  • In this paper, we propose the algorithm for the AR(Augmented Reality) system, which is robust to the brightness change of light. In the proposed method, the histogram specification is achieved using the sample histogram, obtained from the frames in which the target objects could be detected successful. And When the object key-points couldn't be detected by the displacement of camera positions, the positions of non-detected key-points ware estimated using the linear KF(Kalman Filter). When the proposed algorithm is applied in the AR systems, the object key-points can be detected three times as much as the existing others. In addition, to prove the more efficiency of the proposed algorithm, we implemented the AR game, and could know that the performance is the more advanced than the others. The proposed algorithm can be used for the AR environments, which high efficiency is required such as the AR game, or the implementation of AR systems which are robust to the change of lights, etc.

  • The paper proposes an analytical framework for the impact of technical change on business model innovation. Based upon the examination of the relationship between the mission of business and technology, it introduces classification of technology-based business models such as problem-solving model, production model and network model, respectively employing intensive technology, interlinked technology and mediating technology as a key technology. The discussion of various cases of business model innovation shows that the impact of digital technology is first translated into the value generation in terms of efficiency or effectiveness. These new values then enable a new business model which is based on a different key technology through business model shift, expansion, unbundling, or platform. Quite often those business model changes involves system-wide innovation. The framework for the analysis of the impact of technical change on business model innovation is presented with directions for future research.

  • PURPOSE. A large number of studies have suggested the practicability and predictability of immediate implant function, but few studies have reported marginal bone level changes during sequential loading periods. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the marginal bone remodeling of immediately loaded self-tapping implants both at each time point and during each loading period between two time points. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The patients included in this retrospective study were treated with immediately loaded NobelSpeedy Replace implants between August 2008 and July 2009. Differences in the marginal bone level (MBL) at each time point and the marginal bone level change (ΔMBL) between two time points were analyzed with Bonferroni correction (P < .05). RESULTS. Overall, 24 patients (mean age, 47.3 ± 12.8 years) with 42 immediately loaded implants and a median follow-up of 6.5 years (IQR, 67.8 months) were included. The cumulative survival rate after 10 - 12 years was 95.2%. Continuous but slow marginal bone loss was observed during long-term follow-up. MBL at both 7.5 years and 11 years was significantly lower than that at loading, 6 months, 2 years and 4 years (P < .05). No bone loss difference was found in any period before 4 years of follow up (P > .05). The loading period of 4 years to 7.5 years showed the largest ΔMBL compared to those of other time periods (P < .05). CONCLUSION. Slight bone loss occurred continuously, and more radical changes of marginal bone can be observed during the period of 4-7.5 years. Thus, long-term effective follow-up of immediately loaded implants is needed.

  • In order to construct a Video Database, shot change detection should be made first. But, because these processes are not automated perfectly, we need a lot of time and efforts now. And, there are many shot change detection algorithms, which can't always insure the perfect result because of the editing effects such as cut, wipe, and dissolves used in film production. Therefore, in order to receive the exact shot change, It needs the verification and correction by manual processing at any cost. Spatiotemporal slice is a simple image condensing method for the content changes of video. The editing effects are expressed on the Spatiotemporal slice in the visually noticed form of vertical line, diagonal line, curved line and gradual color changes, etc. Accordingly the parts doubted as a shot change can be easily detected by the change of the Spatiotemporal slice without replaying the video. The system proposed in this study makes it possible to delete the false detected key frames, and create the undetected key frames on the Spatiotemporal slice.

  • Greenhouse gas emission policy in Korea and elsewhere is based on emissions projections, a key element of which is the projected path of structural change from high productivity growth to low productivity growth economic sectors given sector specific labor productivity growth, emissions abatement across sectors and population growth. Thus, it is important to model the source of the structural change to forecast emissions correctly. Using data for the Korean economy, this study constructs and quantitatively evaluates a model of structural change and green growth to generate policy implications for Korea and the international greenhouse gas debate.

  • Researches have shown that learning science frequently requires the process of conceptual change. As a result, many of the constructivist teaching and loaming approaches focus on this kind of loaming. In approaches that focus on conceptual change, cognitive conflict strategies play a key role. Students, however, still have much difficulty in loaming science. Theoretically, it underlies Piaget's genetic epistemology in which disequilibration demands an interplay between assimilation and accommodation until equilibrium is restored. Also, radical constructivism has its roots in a variety of disciplines, but has been most profoundly influenced by the theories of lean Piaget as interpreted and extended by Glasersfeld. This study is intended to interpret the conceptual change from radical constructivist perspective and explain difficulties of conceptual change which students have in learning science.

  • Global climate change becomes one of the most serious environmental problems over the world. There is growing recognition thai climate change education, especially for children is important. However, there have been few programmes, curricula, teachers' training chances, and teaching-learning materials for climate change education so far. Therefore, we analyse the world wide web(web) contents in Korea which are available for climate change education, providing fundamental data in developing educational contents for climate change, as well as helping users to search appropriate contents for climate change education. Subjects for this study are 10 web sites of public institutions related to climate change in Korea. The web contents are evaluated in terms of diversity, accuracy, authenticity and the ease of use. The key finding in this study is that the majority of the contents are focused on how to respond to the problem, especially mitigation and also we find that most of the web sites provide text-types of lesson plan and video-types. Consequently, it would be necessary to develop various web contents for climate change education in both quality and quantity aspects.

  • Eukaryotic translation termination is governed by eRF1 and eRF3. eRF1 recognizes the stop codons and then hydrolyzes peptidyl-tRNA. eRF3, which facilitates the termination process, belongs to the GTPase superfamily. In this study, the effect of the MC domain of eRF1a (eRF1aMC) on the GTPase activity of eRF3 was analyzed using fluorescence spectra and high-performance liquid chromatography. The results indicated eRF1aMC promotes the GTPase activity of eRF3, which is similar to the role of eRF1a. Furthermore, the increased affinity of eRF3 for GTP induced by eRF1aMC was dependent on the concentration of $Mg^{2+}$. Changes in the secondary structure of eRF3C after binding GTP/GDP were detected by CD spectroscopy. The results revealed changes of conformation during formation of the eRF3C GTP complex that were detected in the presence of eRF1a or eRF1aMC. The conformations of the eRF3C eRF1a GTP and eRF3C eRF1aMC GTP complexes were further altered upon the addition of $Mg^{2+}$. By contrast, there was no change in the conformation of GTP bound to free eRF3C or the eRF3C eRF1aN complex. These results suggest that alterations in the conformation of GTP bound to eRF3 is dependent on eRF1a and $Mg^{2+}$, whereas the MC domain of eRF1a is responsible for the change in the conformation of GTP bound to eRF3 in Euplotes octocarinatus.
