  • In this paper, we present a novel authenticated group key distribution scheme for large and dynamic multicast groups without employing traditional symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic operations. The security of our scheme is mainly based on the basic theories for solving linear equations. In our scheme, a large group is divided into many subgroups, where each subgroup is managed by a subgroup key manager (SGKM) and a group key generation center (GKGC) further manages all SGKMs. The group key is generated by the GKGC and then propagated to all group members through the SGKMs, such that only authorized group members can recover the group key but unauthorized users cannot. In addition, all authorized group members can verify the authenticity of group keys by a public one-way function. The analysis results show that our scheme is secure and efficient, and especially it is very appropriate for secure multicast communications in large and dynamic client-server networks.

  • The security feature is essential in wireless sensor network such as intrusion detection or obstacle observation. Sensor nodes must have shared secret between nodes to support security such as privacy. Many methods which provide key pre-distribution need too many keys or support poor security. To solve this problem, probabilistic key pre-distribution is proposed. This method needs a few keys and use probabilistic method to share keys. However, this method does not guarantee key sharing between nodes, and neighbor nodes nay not communicate each other. It leads to waste of network resource such as inefficient routing, extra routing protocol. In this paper, we propose new key distribution method using quorum system which needs a few keys and guarantee key sharing between nodes. We also propose extension of the method which needs fewer keys and guarantee key sharing when node deployment knowledge is well known.

  • During the last decade, security models have been defined for two- and three-parity key exchange protocols. Currently there is a growing research interest in security models for group key management schemes. While various security models and provably secure protocols have been proposed for distributed group key exchange schemes, no results are hewn for centralized group key distribution schemes in spite of their theoretical and practical importance. We describe security requirements and a formal security model for centralized group key distribution scheme: we define the model on the channel controlled by adversaries with the ability of strong user corruption. In the security model, we propose a conversion module which can transform centralized tree-based group key distribution schemes in the literature to provably secure centralized tree-based group key distribution schemes.

  • This paper examines the security vulnerability, demanded service, layering consideration for local area networks(LANs), and proposes a new key distribution system suitable to local area networks. the new key distribution system Is applicable to time quantum in encrytion key and then the time used arid the quantity of encryption message using the encryption key are limited. A system suggested in this paper can achive some higher concurrency of key and authentication of the opposite party. Even through a encryption key expose by reason of wiretapping of a frame unit, It has achived some more security and safety, because the contens of all traffic messages are not known.

  • In this paper, the random key pre-distribution scheme introduced in ACM CCS'02 by Eschenauer and Gligor is reexamined, and a generalized form of key establishment is introduced. As the communication overhead is one of the most critical constraints of any successful protocol design, we introduce an alternative scheme in which the connectivity is maintained at the same level as in the original work, while the communication overhead is reduced by about 40% of the original overhead, for various carefully chosen parameters. The main modification relies on the use of a two-level key pool design and two round assignment/key establishment phases. Further analysis demonstrates the efficiency of our modification.

  • A quantum computer, based on quantum mechanics, is a paradigm of information processing that can show remarkable possibilities of exponentially improved information processing. This paradigm can be solved in a short time by calculating factoring problem and discrete logarithm problem that are typically used in public key cryptosystems such as RSA(Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) and ECC(Elliptic Curve Cryptography). In 2013, Lei et al. proposed a secure NTRU-based key distribution protocol for quantum computing. However, Lei et al. protocol was vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks. In this paper, we propose a NTRU(N-the truncated polynomial ring) key distribution protocol with mutual authentication only using NTRU convolution multiplication operation in order to maintain the security for quantum computing. The proposed protocol is resistant to quantum computing attacks. It is also provided a secure key distribution from various attacks such as man-in-the middle attack and replay attack.

  • Thos paper summarized previously proposed several public key distribution systems and proposes a new public key distribution system to generate an common secret conference key for public key distribution systems three or more user. The now system is based on discrete exponentiation, that is all operations involve reduction modulo p for large prime p and we study some novel characteristics for computins multiplicative inverse in GF(p). We use one-way communication to distribute work keys, while the other uses two-way communication. The security of the new system is based on the difficulty of determining logarithms in a finite field GF(p) and stronger than Diffie-Hellman public key distribution system.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient mutual authentication and key distribution protocol for cdma2000 packet data service which uses Mobile U access method with DIAMETER AAA(Authentication, Authorization and Accounting) infrastructure. The proposed scheme provides an efficient mutual authentication between MN(Mobile Node) and AAAH(home AAA server), and a secure session-key distribution among Mobile If entities. The proposed protocol improves the efficiency of DIAMETER AAA and satisfies the security requirements for authentication and key distribution protocol. Also, the key distributed by the proposed scheme can be used to generate keys for packet data security over 1xEV-DO wireless interface, in order to avoid a session hijacking attack for 1xEV-DO packet data service.

  • By defining a uniform reference point array corresponding to the 3D voxel array and abandoning voxels whose deviations from their respective reference points exceed a given tolerance, the distribution of voxels within the volumetric 3D image space gets uniform, effects of non-uniform distribution upon the image reconstructing are eased.

  • It is shown in this paper that Yuksel-Nielson's key distribution scheme is not secure against key de-synchronization attack even though their scheme supplement ZigBee-2007 specification's security problems. Furthermore, a new key distribution scheme is proposed, which is the one to fix the security weakness of Yuksel-Nielson's scheme, as well as its security and performance analysis to verify its effectiveness.
