A Study on Keyword Extraction and Expansion for Web Text Retrieval (웹 문서 검색을 위한 검색어 추출과 확장에 관한 연구)

  • Natural language query is the best user interface for the users of web text retrieval systems. This paper proposes a retrieval system with expanded keyword from syntactically-analyzed structures of user's natural language query based on natural language processing technique. Through the steps combining or splitting the compound nouns based on syntactic tree traversal, and expanding the other-formed or shorten-formed keyword into multiple keyword, it shows that precision and correctness of the retrieval system was enhanced.

  • For the users of information retrieval systems, natural language query is the more ideal interface, compared with keyword and boolean expressions. This paper proposes a retrieval technique with expanded keyword from syntactically-analyzed structures of natural language query as user input. Through the steps combining or splitting the compound nouns based on syntactic tree traversal of the query, and expanding the other-formed or shorten-formed into multiple keyword, it can enhance the precision and correctness of the retrieval system.

  • With lots of information occurring on the Internet, the search engine plays a role in gathering the scattered information on the Internet. Some search engines show not only search result pages including search keyword but also search result numbers of the keyword. The number of keyword searching result provided by the Google search engine can be utilized to identify overall trends for this search word on the internet. This paper is aimed designing and realizing the system which can efficiently manage the number of searching result provided by Google search engine. This paper proposed system operates by Web, and consist of search agent, storage node, and search node, manage keyword and search result, numbers, and executing search. The proposed system make the results such as search keywords, the number of searching, NGD(Normalized Google Distance) that is the distance between two keywords in Google area.

  • Recently, DHT-based Structured P2P System have a attention to scalability and providing efficient lookup by routing. Retrieving content of DHT-based P2P require knowledge of the exact identifier of sharing file. But user may wish to search for sharing file using descriptive keyword or content. To resolve the problem, this paper propose Extended-CAN mechanism to support keyword search. We defined content-based keyword and identifier of sharing file, and PLS extended to KID and CKD for keyword, common keyword processing. As a result, Extended-CAN mechanism provide efficient keyword search for DHT-based Structured P2P System.

  • Natural language query is the best user interface for the users of information retrieval systems.   • With the popularization of a World Wide Web (WWW), the quantity of web information has been increased. Therefore, an efficient searching system is needed to offer the exact result of diverse Information to user. Due to this reason, it is important to extract and analysis of user requirements in the distributed information environment. The conventional searching method used the only keyword for the web searching. However, the searching method proposed in this paper adds the context information of keyword for the effective searching. In addition, this searching method extracts keywords by the new keyword extraction method proposed in this paper and it executes the web searching based on a keyword mining profile generated by the extracted keywords. Unlike the conventional searching method which searched for information by a representative word, this searching method proposed in this paper is much more efficient and exact. This is because this searching method proposed in this paper is searched by the example based query included content information as well as a representative word. Moreover, this searching method makes a domain keyword list in order to perform search quietly. The domain keyword is a representative word of a special domain. The performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed by a series of experiments to identify its various characteristic.

  • The purpose of the following report is to introduce a model that makes it possible to efficiently search data by using keyword-based concept network for reliable access of information which is rapidly increasing in the mobile cloud. A keyword-based concept network is a method with the application of ontology. However, the proposed model is added by association information between keyword concepts as a method for a user's efficient information retrieval. Furthermore, the proposed concept network consists of the keyword centered concept network, expert-group-recommended field concept network, and process concept network.

  • Most reading systems that supply various study data generally support keyword search. But the usual keyword matching techniques have a problem to require the exact keyword matching, and could not find similar field materials. Futhermore, testing materials have too little information to apply the keyword matching search. To solve these problems, this thesis proposes the method to extract the important keyword from study data and to construct the database automatically when the data are stored at the storage. And using prepared similar terminology database, we suggest the intelligent and efficient technique to find study materials.

  • Effective keyword extraction is important in the information search system and there are several ways to select proper keyword in many keywords. Among them, DER Structure for AC Algorithm to search single keyword, can search multiple keywords but it has time complexity problem. In this paper, we developed a algorithm, "EDER structure" by expanding standalone search table based on DER structure search method to improve time complexity. We tested the algorithm using 500 text files and found that EDER structure is more efficient than DER structure for AC for keyword posting result and time complexity that 0.2 second for EDER and 0.6 second for DER structure,structure,

An Efficient Keyword Search Method on RDF Data (RDF 데이타에 대한 효율적인 검색 기법)

  • Recently, there has been much work on supporting keyword search not only for text documents, but a]so for structured data such as relational data, XML data, and RDF data. In this paper, we propose an efficient keyword search method for RDF data. The proposed method first groups related nodes and edges in RDF data graphs to reduce data sizes for efficient keyword search and to allow relevant information to be returned together in the query answers. The proposed method also utilizes the semantics in RDF data to measure the relevancy of nodes and edges with respect to keywords for search result ranking. The experimental results based on real RDF data show that the proposed method reduces RDF data about in half and is at most 5 times faster than the previous methods.
