identity.

First steps of Planetary exploration are usually conducted with the use of autonomous rovers. These rovers are capable of finding its own path and perform experiments about the planet's surface. This paper makes a proposal for a multi-agent system which effectively take the advantage of a blackboard system for share knowledge and effort of each agent. Agents use Reactive Model with the combination of Belief Desire Intension (BDI) Model and also use a Path Finding Algorithm for calculate shortest distance and a path for travel on the planet's surface. This approach can perform a surface exploration on a given terrain within a short period of time. Information which are gathered on the blackboard are used to make an output with detailed surface soil variance results. The developed Multi-Agent system performed well with different terrain sizes.

This study analyzed the types of knowledge building discourse and knowledge building processes in small group learning using augmented reality. Eight 8th grade students took classes using augmented reality in solubility, boiling and melting points. These classes were carried out twice and all the classes were videotaped and recorded. Every student participated in a semi-structured interview. In the types of knowledge building discourse, the proportion of knowledge sharing and knowledge construction was similar. Beneath the knowledge sharing, the proportion of introductory level discussion was higher than identifying key elements of augmented reality. Recalling existing knowledge rarely appeared. Under the knowledge construction, the proportion of advanced level discussion was the highest and the proportion of sharing and critiquing ideas at a different level and efforts to rise above current levels of explanation was similar. The introductory level discussion and identifying key elements of augmented reality were developed into efforts to rise above current levels of explanation and sharing and critiquing ideas at a different level. Visualized results of knowledge building processes showed all the students' graph drew an upward curve, though cumulative number of impact value was different by each student. As a result of the study, effective ways of improving small group learning using augmented reality are discussed.

The purpose of this study was to analyze science-gifted students' knowledge-generation processes by analyzing students' inquiry journal. As a result, first, science-gifted students showed various knowledge-generation processes, but they were limited to inductive thinking and abductive thinking, and their thinking processes were very simple. Second, most of the knowledge-generation processes of science gifted were simple, repetitive and diagrammatic processes because of observation and empirical situation of a limited scope. And a simple and repetitive diagram was generated by a simple variable selection and design, observation in limited scope, unbiased intervention by subjective thinking, and absence of exploration or finding errors. And they showed often a logical leap of reasoning.
Korean manufacturing industry have recently faced the catch-up of China in the mass commodity product, such as automotive, display, and smart phone in terms of market as well as technology. Accordingly, discussion on the importance of achieving catch-up in complex product systems (CoPS) has been increasing as a new innovation engine for the industry. In order to achieve successful catch-up of CoPS, we explored emerging technologies of CoPS, which are featured by the characteristics of radical novelty, relatively fast growth and self-sustaining, through the study of emerging technologies of gas turbine for power generation. We found that emerging technologies of the gas turbine are technologies for combustion nozzle and composition of electrical machine for increasing power efficiency, washing technology for particulate matter, cast and material processing technology for enhancing durability from fatigue, cooling technologies from extremely high temperature, interconnection operation technology between renewable energy and the gas turbine for flexibility in power generation, and big data technology for remote monitoring and diagnosis of the gas turbine. We also found that those emerging technologies resulted in technological progress of the gas turbine by converging with other conventional technologies in the gas turbine. It indicates that emerging technologies in CoPS can be appeared on various technological knowledge fields and have complementary relationship with conventional technologies for technology progress of CoPS. It also implies that latecomers need to pursue integrated learning that includes emerging technologies as well as conventional technologies rather than independent learning related to emerging technologies for successful catch-up of CoPS. Our findings provide an important initial theoretical ground for investigating the emerging technologies and their characteristics in CoPS as well as recognizing knowledge management strategy for successful catch-up of latecomers. Our findings also contribute to the policy development of the CoPS from the perspective of innovation strategy and knowledge management.
