다양한 링크구동 기계프레스에 대한 기구학적 분석 (Kinematic Analysis of Several Linkage Drives for Mechanical Presses)

  • This paper is concerned with the kinematic analysis of several linkage drives for mechanical presses. Load and velocity characteristics of conventional presses are illustrated and a design of new drive for a mechanical press is represented. In this regard, a crank-slider mechanism with arc crank-pin guide is introduced and compared with other linkage drives. Kinematic performances are analyzed in respect of load capacity, slide velocity characteristics using a developed SS-Plot program. The new linkage drive turns out to be effective in terms of load and velocity characteristics, and productivity.

  • This paper presents the two degree-of-freedom(DOF) planar parallel mechanism called 2R$\underline{P}$R-RP manipulator, whose degree-of freedom is dependent on a passive constraining leg connecting the base and the platform. First, the kinematic analysis of the mechanism is performed analytically: the inverse and forward kinematic problems are solved in the closed font the practical workspace is systematically derived, and all of the singular configurations are examined. Then, in order to determine the geometric parameters and the operating limits of the actuators, the optimization of the mechanism is performed considering its dexterity and stiffness. Finally, the kinematic performances of the optimized mechanism are evaluated through comparing to the 5-bar parallel manipulator.

  • In this study, a 3-DOF XYZ micro parallel manipulator utilizing compliance mechanism is developed and analyzed. In so doing, a matrix method is used to rapidly solve displacements of the designed kinematic structure, and then kinematic characteristics of the developed manipulator are analyzed. Finally, the design analysis of the kinematic characteristics by changing hinge thickness and structure to improve workspace and translation motion is performed to show that the performance of the developed manipulator is relatively superior to the other similar kind of manipulators.

  • Automatic transmissions are standard equipment in most automotive vehicles because they provide smooth speed shifting and a compact design with multiple speed ratios. Their structure consists mainly of planetary gear sets as power-transmitting devices and brakes and clutches as shifting devices. Several forward and one reverse speed ratios are achieved by actuating shifting devices to connect gears, input and output shafts, and the transmission case. In the development of a new transmission, kinematic configurations reflecting the transmission concept design are required, and the ability of the new concept design to be assembled without any interference among the connections must be demonstrated. In this study, an assemblability analysis of the kinematic configurations of a Ravigneaux-type automatic transmission was conducted with an assemblable example of an 8-speed Ravigneaux-type automatic transmission.

  • Until now, there have been no study about kinematic analysis of trunk with meridian muscular system. The purpose of this article is to contribute to the knowledge of meridian muscles of trunk that are related with breathing and basic movements. We research into respiration mechanics analysis and basic trunk movement analysis. And we suggest that the studies of the therapy that apply meridian muscles in trunk and respiration abnormality are more necessary.
