In swarm robot systems, it is vital to maintain network connectivity to ensure cooperative behavior between robots. This paper deals with the behavior control algorithm of the swarm robots for maintaining network connectivity. To do this, we divide swarm robots into search-robots, base-robots, and relay-robots. Using these robots, we propose behavior control algorithm to maintain network connectivity. The behavior control algorithms to maintain network connectivity are proposed for the local path planning using virtual force and global path planning using the Delaunay triangulation, respectively. Finally, we demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method through some simulations.

차량용 에어컨 시스템은 엔진의 가동(주행 또는 공회전)에 의해 발생되는 에너지를 이용하여 운전자가 원하는 차량 실내온도를 유지시켜주는 장치를 말한다. 이러한 기계식 에어컨 시스템의 작동은 엔진 구동력의 일부를 활용하고 있어 자동차의 연비와 큰 관련성 있다. 때문에 하절기 작업 대기시나 차량 내 야간취침 등이 빈번한 상용차량의 경우 운전자의 운행습관에 따라 연료 소비량이 증가하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 개선하고자 대형 상용차량이 정차중인 무시동 기간에도 일정 온도의 유지가 가능 하도록 전력변환장치가 적용된 에어컨 시스템을 제안하였다.

The antibacterial activities of methanol extracts of 19 commercial herbal medicines were measured against the fish pathogens Vibrio ichthyoenteri and Streptococcus iniae, which cause several fish diseases. Rhus javanica showed the strongest antibacterial activity against V. ichthyoenteri and S. iniae. The methanol extract of R. javanica was extracted further using several organic solvents with different polarities. The extract from the ethyl acetate fraction showed strong activity against both fish pathogens. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the R. javanica extract was $32{\mu}g/mL$ for V. ichthyoenteri and $128{\mu}g/mL$ for S. iniae. Further purification and isolation of the active compound (s) responsible for these activities and further study of the synergistic effect using combinations of antibiotics against pathogenic bacteria are needed.

The tethered cord syndrome is characterized by sensory and motor disturbances of the lower extremities and incontinence. We report a 12-year-old boy with sacral lipoma and a tethered cord syndrome, whose chief complaint is enuresis. This complication of tethered cord syndrome was most likely due to a renal failure and hydronephrosis secondary to a neurogenic bladder. Thus, the spinal lesions have to be considered in patients with enuresis.(J Korean Soc Pediatr Nephrol 2002 ;6 : 109-13)

Membrane fouling is an unavoidable phenomenon in operation of seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) and major obstacle for economic and efficient operation. When fouling occurs on the membrane surface, the permeate flux is decreased, on the contrary, the trans-membrane pressure (TMP) is increased, therefore operation and maintaining costs and potential damage of membranes are able to the pivotal risks of the process. Chemical cleaning process is essential to prevent interruptions for effective RO membrane filtration process. This study focused on proper chemical cleaning condition for polyamide RO membranes of 4 companies. Several chemical agents were applied for chemical cleaning under numbers of operating conditions. Additionally, a monitoring tool of FEEM as autopsy analysis method is adapted for the prediction of organic bio-fouling.

Herpes zoster is well-known viral disease in immune compromised that produces inflammatory lesions in the posterior root ganglia and is characterized clinically by pain and skin eruptions along the distribution of the affected ganglia. However, motor involvement after a herpes zoster is an uncommon complication. We report a case of diaphragmatic paralysis that occurred after a herpes zoster in 63-year-old woman. The diaphragmatic paralysis occurred one month after the typical herpes zoster eruptions affecting the C3 and C4 dermatomes in the right neck, shoulder and back area.
